Lived here for six months. Small crowded space. Noisy neighbors who three parties every day. Yet when my boyfriend comes home from his late night job WE get complaints in the morning. One woman would nearly come up every couple of weeks to tell us we were loud despite the fact that we would be sleeping. Horrible awful place.

The staff and the pool are really nice at this location. The trash issue is completely out of control. Trash is always piled up every single week outside the dumpsters. And valet waste the trash company that used to pick up the trash Almost Never takes the trash when they’re supposed to. I will also be leaving a bad review for valet waste.
Update. Valet waste doesn’t have a Unilocal page. How convenient…

I cannot WAIT to move out!!! The other night my truck was stolen with my garage door opener and gate key. 1. I work in San Antonio, my fiancée lives in San Antonio so being bound to this expensive lease where if I were to sleep in my bed, I can hear my next door neighbor snoring is a basic level of irritation. Having to put up with the mice because of all trash thrown and piled up high because we do not have enough trash bins. But this is really what has sent me over. 2 nights ago, my truck was stolen while eating at a restaurant. I cannot even begin to express how incredibly horrible my day was yesterday. To top it off, I was worried a little about about my security because my garage door opener that goes into the apartment was taken, as well as my keys and my clicker. I am in San Antonio and because of work, I cannot get back into town until later this afternoon and will be staying there over the weekend. Being a little concerned about my safety, I turned in a work order to for garage door code to be changed out as well as a different key made. Below is the response I received. I have had to cancel several forms of payment, itemize everything that was in the truck and will be coming up with deductables. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Once the items are paid for on your resident account we can enter the request to have them completed and ready for you to pick up once you get back in town.

So it’s Christmas time and I am pretty appalled at the fact we received our move out statement with a random charge of $ 134.00 to do a pet treatment when I swear on the bible itself that we didn’t have a single pet the entire time we lived there! For all I know a maintenance guy had a dog pee there so they could get money? I don’t know. But also I can vouch for the fact that when we first moved in, for a brand new apartment with only one tenant before us, it was dirty as hell for the high price we were paying. There was dog hair literally EVERYWHERE, and I had horrible allergies so I had to have them come clean it again but the carpet was still COVERED in dog hair even after I watched them power vacuum. And it was in the tub too. So I can’t fathom how they have pictures of a pee spot. I have no way to prove otherwise so I was forced to fork over a hundred dollars.
Renters beware.
The only reason I gave it two stars is because it’s a little better than where I’m at now and there’s nothing anyone can do.

Management and maintenance always seem pleasant and they pretty much take care of all my requests

We were in a transitional state — house sold, new build was not ready, so apartment living it was! When we submitted the application, it was warm and fuzzy, great staff, etc. The longer we lived there, the less of that we experienced. First of all, part of the front office staff turns over quickly — we had a 6 month lease and saw 3 different female leasing agents — they all seemed nice enough. The male leasing agent was helpful, but not at all warm and friendly. The assistant manager would only make eye contact with you if she was the only one around — but okay over the phone and somewhat helpful — just seemed like she had better things to do. During our stay, we saw the manager 2 times — once at a resident event and the other was the top of her head through the window in her office. I didn’t make it a habit to go in more than dropping off my rent, but I would think I’d see her around more than that. The maintenance staff was always helpful and on time. Here’s the thing though, there were a lot of issues while we were there, so seeing them all the time is not necessarily a good thing. Small stuff like new smoke alarms (side note: residence have to provide the batteries when said smoke alarm goes off in the middle of the night because the cheap batteries they had in it decided to go out) to big stuff like mold in and around our shower — EWWWE! Replacement batteries should not be a residence responsibility seeing as how they are there temporarily living there and batteries are supposed to last 7 years in a smoke alarm, but whatever. I was also told by another resident who lived closer to the dumpsters that they had rats to deal with. GROSS and unacceptable! Also, no one ever cleans up after their dogs even though bags are provided for those dogs.
Upon moving out, we were charged a $ 20 fee for fan cleaning and an oven cleaning. I’m not sure how that isn’t part of the regular cleaning or included in our cleaning deposit. That seems like a ripoff to me, since I A) did clean those fans while cleaning before leaving and B) cleaned out the oven as well and C) paid a deposit and D) received said fans and oven in a similar state.
In a nutshell, I’m pretty sure any apartment living isn’t all that great. But with the price of their rent and the so called «upscale apartment living» they promote, I expected much more.

Nice place to live. Management quickly addresses any issues. Friendly staff and neighbors seem to be very nice. We love the location which is central to many services.

Great property! Maintenance staff is always prompt and friendly. Fun community events. The traffic at the entrance can be loud and they need to install speed bumps.

Living at the Allure has been the best apartment living that we have experienced. The grounds are beautiful with great amenities, but the best part is the staff! The leasing agents and maintenance staff are all extremely helpful!

I absolutely love these apartments. I have been here for several months and I have nothing to complain about. The staff is absolutely amazing, nice, and very attentive to all requests. The maintenance staff is excellent and so prompt in fixing anything needed and always with a smile. I can honestly say that I truly recommend this place. These apartments are clean and very nice with great amenities.

The Allure does a great job keeping residents in the loop without overwhelming emails. They’re focused on building a better community, so everyone has a chance to participate in something that fits them.

Doing a great job, keep it up! Staff friendly and clean surroundings. I love all the amenities, location, finishings, and accessibility of the property.

Great apartment complex with an amazing two pool and cabana. Staff is great. The inside lounge area, business center and fitness center is awesome. Everything is very clean. The mailboxes are in a convenient place.

Let me start off by saying that I never post on Unilocal,in fear of being one of those petty complainers, however, I do want to share my very short interaction with the front office. I came on Unilocal just to see if the concerns I had were valid, turns out they are. I came to this complex in a rush one day after work because I live as far south of Austin as possible, but I work near 183 and research, so I had the intention of minimizing trips. I showed up to the complex 15 min before close, which I understand is cutting it close. I walked in the door the girl standing in the office just looked at me and said not one word until I said «hello». She then responded, in a very rude tone of voice, «Can I help you?», she gave me some spiel about how she could not show me an apartment because they close in 15 min, and seemed very put out but our interaction. I have lived in probably 4 or 5 different apartment complexes in Austin and have never heard of this practice. I understand that they may have a policy for things like this, and I respect that. However, the girl in the front was very very rude. I left feeling pretty disappointed because I had looked forward to viewing these apartments all day. I had the thought to call the manager and explain my experience in hopes of being reassured that the rudeness is not a normal practice, but when I looked the place up on Unilocal,I quickly saw all the negative reviews about the office staff and how rude they are. I thought I should share me experience, in hopes of sparing other potential leasee’s the rudeness.

We have been living here for a year now and we had decided to definitely not to renew our lease due to all the negative experiences we faced with past management over this last year. Nevertheless we noticed new management just joined a couple of weeks ago and we decided to let them know what happened in the past just so she was aware of how residents felt about it.
Candice Stark is the new site manager and she has exceeded our expectations. She was not only professional about it, but she showed care, respect and empathy. After talking to her we have just decided to renew our lease because we noticed a huge difference on the managerial style. This shows she really cares about residents and I know this will be a positive impact in our complex. Me and my wife are moving to a bigger size unit with a worth lease contract here at The Allure again.

We’ve been very disappointed. We feel it’s overpriced for what you get. Management tries their best but falls short. Would benefit from some customer service training. Maintenance is reliable.

Exactly as I expected. I got an email back from the company after I emailed them a complaint. The woman assumed we were trespassing teenagers and lashed out at us, and then told a warped version of the story to her supervisor to try and put the blame on us. A completely separate story, but I also toured these apartments about a year ago when I first moved here and there was a bat in the model apartment. How does that even happen? This property is a mess, don’t let the nice buildings trick you. I’ve only toured here once, and it’s caused me this much trouble. Don’t bother with it.

Well, I have two friends that live there but I recently moved out. This is one of those places that look great from the outside with a luxurious pool… but don’t let them fool you… this place is one of the most lousiest complexes I have lived at.
First…this complex was built too fast… many of the residents have complained (I know because I have spoken with many residents) that their roofleaks… so they had to call in roofers_​to repair the roofs. Yet they still leak! My two friends have asked management repeatedly to fix the roof because they leak into the apartment, mainly thru the bathroom vent… one of these apartment reps actually had the audacity to ask «are you sure it’s not moisture from the vent»…wow…when you have to put a bucket on top of the toilet and it gets almost halfway full when it rains, I don’t think that is moisture.
At one point they took down the online payment section yet, it was difficult to pay your rent because they would open late and close early and not open on weekends, plus to top it all off, they had no drop box! They finally put the online feature back but the management there really sucks… and the complex does to. The ladies in the front office are rude and really don’t seem to give a damn. They just recently change management so let’s see how they do.
These apartments are expensive as well… mine cost me 1050 a month… the walls are thin, you can hear very clearly your neighbor next to you and there’s more to tell…
My apartment was located near the fitness room and pool… well for that high rent price, they don’t even have reserved parking for their priority tenants. Since I live near the pool, when I get home from a hard days work… I can’t find a parking because (and this is a fact) many of the parking is taken up by visitors to the pool and to neighbors, but mainly to the pool… we have actually sat there and watched this… this is ridiculous. There should be one reserved parking for all residents.
I used to live at the Villas at TechRidge right off of I35 at Pflugerville… and at least those apartments had doublepane windows_​, and same size apartments with the same amenities for 850 a month… ugh! Why did I move! Bad mistake!
Plus, I could leave the air_​conditioner off all day and come back knowing my apartment would stay cool. In these Allure apartments, I leave the air-​conditioner off all day and it is hot inside when I come home.
The security doesn’t take care of the pool area so people_​party in the pool until odd hours in the morning with no respect for other residents. Also, anyone can jump in the pool… they are not secured, anyone can reach over and unlock the pool gate.
The water is low pressure in the shower and toilet… so I have to flush often and I can’t take a quick shower because the water is low pressure, so it takes a while to wash the soap from my body.
Basically the only amenities are a nice pool, trash pickup and it is close to HEB. Other than this… just because they are situated near a nice neighborhood… the price is too high… don’t be fooled… these apartments are NOT worth the price. If you don’t believe me… ask the residents yourself and see if they are truly happy there.
Finally, the internet here is bad… it cuts off at random and slow sometimes… I asked a couple of other residents and they have the same issue.

Ok, this place is a high end dump. Two times in the summer while it was over 100 degrees my air conditioning went out. Since the cold weather has hit, my windows have been leaking like a sieve. The carpet in the second bedroom smells like mold now. I have a dog and I do pick up after it, others in the community are not so considerate. My daughters are actually afraid to play in the grassy areas.
They overcharge for the size of the apartments. They make clerical errors on your rent invoice; One-​month water is $ 1.21, next month it’s $ 62.00 dollars because they made a mistake but only offer an explanation if you ask for one. Now they are trying to force residents to pay on-​line with a convenience fee of 2.2%. Save your money and move to some of the other complexes in the neighborhood.

I went with my brother to find him an apartment. After visiting several apartments and having so so and BAD experiences, Allure really stood out.
The two reps inside were busy but immediately greeted us and said they would be right with us. We checked out the club house and were surprised with a warm modern area. An Allure rep named Stacey found us and was incredible nice. She ACTUALLY LISTENED TO US and showed us multiple floor plans based on my brother’s needs and wants.
Stacey met several big points for me that most apartment pushers aren’t interested in:
1) Price. She understood my brother’s max budget and didn’t try to push it.
2) She listened to our questions and didn’t interrupt us.
3) Stacey answered EVERY question.
4) Walked the complex with us showing us the floor plans we were interested in while being sociable and engaging.
5) Funny. Polite.
This complex is BRAND NEW. Seriously. It’s still being built. They didn’t skimp at this place. The inside of the apartments are fresh, modern and inviting. They are AFFORDABLE with move in specials. The pool is being built and the architect drawings are beautiful. So, after visiting five other complexes i’m incredible pleased to say you can visit my brother at the Allure pool this summer (hopefully I’ll be there too).
