Hi, I’m Cath, the owner and sole provider of Deep Heeling Barefoot Bodywork. What really inspires me about deep tissue massage is how profoundly it improves people’s lives. Performing high-​volume massage in a spa environment left me with chronic low back and shoulder pain. Receiving regular deep tissue massage helped me heal those injuries, so I know it works. I only offer deep tissue massage because I cater to clients who want more than relaxation from their massage sessions; they want less pain and more freedom of movement.

I graduated from Cottonwood School of Massage in 1999. What keeps me engaged after all this time is building relationships with my clients as we work together to create the best quality of life possible. This requires understanding your needs, dedication to your goals and delivering results.

Cath is great! I have various different issues because of a car accident. And life in general that Cath has worked on whenever I need it. I have found that regular massage keeps me comfortable. And because her prices are really affordable she makes this easy! I was a bit fearful at First. With the feet. But she can go as deep or as light as you need. She asked and listens… She can also do targeted massage In a more traditional manner. That’s great too! So glad I found her!

I had gone to Cath as a recommendation from my acupunturist (?), and have gone at least twice a month since. Aside from her being a wonderful person, this is the best massage I’ve gotten in a long time. I always leave there feeling much better than I had when I walked in.

I’ve had maybe 250+ massages over the last 20 years with 60+ massage therapists. I have had ~6 sessions with Cath over the last 6 months because of her unusual Ashiastsu «feet» massage technique. I was surprised that it was way deeper without discomfort in the glutes and hamstrings… massage with hands or elbows simply is unable to go that deep comfortably. I’ve hired some of the students that Cath has taught at DSMT massage school and she has an excellent reputation there. While I have massage therapists who work for me, her experience and unique technique will keep her busy and keep me coming back. I would definantly recommend her. Shane

I recently purchased the Get Deep Massage Groupon for my dad who loves deep tissue massages. Needless to say he LOVED IT!!!
He has lots of back problems and the massage therapist was incredible. –So genuine and nice to talk to. He left feeling relaxed and much better after his massage.
Next-​Level Customer Service:
The massage therapist (her name eludes me right now) even took the time to call me the next day to check on him!?! –Who does that?! I’ve NEVER had a massage therapis ever take that extra step, which totally warmed my heart and made my dad feel even more taken care of.

Hands (or feet) down, the best massage I have ever had! We got a groupon to come in and I just thought it would be fun, and something new to try. It won me over, I won’t be having a traditional massage again if I can avoid it, because this one was much better!
The feet apply a more steady pressure than a hand, where you would just have pressure from a thumb or finger and it’s kind of a stabby pressure, this is an even wonderful pressure.
The massage therapist was wonderful! She was very friendly, and a super happy person who didn’t make anything awkward or uncomfortable at all. If you are considering it, do it!
