History

Established in 1918.

In 1918, with the partnership of Bradford and Routsong, the firm was formed. Following a reorganization in 1952, Routsong Funeral Homes has grown to our present size through adherence to our principles, which are to present the options available to families, and to faithfully fulfill their wishes with conscientious service.

Carl T. Routsong was the founder of Routsong Funeral Home. His son, Thomas H. Routsong, joined the firm in 1952. His wife, Martha joined the business in 1979 when she received her funeral director’s license. Their son, Thomas A. Routsong, also joined the business in 1979 and purchased the business from his father is 2002. Today, Thomas A. Routsong and his wife Lisa, who will receive her funeral directors license in 2011, run the three-generation family-owned and operated business, assisted by sons Sam and Max.
