Staff was very helpful and patient. I was nervous when I read the other reviews but was glad we went. I do wish the selection of sizes in each style was better. This seems to be a common theme with kids shoes but kids aren’t in these shoes for very long so I can see why stores don’t carry tons and tons of shoes. Associate came up with some great alternatives for us and we walked out with multiple pairs.

I love this location at the lake line mall. I’ve been coming here for about 18 months with my now two year old. The staff is always super friendly, is very gentle with my son as they measure his feet and are helpful selecting shoes with us. They gave my son a little sticker to distract him while we paid and left as happy campers. We typically buy shoes on sale($ 20) but their shoes feel expensive at regular prices.

Love the shoes but staff not so much my son has wide feet always has go in to get the next size up and they don’t have it in wide so they tell me let’s measure his feet so they do and tell me he is not wide anymore go ahead buy the shoes and he wears them fir a day and they are horribly tight and cause my son pain should have known they were just trying to make a sale. Frustrating will go back to domain location next time zoo worth the drive.

This experience was terrible. They measured my sons foot wrong and then proceeded to tell me his foot hanged. Really? Too bad I believed her that his foot wasn’t so wide anymore and now he has shoes that leave blisters. Also, I felt the sales staff in general was not very polite and bordered on rude at times. We asked for a whole variety of shoes and none of which did they have in stock despite my flexibility on sizing. This sore was a waste of my time an money. I would rather drive out of my way for a better store and I live about 5 minutes away!

Poor customer service. Went twice in one week. The first time the associate didn’t know what a «turn cuff» sock was and then I pointed to the turn cuff socks they sell. sells socks advertised with a fabric content of 90% cotton, 5% spandex, and 5% nylon. The only sock they had with that fabric count in the store, because I myself had to look, were the crew socks and the associate could not tell me if they would be getting any of the turn cuff style in with that fabric count. Then she told me that if I bought socks and changed my mind that I could not return them even if they had not been worn. No where in the return policy does it say that you cannot return socks. So I decided not to get any though I really wanted to try them for my daughter because they are advertised as having a comfort seam at the toe. Then I went back two days later to get the socks and there were no associates on the floor. They were in the back and I called to them at lease five times. I could hear them talking and they would stop talking when they heard me and finally one of them said they were coming and when she came out of the back, she looked at me like I was bothering her. She asked what I wanted. I said never mind and left.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience in recent memory… After waiting 20 minutes for my daughter’s feet to be measured, the sales associate ditched us to help another customer. After 10 minutes, we asked if she’d found the shoes. It was obvious that she’d forgotten us, but she claimed that they had none of the(3!) pairs or shoes in my daughter’s size. She did not apologize or offer to look for an alternative. I might add that there were only 2 customers in the store, including us. When I sent an email to corporate customer service, I was basically blown off as well. This company makes great shoes, but unfortunately their customer service is subpar, at best. Stride Rite has lost our family as customers!

Got young kids? Get their shoes here — seriously, they are some of the best made shoes and the staff makes sure you get a pair that fits. Slingshot sneakers are super comfy(so i’m told) and wear very well. Check out the sales, our last visit netted a $ 50 pair of shoes for $ 20 with a $ 5 off coupon for our next purchase. They’re also really good about calling other stores to find a particular color/size if they don’t have it.
