Davis Training Boot Camp

I recently moved to the Sarasota area and researched exercise classes in the area. I think this boot camp definitely deserves 5-​stars if not more! It was such a positive experience and Sean and Nikki are very knowledgeable instructors and great motivators. I definitely have seen results in the last month of class!

Best thing I ever did! I regularly play team sports but was looking for an overall workout. I don’t like working out at the gym on the machines. I tried Crossfit last year and hated the fact I needed to compete with people 20 years younger than me (same workout, same times), the extensive barbell weight lifting, and the excruciating week-​long pain I felt afterward. So, I was searching for a fitness/​boot camp class near work and with a lot of flexible, class times. My friend recommended Davis Training, so I tried it. After the first day, I was hooked! The workouts are always fun and very different. The environment is very supportive. And, I work to my own ability — modifying if I need to. I compete with myself, alongside my fellow gym goers. Love it!

I first went to Davis bootcamp over 2 years ago, but now have consistently went for the last year. Sean and Nikki do an AWESOME job. I have tried a lot of the bootcamps in the area and this one by far is the best. One of the many things I love is the varied workouts. Each workout is unique and unlike 24 hour fitness, where you have the workout memorized, you instead get variety and time flies by. Also the workouts are by far better than any other ones I have done.

The new ownership is much better than it previously was. Good workouts.

I signed up with Davis Training boot camp recently and couldn’t be more pleased! TOUGH and CHALLENGING. Every day that I am driving to the boot camp, I have to keep reminding myself that all I have to do is show up! These workouts are not easy but the atmosphere is very positive and encouraging and that is what keeps me going.

Still 5 stars! I’d give more if I could!
I was sad to see my month end. I absolutely adore Sean and Nikki. If this place weren’t so far out of my way I would have signed up for a membership in a heartbeat. I felt stronger and in shape at the end of it– if I had been good about going more than 3x a week I would have definitely seen more results.
Highly recommended for those of you looking to get a great workout, in a supportive, motiviating group atmosphere.

So I decided to try this place when they offer they’re amazing one month Groupon deal. I’d never done a boot camp before and thought it might be just what I need to take my work outs to the next level. That is exactly what it did. I had been working out regularly for 3 months and was starting to get burnt out on going to the gym by myself and doing relatively the same routine everyday. After my first day I knew this was going to be a challenge, because it kicked my butt. After the second day, I was ready to give up and was sure I was dying. I decided to take the next day off and went back the following day. Surprisingly after the 3^rd day it got better. Not easy, but better. Sean is surely going to work you out and help motivate you to push yourself more than you would on your own. The other people in the class are just as nice and motivating, it’s a great environment to work out in. In the beginning I couldn’t wait until I completed my month, but now I’m sad to see it coming to an end. I’ve really enjoyed my experience here.

so… I’ll have to update this later (maybe day 31?), but I’m 2 days into my 30 days unlimited workouts at Davis training, and i’m feeling it already (in a good way!) The couple (sean and nichole) are super nice, but definitely with a hardcore edge that makes you want to work out hard. I’m (working on) rockin’ the 630AM session, because it’s nice to have the workout done for the day, the class size is small, and they are still tweaking the workout so its a solid level of tough.
As a friend of mine said to me, Boot Camp is just Crossfit without the affiliation. I’ll agree that it’s definitely got the circuit/​speed/​pushing, but luckily it doesn’t have the power-​lifting. Hopefully it will also have the results!
So far though, so good, and I’ll recommend it to people that want to make the jaunt to Centennial.
