Evolve Bicycles & E-bikes

I went to Evolve for renting a road bike. These guys were great to rent from! They delivered the rental bike right to Disney’s Polynesian Resort Hotel. I brought my pedals and equipment. They even invited me to local group rides, that I did ride on, really nice people down there! The bike was nice, a carbon Litespeed, in perfect shape with some decent tires, ‘Gator skins’ or similar, (I don’t know what it is about Florida roads but they are hell on bike tires, especially compared to Michigan.) They also have a great shop and store, so if you just need a great bike shop they’re the place. Thanks guys!

A well organized placed. They have pretty much all styles of bicycles for those that cycle. They also sell accessories and add the accessories to your bicycle. I was impressed on how nice, knowledgeable the gentleman was in explaining and demonstrating the bicycles. I will definitely come back to bring my fixie for a tune up, change the handlebar, and perhaps debate if I’m going to keep it fixed or not… If you have any concerns about your bicycle, these guys will find the solution.

My Stroller tires went flat at the airport. For $ 36, they put in 3 new tubes and saved my vacation. It was a $ 40 round trip from the hotel. I do not have a car with me. They were fast and very helpful.

This bike shop has excellent customer service and quick repair times. I have brought my bike into this shop twice for repairs. The staff treated me like a friend and charged me very fair prices for the repairs. Both times they were able to fix my bike in less than the time it took me to get a smoothie from a local shop. I will be a regular here, even for repairs I could do myself like tires and tubes, because they always use quality products, charge a fair price, and complete the job quickly.

Excellent customer service. I rented one their bikes and joined one of their early AM group rides. They were very good about watching over the group, splitting us up into 2 groups of different speeds so no one got dropped. Super friendly and a good bunch of guys. Highly recommended.

Worst bike store in Florida. This people really have the worst customer service in town. My friend and I went into the store and were trying to shop for a bike and asking different questions, but still unsure of what kind of bike we really wanted to get. The moment the manager Kevin realized we were not going to actually purchase a bike right in that visit, he started saying we were wasting his time and insulting us. We could not believe the lack of customer service and rudeness from this manager. If he was having a bad day, it was no excuse to treat my friend and I with such of disrespect. My friend I I will take our business to a bike store that actually cares for their customers. Evolve Bicycles & E-​bikes have no business being open for business, if they keep disrespecting and treating customers like dirt.

I rented a Cannondale Synapse from Evolve Bicycles while I was in Orlando for 5 days.
I had a great experience! Roger, the owner, is a great guy, I loved chatting with him.
The week-​long rental price comes with delivery and pick up of the bicycle from my location, and the best part of my experience was that Roger arrived with the bicycle — and showed up to pick up the bicycle — at the exact time and place I designated (actually, he showed up early). The bike was great, he didn’t forget a single thing.
All this is no small feat. I’ve come to expect people to screw things up, show up late, etc.
Evolve Bicycles provided exactly what they advertised, at the time and place of my choosing, for the exact quoted price. No drama, no surprises, just great consistent service.
I would use them again in heartbeat and recommend them to anyone interested in a bike rental.

The team here did a great job helping me back on the road after my bike was damaged on the flight to orlando… felt super fortunate to have found this shop. Team was amazing — made time to help me out last minute late friday afternoon, tried super hard to find replacement parts, and ultimately put together an amazing bike rental so that I could still train in the sun before heading back north. Can’t say enough about the team — great people who genuinely made me feel welcome. In addition to bikes for sale /​parts /​service… they have some really great bikes to rent and take care of a number of visiting athletes for local events.

We rented four bikes for our weeklong stay at our timeshare. The bikes were excellent. They delivered the bikes to our resort and picked them up at the end of our stay. Everyone at Evolve was helpful and nice. Each adult size bike came with a zippered bike bag and a lightweight bike lock. They have helmets if you need them. When staying at the larger timeshare resorts, having a bike to ride around the grounds is great.

We had an issue with a tire on our stroller. The great people there fixed our issue easily and got us on our way quickly much to our delight! Very knowledgable, caring, and service with a smile. Would highly recommend!

I’m writing this review as both A bike shop manager for over years and a professional road racer. So please take this for exact what it is, a scathing review…
My team mate needed a BB30 bottom bracket and three bike boxes to ship bikes home from our team camp near by. When we called ahead of time to ask about the parts and boxes we were assured that they had all four items and would be able to cut a steer tube as well. So we drove over.
When we arrived we stood around for ten minutes or so with out being greeted. Wen we finally got the attention of the staff we were rushed through our conversation like we were an annoyance. Once we got the chance to ask for the price of the BB we were told it would be $ 46 plus installation! First of all. BB bearings don’t cost that much, ever. I’ve only bought them a few hundred times, take my word on it.
So we passed ad asked for the boxes. Nope. No boxes could be had. They were too busy and didn’t want I take any out of the box. Even though they said they could. We were obviously annoying the three man staff. They all appeared flustered and down right annoyed at our needs.
So we left not daring to ask how much it would be to cut the steer tube.
We decided to not waste the trip per and get some ice cream next door. As we sat around and ate we chatted about our experience as my teammate has also worked in shops for a long time. Then the kicker. The mechanic who didn’t have time for us came rolling around the building on a shop bike. Asked us how much we would pay for bearings. We told him we knew how much they actually cost. He said he would make us a deal. Thinking we would get up an go inside we stood up. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the bearings and said $ 30. When we asked him if he could install them he said «nooo». We looked at each other in disbelief an declined to buy the bearings. It’s felt like a shady drug deal.
It’s a shame to be treated so poorly at a bike shop when in need a it’s even more of a shame to know how the owner is obviously being ripped off by his trusted employee. Sorry dude, you go this coming.

Great place. They had all I needed and provided it with great service and excellent knowledge of triathlon and cycling. Impressive team!

I am from DC and was in town for the Horrible Hundred (a 100 mile bike ride done yearly in Orlando). Kevin and your staff were so good to me when I visited your store. They helped fix my cadence sensor and got my bike in great shape for the ride.
Moreover, they recommended a short warmup ride which got me ready for Sunday. I felt so good that I rode my bike from Kissimmee to Clermont and ended up doing about 115 miles.
Keep up the great work!

Rented casual bikes from this friendly staff at a great price and had an amazing afternoon in Celebration. Would highly recommend biking along the golf course and then to ‘downtown’ Celebration. Very beautiful.

My boyfriend and I were competing in Half Ironman Florida in Haines City and needed threaded CO2 on Saturday of the day before the race. There are no bike stores open on Saturday past 5:00pm in a 20 mile radius around Haines City. We called Evolve in hopes that we would catch someone. Kevin was working late on a bike and said he would keep the shop open late for us to get the threaded CO2 needed for the race. He stayed late so that we could purchase the CO2! When we arrived, Kevin had the CO2 ready for us to purchase and smile. He saved our race and made our day. Thank you Evolve for being 100 percent committed to the customer needs (even after hours on a Saturday). When we are back in Florida, we will have to carve out time to rent bikes from you. Your service went well beyond what we expected. Thank you!

Purchased a (quality time birthday gift) Living Social bike rental for two hours. Our ride around Celebration was enhanced by wonderful weather and fun company. Our ElliptiGO bikes were a first time try out for us both and mastering it came pretty easy for me — luckily.
Both bikes (and the included head gear) were brand new condition and the requested: «how to ride this thing???» orientation was through, but the traffic in the store area made for a bit of a stressful necessity.
I recommend this as a low key workout and psyche reboot. Once out of the shopping area you can really enjoy the unique small town area flavor of Celebration.
The light outdoor lunch afterward at Mulligan’s Pub really put the event into a «really glad I did this «check off the bucket list «category!
Mission accomplished! Fond memories that we’ll retain for decades to come.

If you’re heading to the Disney /​Orlando area and have biking needs, definitely give Evolve a call /​email. The group was very attentive and accomodating to my needs. I came down for a conference at Disney in early February (and wanted to get some road cycling in during my spare time) and from the first emails between Kevin and I thru to when Roger picked up the rental from the resort I was staying at it, it was a pleasent experience.
The charge for delivery /​pickup to my resort was reasonable. My only critique (and hence, 4 instead of 5 stars) would be that the rental rate for the week was a tad higher than I would have liked to pay. Otherwise, the bike (Cannondale Synapse) was in excellent condition and fit like a glove.

Visiting Disney World when our stroller tire blew out. We would have been up a creek but the guys at the shop fixed us up in no time. They were super friendly and easy on the wallet too. I would recommend them to anybody.
