We opened this business to help customers that had been abandoned by previous shops, finish their projects. Usually the shop in question gives an unrealistic quote due to lack of experience, or they lie to get your car in their shop so they can hold it for ransom until the real price is paid. A basic restoration job takes around 700 hours of labor to complete. A legitimate shop needs at least $ 70 an hour, or $ 49,000.
