At Jeanne’s School of Dance, we’re passionate not only about dance — but about each dancer too. The heart of everything we do is teamwork, because being part of a team that works together, supports and challenges each other is what helps each dancer to become the best they can be — on and off the stage.
This team environment is what helps Jeanne’s families to maintain a healthy balance between dance, school and home. By cherishing the whole child and encouraging them to excel in all areas of their life, dancers blossom with confidence and perform with grace.
It’s been said that Jeanne’s School of Dance is like a ‘Home away from Home’. Jeanne’s is an oasis where dancers can indulge their passion in a wholesome family atmosphere that nurtures and celebrates each student’!!s unique talents and strengths.
History
Established in 1958.
Jeanne’s School of Dance began in 1958 when original owner, Jeanne Wright, found that there weren’t any options for after school dance lessons for her daughters. She began teaching dance classes out of her home and Jeanne’s School of Dance was born. As the school grew as the first dance studio in the area, she expanded to open studios in Chandler, East Mesa and Queen Creek. Before her passing in 2013, Jeanne sold her Chandler location to her great nieces, Amy Grover and Kaley Farnsworth. They proudly carry on the friendly, neighborhood studio feel and with wholesome family qualities and the traditions Jeanne established over 50 years ago.

Business Owner
«My passion for teaching began as a little girl going on visits to my grandmother’s 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms where she would let me be her «helper» for the day. I knew from those experiences that teaching was in my blood. My goal is to give your children a unique learning environment where we nurture the whole child, giving them an education in dance with life-enriching benefits that will stay with them forever.
