Deluxe Limo & Transportation

We called deluxe limo last minute for a bachelorete party. They were very accommodating and gave us a good deal on really short notice.
The day of the service the driver Wayne came on time and waited for all of us to be ready to leave. One girl was 30 min late and he was very patient with us. He drove us to where we needed to go and was very punctual when ever we called to leave to go to the next spot.
Just want to say thank you for the great service.

I hired this company to take 6 of us on a Hollywood tour. They picked us on time. The limo had 3 waters, some sodas, beer and glass containers had less than an oz each of liquor. The speaker in the back never worked as he was speaking about Hollywood as we were touring we never heard a word of it. We made two three stops to get out and site see. The last stop was The Grove where we had lunch and informed the driver we would be out for lunch and meet him back at 2pm. We got back to the limo it was very hot outside which meant it was even hotter inside the black limo. He opened the door let us in and walked around to the drivers side all the while he was talking on his phone. He continued to talk on his phone while we were inside with no ac. I got out of the limo as it was well over 100 inside and asked him to turn on the ac. He continued his conversation outside. The AC inside never cooled the limo for the entire rest of the tour. We asked him to stop for ice as all the drinks were very hot. We had to ask him again to stop for ice. I think if he knew we were coming back at 2pm he should of turned on the AC a few minutes before and cooled it down for his customers as it was a very hot day. He also should of restocked the ice while we were out so we could of enjoyed a cold beverage as it was very hot that day. Or at the very least carry a cooler in his trunk with extra ice. Instead he had to leave us in the Limo and run into a store to get ice after we begged him several times.
The places he showed us were nice. We would of loved to hear about them also as the small speaker he was using was not working he kept playing with it while driving. He was also texting or playing with his phone most of the time.

I have used this company twice. The first experience was ok but the next experience not so much. For my first trip the van must have been from the early nineties because it was run down, torn vinyl seats, ugly as heck.
I would say use a different company if you can. The owner is a real interesting guy. I guess he does not value manners and customer service. I saw him provoke a customer rather than try and appease him. You would think that an owner would take responsibility and try to make a situation better. Not this one. His vehicles are old and run down. I was praying the vehicle would make it to the destination without breaking down. The second and hopefully last time we used DeluxeLimos was back in April. WE got transported from high desert to valley. The air conditioner did not work in the 25 seat bus. Come on. We live in So Cal.

he is completely unreliable and reliability is something you desperately need on special occasions when you book a limo because these people are holding in there hands the potential to be able to ruin your entire day or evening. Yeah, they may quote you a low price but it’s coming with a gamble on your part. Which is. whether they will actually honor that price in the end, if they will even show up or if they will cancel on you a week before the date. Check the other reviews they’ve done all these things before.

Almost ALL of them are negative.
You are a HORRIBLE company that treats people with absolute disrespect. You can even tell in the way you respond to your X customers on here that you are disrespectful. You don’t once in any of your comments back to us say you are sorry or will even attempt to fix your mistakes.

I needed to set up limo service for my son and 9 others for their homecoming dance. Spoke with Mike who handled all the details with a very satisfactory rate for the night. The driver was on time and very friendly and courteous to the kids. Arrived back to my house at the scheduled arrival time… everyone safe and happy. I would highly recommend Deluxe Limo and Transportation, from set up of the service through the drop off, everything was performed as agreed upon and could not have been a more pleasant experience. I have used Deluxe Limo for several years and always have excellent service. Drivers have always been on time, even with my distant pick up location. I have asked several times for last minute pick ups at LAX and last minute charters and I have always been on time. Several Red Carpet events have been perfect. My only suggestion is to have plenty of ice for the customer. Mike, your drivers have always been professional and courteous to me and my guests. I’ll bee seeing you again in a couple weeks. John

I feel compelled to leave a review because of all these negative reviews. I voiced my concerns with Mike, the owner, when setting up the limo service for 17 of us to go to Malibu from Santa Monica (round trip) for 6 hours at a way below market rate of ~$ 420. The reviews were my main concern. He made a great point that he has been in business for many years and despite all the negative reviews he has been able to be a successful business — I get it.
The driver, Roger, was on time, courteous and very friendly. We had absolutely zero issues and he was prompt to pick us up too. I am very happy with this service and will use them again because of how reliable they were and affordable.

Mike, you are my hero… thank you so much for your understanding and help in this matter for my daughter’s prom. To explain this, I made a reservation with Deluxe Limo for my daughter and her date to be driven to prom. Kathy had given me a very good price for making the reservation on Tuesday and with prom only being only 4 days away but due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, I needed to cancel this morning and thinking the worse was prepared to pay either the whole amount or something for the last minute cancellation. After explaining the problem, Mike was good enough to understand that my daughter should not ride alone and provided me with a zero charge for this last minute cancellation.
I was in absolute surprise and gratitude to him for this big hearted gesture. In today’s world, most businesses would not give you any consideration or flexibility when it comes to «personal issues».
I know without fail that my next phone call for a trip to the airport or any other event that we need to have the «extra car» will be made with Mike and Deluxe Limo

Prom for 16 kids ruined. Driver had canker sore on lip and was socially awkward wouldn’t shake hand because of phobia. Mike the owner took a week to send confirmation he is very dishonest And then escalade that showed up broke down and stranded all the kids at a gas station two miles from original pick up. Don’t used this company Very unprofessional and fleet is out of date. Wish I could give minus stars.

Book a hummer limo for bachelorette party, William the driver was very nice and on time from pick up to drop off. Limo was clean and well stock on ice and water bottle. Would recommend and use the service again

Would not recommend this company at all. Long story short is that we were meant to go on tour of LA but after the limo overheated first up and then broke some sort of shock absorber — thankfully at low speed– would hate to think what would of happened if it had been on the freeway (considering it only had seatbelts for 8 people and we had asked for a limo for 10 people). We then wasted hours waiting for the poor driver to try and contact his boss, who chooses to run his business 7 days but is not available to fix problems. We were assured we would not be charged for this tour — which was the only compensation for a crap day — but my family was charged $ 360 and had to make numerous calls and then received a refund for only $ 200. Totally not acceptable. There is certainly nothing deluxe about this company, it’s limos or its customer service. Avoid at all costs.
The response from mike at deluxe limos is clearly wrong. Unless you’d be happy with a 3 and a half hour tour of the dog park looking at the Hollywood sign for $ 160 and the the waste of your only free day to see LA! Yes they did have to pay another company to take us home — but who’s fault is that?
I will now be reviewing your company on all Australian travel forums. I hope the $ 160 was worth it to your failing company!

These guys ripped me off. Their so called «customer support «said they would refund my money only if I remove my review from here, so I did and then never heard from them again!
These guys are scammers and will rip you off. My advice is use another company!

I heard about Deluxe limo from a friend and decided to try out the service. I used Deluxe limo to take a group of friends to a comedy show in LA and I am pleased to say, I am very happy with the service received.
The manager Mike Girma was extremely helpful and responded to all my calls and emails. The limo ride itself was very pleasant and the driver was very professional and on time. I plan on using the service again and I would recommend Deluxe Limos Service to everyone and anyone looking for a friendly reliable limousine service.

Everything was perfect. Great Day. Driver was on time and extremely courteous. Car was awesome and stocked. Got to destination effortlessly and driver was perfectly placed for pickup. We had a great time and price was right. Thanks Deluxe! Can’t wait for our next big event with you. Marko

I was most disapointed in this company we had 12 children waiting for a birthday party and they Did not show up. We called and got no answer after many phone calls we did speak to someone they agreed to come to a different location. When they arrived at the first location they wanted to charge us the original fee. This place is shady and I do not recommend using their service if it is a special event!!!

F**k this place !!! The WORST customer service !!! We had plans for my niece’s birthday to drive to the coast and come back to her party and these fucking people had us waiting for 3 hrs !!! Mind you if it was up to me I would of Just cancelled but we had kids and they been wanting to ride the limo, whole point we were calling instead of them fuckers but no ! And yet they gave us the stupid excuses for running late … I’m done and never again would I want or tell others about this place !!! Worst EVER !!! Btw they didnt even bother to give me any kind of discount (I rated it because you can’t leave it blank)

Very unprofessional. The manager/​owner Mike Girma has very poor customer service. He makes an offer and once you decide to do business with him he decides to retract it but doesn’t even have the common courtesy to let you know. Did not respond to my email or call. Finally I got him on the phone and he tells me he never received my email or voice message and tells me to send him another email. A week passes, still no response. I know I didn’t have the wrong email address since we corresponded through emails prior to him disappearing off the face of the earth. I emailed him one last time calling him out on his rudness and to let him know I’m taking my business else where. Low and behold he emails me 2 days prior to our scheduled event to let me know that the rental is still available and to deposit the money. EFF that! What nerve he has. I didn’t even respond to that to give him a taste of his own medicine.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AGENCY. SSSSSHHHAAAADDDYYYY.

I used Deluxe Limo to take a group of about 10 people to TAO on New Year’s Eve in a van. No easy task, but the price was doable and the driver got us there faster than expected. The guy I spoke with when making arrangements (owner or manager, I assume) offered me the same rate on the way back, but I declined, since we weren’t sure what time we’d be leaving/​if we would all leave together.
After the event, most of the group went to an afterparty, but I couldn’t hang and wanted to bounce, along with 2 others from the group. We were competing with every raver in LA for cabs, and after trying for about 45 mins, I figured I’d call the driver from Deluxe to see if they had a smaller car available that they could dispatch to us. The driver said he was actually around the corner with the van he dropped us off in. He had a group in the van that he had to drop off about 45 minutes in the opposite direction of my house, but he would take us for a lower price than what he charged on the way there. Yay! He got us home (eventually) and I thought I would be writing Deluxe Limo a 5 star review, until the next day.
At about noon on New Year’s Day, I got a call from the owner/​manager I had made the arrangements with and he started questioning me about how much I had paid to be taken home the night before. When I told him, he scolded me, saying I was supposed to pay the same rate for the ride back with that van. I explained that I had called to see if there was a car available and the driver offered to take us for a lower price. He then continued to yell, accusing me of taking advantage of the driver. After trying to explain that I wouldn’t have taken the ride for only 3 people if it cost the same as it did for 10, especially since there was another group in the van, going to a different city, he stopped me, saying that he didn’t know there was another group in the car. Instead of apologizing, like I thought he would, he yelled even more, saying I should have told him there were more people in the car, and that this was still somehow my fault. At that point, I just hung up.
I understand why at first he may have thought I was taking advantage of the driver who didn’t know how much I was quoted over the phone, but after explaining what happened, he still treated me like I did something wrong. He was overly aggressive and altogether unpleasant to deal with. I’d rather pay a little more and not be spoken to like I’m a criminal.
