History

Established in 1978.

We started as a small family owned and operated butcher shop and have grown to four gourmet markets and two catering companies thanks to local discerning palates that can taste the difference that quality makes!

Business Owner

I began at the age of 9 working in a small Italian corner market in Detroit earning $ 3 a week and became the richest kid in Detroit. Interrupted only by a call to the Army, I have been in the grocery business all my life.

My specialty in the meat industry rose in the 1960’s as my wife and I were raising our family and I dreamed of owning my own meat market. I told the kids we could all work together. Well, with the help of those very same kids, we have exceeded my expectations! Since 1978, it has been a great honor for us to be part of your daily meals, special events and holiday gatherings.
