You Dirty Dog

So last time I took my dog to get groomed at Petco… it was an okay job but I thought her hair was a bit choppy throughout her whole body, and they stuck bows on her ears. She’s a 70 pound german shepherd/​Irish setter mix … not really a bow dog!
So I wanted to try a new place… found You Dirty Dog had 5 stars, granted it was only from 3 reviews but one of the reviews was from Melissa F. And I’d trust her reviews. So I gave them a call and made an appointment for Monday, I was then informed that they are closed on Mondays at Long Beach but they will be at the VCA pet hospital in Cerritos… yeah! Even closer!
I booked with Maria and she was super sweet on the phone and gave me pretty clear instructions of what to do once I get to the VCA. I made it to my appointment a bit late, and Maria came down to grab Nani, and told me how she was going to cut the fly aways and get all the mattes out of her fur. So I left her in good hands and left.
One breakfast and a walk around Costco later I got a call from Maria that Nani was all finished! I was excited to see the results. When she brought Nani out, I was so happy with the results. Everything flowed well… no choppy hair and best of all they put a cute little bandana on her… no bows! She’s definitely a banadana dog, not a bow dog.
Oh and it was only $ 55 + $ 10 tip, it was cheaper than before too! Sweet! But sad that I pay more to get my dog groomed than my own hair!
