This store is great if you already know what you want. I came in here and all the employees seemed very busy. They only sell paint so I thought it would be a great place to figure out what I’d need to buy — but after greeting me no one spoke to me again. And I felt like I was interrupting them whenever I approached the counter.

Candice Olson and Sabrina Soto are my DIY/​HGTV heroes.
So when I was ready to redecorate my bathroom I looked to their suggestions for paint colors. They promote Benjamin Moore paint.
Where would I find that?
Google searched. Vista Paint came up. What a surprise to find one of their showrooms a few blocks from my house. I’ve passed the store a ka-​gillion times and never noticed the shop.
Went in. The sales lady couldn’t have been more helpful. Found a few colors I liked then consulted Candice’s and Sabrina’s websites.
Went back to Vista Paint online to print out a coupon for 2 free pints of paint to test the color on my walls at home.
Back to Vista Paint.
Hint to store owner: If you want to sell paint to a woman, have your saleswoman work out front exclusively, and the guys in the back only. The men were. .. meh.
