This place is TRASH when it comes to their recycling machines. They barely work and no matter how much people complain; they give you an excuse like«We wish it was easy to replace them.» How many times did this dump change their name? They can’t afford new machines but they can afford to change names and relabel products? Good thing the prices are decent, I wouldn’t shop here

Great store. Clean. Never really crowded but one thing must change and it’s the cheap bags they have! They rip so easily. Can the company get sturdier bags? The employees are very nice though and they play good music at times. Shelves are well stocked.

Horrible experience @ stop and shop. My friend bought some leafs. And they would not ring up, correctly. After about 20 min another lady came over and told her to enter leafs as collard greens. All was over and we were on are way to checkout, receipt was curiously high. After inspection of the receipt it appeared my friend spent 100 big ones on leafs. Cashier was unable to undo this and we had to proceed to checkout and return the items after waiting on a customer service line. 45 min checkout and counting.

Fairly massive supermarket with a fairly decent selection of products and fairly high prices to go with that selection. Frozen veggies are often stupidly expensive, and forget about cereal — stick to Trader Joe’s for your grain needs. The meat department isn’t bad, and the deli area is large and staffed by very helpful people who will go out of their way to help you out.

Convenient as heck smack in the center of a large lot, anchored by the Mongolian Buffet and D&Bs/Walmart, it seems that every attractive young working woman who happens to be in the vicinity winds down their weekday here. They boast a more formidable and complete selection than other Stop&Shops, shorter lines, and young and blasé(friendly once engaged) staff who were pleasantly quick and refreshingly efficient assisting at the self checkout. Contrary to some listings for this S&S, the place is certainly still open(and definitely in Islandia, not CI), though I’d understand if the handwritten signs in the window gave the impression that the place was gonzo.
