Cox Residential Digital Solutions Store

We had a great experience at this Cox location. We were greeted by a Cox representative as they opened the door for us upon entrance. The wait for service was minimal. We worked with Julene, who was helpful and personable!

I am standing here watching employees log off and leave their work stations with at least 8 customers in line. Two ladies are just door holders and one is a live mannequin!
I like Cox cable over but the service here needs a big adjustment!!!

Like the rest of the Buffoons in this company, the store did nothing that the techs I spoke to the night before to told me to make sure happened. They pointed out a mac address and told me it was the password to access the modem. They had no idea what to do with me when I brought my modem in for an exchange. Took a long time to convince them I was not canceling. Been with Cox 21 years and they charged me $ 50. for an install when I moved. I know, 21 years with no other options for service.
The installer cut the direct TV cables because it was easier and faster to for him to install. I assume I now have to pay for DirectV to install. Installer left about 15 feet of cable hanging out of the wall (not the room the modem is in) and ran the cable under the outlet cover rather than feeding the cable through. That would have required a new fitting.
Overall, if you have any possible option to go with other than Cox do it. Really.

My review is based on the customer service I received at this location and not the quality of the products. I came in to return my DVR box and when I got there (about 5min before opening) there was already a line outside the door of about 6 people which made me worry. I was surprised that I was able to check-​in, return my DVR and get a receipt in less than 10min. Both the check-​in guy and the guy helping get my receipt were nice and professional.

TERRIBLE. Not helpful at all. Paying for 50 speed internet and only getting 15 and after spending hours on the phone with customer service they cannot/​will not do anything to fix it. Save your money and go with Century Link or ANY other provider.
I do not recommend Cox services to anyone.

We were sweet talked into changing our Century Link phone service to Cox Phone service. The clueless tech fiddles with our phone for ninety minutes installing a huge phone modem in addition to our basic cable modem, screws up our fax machine, and has our phone number switched off. When I had enough of his shenanigans and asked him to leave, he and his supervisor I demanded he call refused to have our basic phone service resumed. We are now without any phone service at all, and our business fax does not work.
DO NOT GET COX PHONE SERVICE.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband went into this store yesterday to check out pricing because we are unhappy with our current billing with Directv. He was asked his address and email and they gave him a quote for the services he was requesting. He left and thank the guy and told him he would be in touch if we decided to switch to Cox. By the time he got home, he had an email confirming his installation for his new Cox service. Do I need say again… he did not agree to get Cox, only asked for a quote. He called the Cox office to cancel. He sat on the phone for 27 minutes before a human answered. After explaining he never wanted the service, they had the audacity to try and talk him into keeping the appointment and using Cox! He told them absolutely not! What a joke.

Best experience i’ve had in a service store. Julene answered every question I asked and was incredibly helpful explaining all of our different options. We will go out of our way to talk to her if we ever have issues. She deserves a raise.

First of all the address on your website leads customers to an old location. Secondly although it says «open now «on the website the store is closed!
Don’t think I will ever trust cox for my communication needs when they can’t get their own communication correct !

Cox sucks! Three different people told us they would come out Sunday, only to find out our schedules install was for Monday. It’s not a big deal, except for the fact that they lied and had us waiting all day for someone that never showed.

The wireless router I rent from Cox was getting flaky, so I packed it up and headed over to this location to get it replaced. There were tons of staff to help, they didn’t ask me a bunch of questions, and I was in and out with a new wireless router in literally, 3 minutes. Great experience, particularly compared to Comcast, where I almost killed myself once.

Go to a different location !! These people are incompetent and do not own up to their mistakes. They gave me a defective router and when I came back to exchange it, they were in in a rush to close the store and go home. The associates claimed that their systems were closed and they were unable to exchange the router for a working one,
They sent me to another store 40 minutes away from my house instead of fixing their mistake. They charged my account for the same transaction twice, according to them, I purchased and rented the same router. Now I have to fix up their mess.

Cox internet service is good but their customer service is pathetic. They let customer to wait about 20 to 30 min, then they don’t listen to customer complains. Cox know that they are monopoly in providing cable based internet service. I am sure they will keep this attitude because customer don’t have any other option for cable based Internet. DSL or century link Internet is not as good as cox Internet. Cox is also ripping off customers by increasing their prices without even informing or giving notices to customers. They have done it many times with me & they always say that they don’t care about giving notices about any changes they make to customers’ accounts.

Cox is getting out of hand with their fees. Went into this store to pick up high definition box. Clerk was quick to add the box onto my account, along with the fee, but too dumb to add the box serial number onto my account for it to be activated. After 45 minutes with the tech dept, finally got it figured out that the serial number was never added to my account, just the charging of the monthly fee. Sent in a complaint to the store for bad customer service, am sure I won’t ever hear a reply. Ready to sign up for DISH!

I have been with Cox for two years. I find their service to be dependable, and they have high speed as advertised. The service at the store has always been quick and accommodating.
I have been with other internet providers outside AZ, and I find Cox faster and more reliable.

I was expecting to wait for a while but I was seen quickly. I was turning in a couple DVRs and remote controls because I cancelled my TV service. It’s too expensive and I discovered that I don’t need it. I have my antenna and stream everything I want to watch. Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus is all I need.

I went in to cancel cox cable but keep the internet after having it for 5 years because it was getting too expensive. The guy said two words to me, clicked a couple buttons, and handed me a slip without making eye contact. They didn’t bother to ask why or fight for me as a customer. As soon as I find a better wifi service, I’m out entirely!

I have had Cox Cable for 8 Years and had next to no problems until recently when I called to try and lower my bill. doing research I found I could get cheaper TV going to them as a new customer and they treated me like a spoiled child for even asking what my options would be. I was on hold for over 35 min on one failed attempt to talk to customer serves when I gave up. DISH or Direct TV has better customer service and cheaper rates. only reason I gave them 2 stars is the product it self was good for me and I still have there high speed internet. I shut off cable and am using internet for TV now.

I have been with Cox for 8 years and would never recommend them to any one unless they absolutely must have a cable connection — Cox is the worse in customer service, they jack up their prices because they are the ONLY cable company in the valley and they recently have had outages for unexplained reasons.
Last month’s outage lasted 3 days — THREE DAYS! And when you called to find out what was wrong you would get a «sorry we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes and will be unable to answer your call.» *click* {– the sound of Cox’s automated message hanging up on you.
Avoid at all costs if you can. There is no redeeming quality at this time that makes them worth the horrible customer service and intermittent service.

This locations staff was really friendly, thus this review is about the service.
The service and customer support on the phone is god awful.
I jumped ship to Direct tv and got twice the channels two HD/DVR’s plus in home sharing for recorded shows on multiple televisions and am still saving money.
Unfortunately I did not want the hassle of changing emails so i went ahead and kept that service, but with the new increase I am probably out.
They treat customers like dirt, but what do you expect form a company with little to no competition.
Also, The tech they sent out to install the new cable line for internet in my new home spent 30 minutes bashing my choice of direct TV and informing me how much better cox was. my fiancé and I were blown away by how brazen the tech went about doing this, given the Direct TV techs had just left and did not say one bad word about cox of inquiring why we had switched.
