A little over a year ago I was being really mopey and nagging on my husband to let me get a dog. I’ve grown up with dogs so it was really hard for me adjusting to married life but not having a pet. I searched and searched and searched on PetFinder and sent countless pictures of needy pets to my husband. Finally, I stumbled upon a picture of an adorable dog named Casanova. He stole my heart and I knew we were meant to be. The husband gave in. This dog was taken care of through the foster program at Mixed Up Mutts and Shepherds Too. I contacted his foster mom and we set up a meeting time. His foster mom was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to find a home for this sweet dog. Long story short, we met and I adopted the dog that day. Now Rally(formerly Casanova) is a happy, energetic, well adjusted dog. I have a lot of gratitude for the organization that took him in time and time again after he was adopted out and then returned as if he were store merchandise. I know his foster mom took excellent care of him. I was so pleased with this organization and I found their adoption fees to be very minimal. Excellent customer service and consideration for animals goes a long way.
