L&B continues to give 5 Star level service as they provide routine FREE service for two years following the installation. My highest AC/​electric bill last Summer was $ 101 in August 2014.

We have done a significant amount of research on home central HVAC systems and experiences from home owners who had their HVAC replaced by going on-​line as well as contact many of our neighbors who have got their HVAC systems replaced. We received multiple quotes from some of the highly rated HVAC contractors as well as the recommended HVAC contractors from our neighbors.
L & B Universal is by far the lowest price contractor with exceptional service and response time as compare to ALL of others contractors that we get quotes from. Our sales person, Enrique is very pleasant, knowledgeable and patience in working with us in selecting our HVAC system and related HVAC options. We asked many questions that we learned from on-​line, working with other HVAC contractor and our cooling preferences based on our house as well as all of the electronics that we run in the house. Other contractors were at least $ 1500-​$ 3000 more than L & B Universal. L & B Universal service include a two years maintenance and five years labor which others do not provide.
The installation of both HVAC units were extremely fast with a crew of four, each working one unit. Three trucks came to do the installations and it took about 6 – 7 hours. Everything was cleaned up after the work is done. Everything was done very smoothly as though they were not there. HVAC systems registrations and most of the paperwork are completed by L & B Universal. The technician provided maintenance training, manuals and all paperwork. Easy and pleasant experience. Invoicing was also an easy process where everything is done and we opt to receive them via email.

The inside evaporator coil (inside) is sized a little larger than the condenser coil (outside) and provided a little more efficiently and cooling for us. The basement/​first floor gas heater was sized a little bigger than the attic unit since heat rises and more heating is needed on the lower levels.
Our outside refrigerant line set had many transitions, bends and is old so L & B Universal replaced them from the outside units to our wall. Our thermostats used to take batteries now power off the HVAC systems really saving our concern about replacing thermostats batteries.
We looked at some of neighbors that had their HVAC systems replaced and noticed that they paid more and did not get some of the quality work that is done by L &B Universal such as new line set due to transitions and 2 years maintenance. These neighbors are paying higher premium with no added values. A few contractors even said that there must be something that we will be billed during the installation process since the price is low, but everything was very smooth.
We highly recommend L &B Universal for their pre-​sales process, workmanship, price and friendly staff.

Alex and his team are the best! Alex came to my house to do an assessment on our broken HVAC. He sold me a water heat tank and Carrier system that is more than $ 2000 less than the quote Home Depot and Costco offered. His Techs came in on the day of installation on time, with tarps and did an awesome job! Everyones responsive and answered all of my question.

The process of choosing the right contractor was long and tedious. My wife and I have evaluated (9) quotes for this job (Big business, Small business, local, and outside the area)…we selected L&M Universal, Inc. for this job. The hard work in evaluation quotes paid off as L&B Universal turned to be an excellent choice. At the beginning we thought L&B were the best contract based on cost alone (lowest quote), but quickly realized during installation and afterward that we have chosen the best contractor not only based on value alone but also on performance, maintenance, and «overall» value. Our Carrier Infinity 2 stage 19 SEER heat pump system cost less than $ 8K ($ 2K to $ 3K Savings) when compared with the next closest quote (Cost), installation went perfect, on time arrival, an army of professionals arrive to prep. the area and watching the team at work left me with the impression that they are true dedicated experienced professionals, and at the end I was surprised that QA and final check list was performed by the company’s owner «Bruce» (performance), also we were given two years maintenance and service free of charge and in conjunction with manufacturer warranty we were given three years labor warranty (maintenance & value).
