Several years ago, Steve Powers from Roofing by Stacy Pearson put my new roof on, and I could not have had a better experience. All contacts and work were timely and complete. He put a lot of consideration into the bid, and clearly explained all the options. The work happened very promptly, and when they discovered some support work on my roof that needed to to be done, they completed it with high quality work, at a very surprisingly low additional fee, which they had me pre-​approve. Recently, I needed proof of this work for an insurance quote. Within hours Steve Powers followed up on my request and had mailed me my paperwork records.

This company was recommended to me by two co-​workers who had had great experiences. I got 5 estimates for the comp shingle roof on my single-​family home, which had been damaged by hail and windstorms. Stacy Pearson’s estimate was right in the middle in terms of dollars. But given those recommendations I felt more comfortable going with a known quantity than the cheapest.
Our experience with Stacy Pearson was great, confirming those previous recommendations I’d received. My questions about the work were answered patiently, the work was done in a day and a half and the roof looks terrific.
Although it’s a small point, I’d also like to add that the team cleaned up the property very well after they finished — not something I have always experienced with contractors. Other than one little shaving of a shingle and the top of one roofing nail, I have not found any junk or debris around the house. My opinion is, if they were efficent about that detail, they paid attention to the other details, too.

A rental property of mine got caught up in the whole hail storm that whipped through central austin (tarrytown and pemberton) area last year.
Prior to starting the bidding process, I got several references from coworkers who had used this company in the past. Given how completely and utterly sketchy roofers can be when serious storms come through the area, I was more than worried about going with someone with no track record.
I got a bid from a couple of companies including Stacy Pearson. When I chose them and sent their bid over to my insurance adjuster, he actually said it was one of the most informative bids he’d ever got. They detailed out just about everything they were going to do to the house.
This house was rather old (100 years or so) and had several layers of roofing over a wood shingle original roof. The whole mess had to be scraped off and redecked with new roofing material put on the main house as well as the garage.
The roof itself looks really good now that they were done. They did a pretty good job on cleanup… I think after a day or two picking up bits and pieces here and there whenever I saw them was all taht was needed. not bad with that many shingles. They did a pretty good job cleaning up the shingle mess in the attic too. There was some left… however, I wouldnt expect it to be «detailed.»
I would go with them again if I had another composition roof replaced. I have also given their name to several friends to use them to get bids on their roofing.
