Poppa’s temporary home…
Pretty standard for a nursing home type facility; splendid smell comes at no extra charge. There’s a lot of coughing, a lot of «help me, help me» and a few strange patients including, but not limited to a) the whistle guy who, you guessed it, is ALWAYS whistling, b) the lady with purple headphones who just turned 100 who wants to know who drew the «no smoking» sign and c) the lady who repeatedly asks, «what if there’s a fire?»
Cool place, but let’s hope Poppa (what I call my Grandpa) can return home soon. Until then, bring on the wheelchairs, hand sanitizer, oxygen tanks, and crazy cute old people.
