Carter’s Automotive

After going to Firestone and calling a few other auto repair shops I found carter’s automotive on Unilocal.I initially called for an estimate on a valve cover gasket. Carter and his team invited me to bring my car by so he could look under the hood. They quoted me 50% of what the other shops quoted on the valve cover gasket and he was able to spot a leak in my power steering. I didn’t even mention to him that I just topped off my power steering a few days earlier. Carter automotive will be fixing both problems for roughly the same price that I would have paid if I went somewhere else. I highly recommend using them for their excellent customer service and knowledge in the industry. I have found my new go to auto mechanic. A+ service. If you have a problem with your vehicle it would be in your best interest to give them a call as well. Thank you Carter Auto Repair!!!

As a single woman, I searched for someone who I thought would be honest & reasonable & trustworthy. I am SO HAPPY that I found Carter’s! Cassie & Carter were exactly the kind of people & shop I was looking for. It was recommended by a coworker of my moms. My mom & I have both taken our vehicles to Carters and between the two, have had exhaust repaired & replaced, brakes all around, a starter, a clutch and replaced plugs and wires. Every job has been reasonably priced, competitive & the work has been excellent. Less than 48 hours after picking up my truck, I was on my way home from work when smoke started pouring out of my hood. I called Carter immediately; he called for a tow & replaced a hose that had a small hole in it. Less than 2 hours after my ordeal started, I was picking my truck back up. I highly recommend This place for any car repairs!!!

Carter’s always provides a great service and never try to sell you anything you don’t need. I live on the other side of town but it’s still worth it to make the drive to have any work done here.

Carter did a great job repairing my Honda. They quote that they gave to me over the phone was accurate. Cassie was friendly as always and kept me in the loop regarding how the repairs were progressing. They even honored a coupon that I had which saved me $ 100. Great job guys!

Honest hard working people that offer a fair deal and in a very timely manner. You may have to make an appt, as we line up, but every time I have been in there, the customers are all repeat customers and all are known by their first name. Great shop, great people, great prices, and accurate diagnosis and repair tops it off… Definitely recommend.

Carter’s automotive is extremely honest. I took my Jeep in to Carter’s to check what I thought was a broken bearing, which was causing an awful shudder and noise when when I braked. He took the wheel apart, drove it and didn’t notice the noise. When he took the wheel apart it must have fixed the problem. He told me to bring the Jeep back if the problem came back but he wasn’t going to charge me for anything since he only did an estimate. I will be back when my Jeep has any other problem.

I have had some work done here and I felt so welcome in this shop. Cassie was super friendly and the work got done in a timely fashion and right at the quoted price. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
