We were in Cerritos mall for the past 20 years now we have relocated acorss the street from the mall

Established in 1992.

Shoe wiz started in 1992 by Sam a shoe wiz master, has provided his expertise for the past 23 years in the Cerritos mall, due to the expensive rent inside the mall we have relocated across the street on 183 St. He and his sons have worked at this family business for years, as you can see shoe expertise is being passed down from generation to generation, it runs in the family

This is that place you wish existed but have never found — a great owner and friendly staff. Honest prices and turnaround time, you’d be amazed at what amazing work is done here. I’m so glad i stumbled on this place. Have had only bad luck with cobblers — either the work is over priced or the quality of the work done is just sad — or both. Have referred all my work friends here and life just got a wee bit better for all of us!

Goyard Repair. Goyard Corner Reinforcement. I brought a Goyard for repair since the corners had tears, this is a known issue with these handbags. I brought a photo of the corner reinforcement done by the original. I was surprised that they were able to repair the corners and they look almost exactly like the original factory patches. I’m very happy with the results.

The sole of my bootie heels were chipping off after a couple years of wear and finally one side just fell off. I’ve had these booties for so long and they’re so comfortable it felt like a waste to just throw them away for new ones.
Came in on a Wednesday and was able to pick them up on Friday. Paid to fix the heel and have them cleaned (which was an extra $ 5) and it was worth it! Total was around $ 20 and honestly they look and feel new.
Rather than spending $ 80 for new booties I get to keep my favorites that work like they’re brand new for $ 20!
Definitely recommend and coming back for my all shoe repair needs!

I brought my heels that were chewed up by my puppy and his pricing was decent! I just needed to get my padding and the fabric on top of that replaced. When I picked it up the padding and the fabric was not properly sewed/​glued on correctly. I went back for them to fix it and they did. Would I go back? Yes I would go back, only because of the decent prices but I would not expect top quality work to be done.

This spot is «THE SPOT» I have been coming here since 2003. I came back today looking for this shop Sam (the owner) has been doing this or 22+ years. I came to the mall today, only to see that Cerritos Mall had been remodeled and he was nowhere to be found BUT I asked around and people informed me he was across the street on 183rd. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING COME HERE TO FIX UR SHOES, PURSES or just shop!!!

I ruined my pair of suede dress shoes during a drunk night in Asia, and I tried to clean it off with Kiwi shoe cleaner. I made the tips of my shoes hard to the touch and there were noticeable marks all over. After Sam had a good laugh about how foolish I was to try and clean it myself, he explained to me what he was going to do and charged me a reasonable amount.
A few days later, I picked up my shoes and they looked and felt as though they were brand new! The suede is mostly soft again and I’m very happy with their quality of work — good job guys!

Great Service… took my boots to be stretched. The man that helped me was honest about the stretching. It was possible that it might not work. However he would do his best. He explained exactly what he was going to do. I went back the next day to pick the boots up. I tried them on and it worked. I zipped them up with no problems.

Location: in the same plaza as Thai BBQ and Dairy Queen. The place can be easily missed, but if you are in the Diary Queen plaza on 183rd, you’re in the right spot! I came here during lunch to fix the tips of my heels and he fixed it for me for $ 9! He was very nice, prompt, and fast! Come here for all of your shoe problems!

I think I’m in love again… with my boots that is. I have SHOE WIZ to thank for that. I was pretty excited to find a place that repairs my favorite shoes. The owner (I assume SAM) was very informative. He told me how the soles are put together and how he would repair them. It cost me $ 18 and two days and worth every penny and the wait. When I arrived to pick up my boot Sam gave them a little extra polish and sent me on my way. They were repaired perfectly. Better than what I had imagined. My boots feel great to walk in again. Thanks to shoe wiz for the great work and the great service. I will be recommending them to everyone!

If there’s one place you need to go to fix your shoes, this is the place! These guys are HONEST, REASONABLY PRICED, and put in QUALITY work as if those items belong to them. Highly recommend and will return again for other repairs~

My beloved Michael Kors purse ripped and the shoulder strap wasn’t able to attach anymore. I was highly disappointed and contacted Michael Kors, which they told me to ship the purse to see if the repair would be under warranty or not. It sounded like too much of a hassle so I decided to get it fixed on my own.
I went to Shoe Wiz and was quoted $ 23, which is a bit pricey for something so small but it was TOTALLY worth it. They only took 2 ½ days and my purse looks the same as before. Quick, amazing service plus the men are very sweet and friendly. If I ever have any future problems with my purses, I will be returning. Thank you Shoe Wiz!

I was very pleased to find Shoe Wiz again on Unilocal.I have taken my shoes here several times when they used to be in the Cerritos Mall; I was disappointed to find the store gone, because they always provided great service at a very reasonable price. So I was thrilled to find that they had simply moved across the street! In today’s «throw away» society, it’s really nice to know there are people who still take great pride in craftsmanship, good service and providing great value for the price. If you have a favorite pair of shoes that needs new heels or other work, give them a try.

I really wanted to like this place because I saw all the other amazing reviews but my shoes didn’t even last me for one wear after I got them fixed!
When I came in the gentleman that helped me was extremely friendly and I was very happy with the prices that I was given for my fixes (two shoes for a total of $ 13).
Both my shoes just needed to be glued back to the soles.
They were fixed within 24 hours and when I came back to pick them up they had both also been polished which was a great impression.
Unfortunately upon using my shoes again they both opened back up to the original condition and even further one of my wedge sandal completely came off mid-​walk!!!
Though I was very happy with the customer service and price, I am beyond disappointed by the results and sadly I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I heard about the Shoe Wiz and was looking forward to having some shoes stretched there. However, my daughter presented me with a pair of shoes that she wanted the heels shortened on. I took the shoes there and they were quick to explain that they could only take less than half inch off or else it would affect the integrity of the shoe. I did appreciate their honesty and know-​how. The shoes were ready in 15 minutes and the cost was minimal. They weren’t perfect but they were good, and my daughter was happy with the results.

I was in need of a quick fix on the zipper of some boots I’d gotten months ago. I came in and met an older gentleman named Sam, who was absolutely wonderful. He was sweet and calm and reassuring, explaining everything he was doing to fix my shoes.
Sam is excellent at his work and it was a pleasure to meet him. I’d highly recommend Shoe Wiz for an inexpensive quick fix and good company.

I found out about this place a few years ago thanks to Unilocal,this location was previously at the Cerritos Mall, they relocated across the street basically. Nonetheless the service here has always been great, value of service is definitely fair based on what I see, they’re close to my work, and the work is always finished on time. I would never take my leather shoes elsewhere when in need for service!

I thank God i found them, thats how happy I am with their service! I trusted them with a 3,000 $ Gucci suede purse that had gotten a stain on it, yup they did they brought it back to life! They have done amazing jobs on all my designer shoes and handbags, and I had a mini heart attack when I didnt see them at Cerritos mall, but someone let me know they were across the street by olive garden! They are very honest and fair in pricing, and do an excellent job which to me is whats most important!
