Century City Car Care

$ 50 for oil change… And 18 bucks for the battery of car key fob!!! I will NEVER take my car to this place again…

I’ve been bringing my car (s) to Yuval for over 5 years now and will not go anywhere else. He’s always honest, turns the job around quickly, and of course being able to drop your car off and walk to work is huge.
I’ve had two different older Hondas that I’ve brought to him, and he has always helped me decide what to fix and what can wait. Definitely not the type to search for things to fix just to run up your bill. Highly recommended!

I’ve been taking my car here for the past three years, and I am very pleased with the service. My only qualification in my review is that I have no idea about cars and the competitiveness of Century City Car Care’s pricing.
I went to Yuval out of convenience sake because I work in Century City and was tired of the time suck associated with car maintenance. I’ve stayed with Yuval because of his good work and honesty.
From that first time three years ago to today, I have always had a good experience dealing with him. He is extremely professional, thorough and patient in explaining what needs to be done. As for pricing, I have never felt pressured to do a repair, so I’ve never felt like he was just trying to pull one over on a me because I’m a woman. However, I’m not sure if I’m paying Century City prices. For me, I am willing to pay a little extra for a mechanic that I trust and for the convenience.
This week I had to bite the bullet on a few maintenance items that I knew I couldn’t put off any longer. Like I knew my tires were basically rims, and let’s just say I was getting pretty good at the California Roll at the stop signs as I wasn’t that confident in my brakes. I knew it would be a big bill, but then I had to do the timing belt too. I was bummed. I think Yuval sensed this, and threw in some windshield wipers (these were toast too — luckily we don’t get much rain in LA), a car wash (yay!) and even did me a huge favor by finally removing this satellite radio that had been hanging unused off my console (my friend told me that some places charge $ 40 for that!). I can’t promise that if you go there you’ll get those things, but I think it speaks to what mensch he is.
Century City Car Care is really convenient if you work in Century City. You can just drop off your car in the morning and pick it up after work. Yuval is a good guy, and he’s kept my 124,000 mile Honda going strong for the last three years. I won’t go to another mechanic.

Finding an honest mechanic can be a difficult thing and that is what I appreciate most about Yuval and his crew. He was recommended to me by my uncle and we took my car there that failed a smog check. I appreciated the fact that he explained the smog place should have never tested the car because the check engine light was on. He was able to fix it that day and the car passed the smog check the next time I brought it in. Honest, well priced, friendly, and quick. Can’t really ask for much with a mechanic.

I really like Yuval. He’s respectful and has good prices. As a woman, its important to me to have a mechanic who doesn’t talk to me like I’m stupid. The shop is around the corner from my office and I have always been able to drop off and pick the car up on the same day. It makes keeping up with my regularly scheduled service pretty painless.

Let’s just say I did NOT have a good experience here…
After checking out Unilocal for a mechanic close to my work, i went to Century City Car Care to repair my window. My window would not go back up. I was given a price that I was told by another mechanic was too high, but I was desperate and so i accepted. Over the next few weeks, my window continued to periodically not work. I took it back and Yuval said it was checked and I must have had the window lock button on. He looked at me as if I were a complete idiot! COME ON! I KNOW NOT TO HAVE THE WINDOW LOCK BUTTON ON!!! So, i left again, only to have the SAME problem continually occur.
Finally, I took my car to another mechanic who tested the window with some electronic contraption and said there was something wrong with the window for sure and he could fix or just unplug the device that allowed me to roll the window down. So, it was not in my head, Yuval. I paid you for nothing!

My radiator broke and I called AAA, the suggested this place and towed my car there. Yuval is great. He is honest and trustworthy. I have been taking my car there 4 years now and will continue to go. His prices are fair. He backs up his work with a warranty that he abides to. I highly recommend him.

Yuval and his mechanics are the best I have ever encountered. The shop is very convenient (next door to work), and they do excellent work and usually in a day. They always take good care of my vehicles. I was referred to them by a coworker, and haven’t been disappointed yet. I have referred several other coworkers to Century City Care Care, and they have become devoted fans. They are nice people, helpful, and do outstanding work that they stand behind.

The owner Yuval is incredibly honest and helpful. I won’t go to anyone else because I know that when I leave my car with him, everything will be taken care of and I don’t have to worry about anything. He never tries to pressure you to get a bunch of crap you don’t need. Once, when my car was in really bad shape, he gave me a breakdown of what I needed to fix, which ones were the most important priorities, and what each component cost. He encouraged me to decide for myself what I could afford now. You won’t regret going here!

Yuval is the best! I have so many reason why but I am too lazy to write them all down. He was recommended to me by a friend who has used his shop for years. So honest, so nice. I have told all of my friends with car troubles to go to him and they are all Yuval devotees now too!

This is for everyone, but especially for the girls out there… you know what I’m talking about… a female walks into a mechanic’s shop and instantly feels like someone wrote the word «Sucker» on her forehead. Well, I found a mechanic for you! About 2 months ago, my car was towed to Century City Car Care and I met Yuvall, the manager/​owner. I was shocked at how nice he was and that he followed it up with knowledge, honesty and lower than expected prices! He told me what he thought was wrong with my car, proved to me why the other mechanics were full of it, and fixed it that day! Two months later, I haven’t had any problems with my car that’s pushing 100,000 miles. He even washed it afterwards… inside and out! I don’t know about you, but that has NEVER happend to me before… needless to say, Yuvall is awesome and I will definitely go back even though his location is not very convenient to where I live. Trust me on this one, your car and wallet will thank you.
