I came into Anne’s shortly before closing time on Wed in search of a mother of the bride dress for my daughter’s wedding on Friday. Long back story as to why I needed a MOB at the last minute. The staff was extremely helpful showing me their selection and helping me in and out of the gowns. While the selection wasn’t huge I found several options to try and found a dress I really loved. The seamstress pinned up the hem and promised to have it ready for me the next afternoon. The plan was to pick it up on the way to the rehearsal. Then the rains came, flooded streets and closures. Location of the rehearsal was changed at the last minute. Things were really getting crazy. I called the store to see if they had a courier service they could call to deliver the dress to my hotel. Ended up speaking to Gary the owner who told me he would personally deliver it to my hotel on his way home. And so he did! I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with everyone at Anne’s. This shop takes customer service to a whole new level which is rare these days. Highly recommend Anne’s to anyone shopping for women’s clothing in Charleston. Nice selection of everyday wear in addition to formal wear.
