R. Mayer of Atlanta towing company’s community involvement affects the community in a positive way, from Alpharetta to downtown Atlanta and surrounding areas. We are active members of our community, from full support of youth activities to other nonprofits and other charitable organizations helping those who need a hand up. We belong to a number of service organizations, and we try to set an example of fellowship by befriending all. Owners Debbie and Ronnie Mayer are proud of their shared heritage in the Atlanta area and work hard to protect and improve upon it for future generations.

Recently my car broke down so I called and was told by a young lady that somebody would call me back. Within 5 minutes a driver called back to confirm my location. He said that it may take 30 minutes but he only took 13 minutes (during rush hour time)! If I waited for my insurance to send a company I would have been waiting for at least 3 hours. Once the driver got there he was very friendly. Accepted my payment and took the car to my mechanic. Easy smooth transaction… hopefully I don’t have to use them again under the circumstances lol but if my car breaks down they will most likely be the first tow company I call.

Just was picked up this morning by Eugene to take my car to the mechanic at Sport Motoring. Eugene was friendly and professional and knew exactly where he was going. Very honest, prompt, and professional company. I highly recommend them. Today was my second time using R. Mayer (different drivers each time) but based on that I would recommend them highly.

I have used them several times now and change my opinion because overall the company does a great job. My previous review was based off of one interaction which was not an overall reflection of the entire company. I meet the owner who is a very nice guy and we talk about the business of towing which help me to understand that I probably should have called and talked to them first about my issue instead of posting a review of an entire company from an interaction of just one person which turned out to be an misunderstanding. They have been efficient when getting my vehicles towed and I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience. I needed my car taken to a body shop for repairs. The phone was answered promptly and the truck was at my house 20 minutes later. I rode with the driver who was very nice (James). It couldn’t have been better!

Worst experience EVER! The driver was rude, used profanity, almost hit my friend with his tow truck. My car was to be towed because of a broken belt and hose and my car was being driven by the driver and when I asked the driver not to drive the car he became extremely rude and used more profanity. I called into the supervisor to only be subjected to a mere «I’m sorry». I’ll never use this towing service again nor would I ever use them if they were the only tow truck service in America. Very unprofessional!

Ronnie took great care of us when we needed a tow! He arrived promptly within 15 minutes, and he knew exactly what he was doing as he expertly and efficiently towed the car. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He also knew some connections at the maintenance shop we where we took the car and he made sure we were taken care of there, too. Excellent service at a great value!

I had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. I called for a tow to a shop on Roswell Rd and the driver started the conversation by saying he had already been dispatched to my location, but it would take him about two hours to get to me. This was a Saturday mid day, so no traffic. I explained where we needed to be towed to, he demanded cash and told me he would not be supplying a receipt. When I told him to cancel the pick up, he told me since he had my phone number, and since he had been dispatched, they would be billing me for the tow anyway. I’d like to see him try!
