Dr. John McDonald has been in practice for 27 years. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating with honors in 1985. He was in private practice in Illinois for 24 prior to joining the Advanced Back & Neck team. Dr. McDonald’s role at Advanced Back & Neck is more of a GM position, taking care of the daily operations; however he does still treat patients. His many years in this field have led him to believe that Chiropractic is truly one of the greatest and necessary professions in the world.

Established in 2005.

Advanced Back and Neck continues to grow and serve the community. We have added doctors and therapist over the years to keep up with the growth of the business. As we strive to be the best in the valley we will continue to add to our staff.

I bought a Groupon for a massage and it was worth the discounted rate and they offer an amazing deal for a second massage $ 25 that they tell you about after your 1st massage. My therapist has been doing massages for 25+ years. She did a great job.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I called this place last minute to ask if there was anyway I could come in for a massage. I was sooo lucky that there was a last minute cancellation! Honestly the best massage I have had in a long time. Had recently been to Massage Envy and this place puts them to shame. No pressure to buy anything, the doctor did a walk through showing me and another client the place. I will definitely be coming back here and will recommend to all my friends and neighbors! Also, the prices are amazing!

Received my first of two $ 25, 1 hour massages that are given to new customers. The massage therapist was professional and polite. She did an amazing job! After my massage I was greeted by one of the chiropractors who took me on an informative tour through the office and explained everything they had to offer including chiropractic work, physical therapy, and pain management. I was very impressed with my visit today. I will be returning!

My daughter and I both go for therapy here and have been loving it so far! The entire staff has been so great! We have been seeing Angela and Becky and they are amazing! Dr. Voisen has been our chiropractor, and he is great!!!
We recommend this place to anyone who needs it! Friendly staff and beautiful office with all of the bells and whistles.

I know many people are looking for relief from neck and/​or back pain. I know I have been looking for relief for the past few years. I am finally finding it at Advanced Back & Neck Care.
They combine chiropractic with massage, as well as physical therapy — all under the same roof! The combination is giving me the relief I have been searching for.
I wanted to write this review to get the word out to others. I have been to many other establishments, but I have never received the relief I am now getting.
I also wanted to add that the entire staff at Advanced Back & Neck is GREAT!!! It is such a pleasure going in for my adjustment and massage and/​or physical therapy.
This facility gets 5 stars from me!!!

I purchased a Groupon for a 1-​hour massage for $ 29. I had a pretty good massage but it was a different experience than I was expecting. Which is only my mistake; no fault of theirs. I typically go to spas that have aroma therapy when you walk in and relaxing music throughout. Although, I expressed some focus areas, I didn’t get a full body massage in one session. However, the areas I asked her focus on definitely feel a lot better. This definitely has more of a doctor’s office feel. They still get the job done but it’s more of a pain/​discomfort correction than relaxation massage. Nonetheless, the staff is friendly, efficient and the facility is clean. I was surprised at how many services they perform under one roof. This would be a great place for physical therapy and pain management sessions. I was given a tour by one of the chiropractors and that was a pleasant experience. He simply explained all of the amenities of the facility with no pressure to purchase. Although I gave it 3 stars, I’d recommend them.

I bought a Groupon for a massage and it was worth the discounted rate but nothing special. It was my therapists second day on the job, so that could be part of the reason for my 3 star massage experience.
The facility is nice and as long as the price is right (they are checking my insurance) I’ll be back to give their other services a try.

As so many reviews begin… I purchased a Groupon.
$ 25 for 60 minute massage. It was money very well spent. I received the best massage ever from Tammy! She was so intuitive and new exactly what to do.
I ended up coming back and having some adjustments done. The rest of the staff is nice and friendly, but not spectacular. I scheduled another massage but was told Tammy was no longer there. I still got the massage but it was not even close to as good.
5 Stars for Tammy. 3 for the rest of the place.

BEWARE!
Just a note to stay clear of this place when being upsold on added services. They will tell you it’s not out of pocket, and insurance will be billed, and then bill you months later in FULL. Almost a bait & switch tactic in my opinion, since patients TRUST doctors and will sign what is needed prior to treatment. This place abuses that trust — BEWARE!

The physician who treats my chronic pain condition recommended I try some massages to see if they might help mitigate the pain. My first visit to Advanced Back and Neck Care was a pleasant surprise (used a Groupon voucher). They worked on my neck and back for nearly an hour and I left feeling better than I have in a very long time.

I was at my sports doc today and told them about this facility, I went for a massage and got a!!! great!!! massage. I wasn’t looking for a rub down, I needed a massage., I used to be a LMT and Im pretty snobbish to technique. (Michelle) gave me my massage (I think it was Michelle, I had her card out today, to give someone her info to go get a massage, and that’s what reminded me that I wanted to comment here, but sadly I may have lost it :(I know she has all boys… and one girl ;0)) no kidding its been over a week and I still feel grateful for her service. I was attended to as soon as I walked in, after showed me around a bit, and when im in need I feel this will be my ’ go to’ place

I’ve been a regular with chiropractors and massage therapists (and a few physical therapists) for over 20 years. This is in the top 2% of all the above. I do not say that lightly. They provided excellent services and the people are friendly and accommodating — not that I’ve had poor service at competitors but just need to point out these guys/​gals are top of the charts.
My only regret is not finding them years sooner.
