These guys are awesome. Very kind, and make you feel like part of the family. Dropped by on my way home, and they took me right away. I had my oil changed and alignment fixed in only an hour. They didn’t try to upsell me, which gets on my nerves every time I go anywhere else. Thanks guys!

Jeff and Dan are great and they have the patience of saints. I was getting an oil change on my van this morning while waiting a guy came it and asked about having a thermostat changed. It was well after 10 but he wanted the car back by 2 it didn’t matter that there were 3 customers including myself ahead of him. He was rude and completely obnoxious talking over the other customer who was at the counter. He was such a jerk that I wanted to tell him off myself. The 2 guys that work there were calm and polite and the guy Jeff was still attempting to accommodate this guy but he just wasn’t interested in any solution they offered. If I could give them 10 stars on just dealing with that jerk I would. Their customer service is top notch if the owner offers a customer service award then Jeff definitely earn it.

New manager Jeff was extremely helpful. I needed new shocks and struts on my Tacoma. Jeff never tried to oversell. He actually told me things that weren’t needed and how I could save some money. Very professional and does excellent work. Highly recommend dealing with Jeff. You won’t be disappointed.

Kerry took care of my walk-​in to fix the AC and charged me half of the original quote since it didn’t use as many resources as previously thought. Integrity.

Came in for a front alignment i was in/​out in 30 minutes big thanks to the manager Ray and staff!

So I stopped in here to get an oil changed based on their $ 14.99 advertised price on the sign.
And sure enough, it was $ 14.99. With tax and shop supplies it was $ 16.50.
Drinking epic.
But that’s not why I’m writing my review. While sitting in the waiting room I overheard the manager taking to a young woman about her Honda Civic. When she came in she said she needed brake pads «because of the light on the dash.»
As it turns out that was a low tire pressure light.
Instead of ripping her off and changing her brake pads unnecessarily… he just told her the truth. She then asked if that meant that she needed new tires today. Again, he was honest and said no.
He asked her to come see him next time for an oil change and encouraged her to rotate her tires. He also advised her that if the light came back on that he could check her tire and most likely patch it to save her money.
Now that is a good guy.

I changed my oil here since I had a coupon for them on the back of my HEB Leander receipt. Since I got the premium oil change, they also rotated my tires and did a diagnostics test on the car. They ended up finding a busted transmission axle seal, as well as a stripped stud on my tire that the technician claimed «somebody» had stripped so that he couldn’t get the lug nut back on (which doesn’t really make sense because the lug nut was obviously on when I took it in, and he was able to back it off, so leads me to believe he was the one who stripped it). Anyway, they quoted me one hour of labor and about $ 30 in parts to fix the problem. I told them I’m a poor UT grad student and that I’d wait for my next paycheck.
So I went back today to get the problem fixed, and it was a guy behind the counter (I’m guessing it was Steve, but didn’t check the name tag… the last time I was there it was a woman behind the counter who quoted me one hour of labor, so I’m guessing that was Kristen). He quoted me two hours of labor, so with labor, parts, and tax I was looking at $ 250. I was still a little suspicious about that lug nut (and still a poor UT grad student), so I decided to get a second opinion.
I took it to Firestone in Leander and they did a full diagnostic check for free. They didn’t find any problems with the transmission axle seals (or anything else under there), and were able to fix the stud and lug nut (and did it for free!). So it appears Precision was trying to pull a fast one on me. Not too happy about that. And definitely not going back.

Kristen was a delight. She was very helpful and prompt. I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend Kristen and her staff for your Automotive needs.

I had a good experience here. I was late but Kirsten still got me out on time for my next appointment. The bill was as she said it would be. Comfortable, cozy waiting area.

Went in for an oil change. It took twice as long as I was quoted, cost more than expected, and one of the techs argued with me.
I had no appointment, but the lady at the front desk said she could get me in within the hour. I guess I should have had her clarify *which* hour she meant.
I also had a tire plugged, and between the oil change and the plug, the bill was over $ 50. The plug alone was $ 17. My last tire plug cost $ 8, and there were a few nickel-​and-​dime charges on my bill, so I was a bit surprised how much the bill came to.
When I got home, I noticed that the cable running to the hood release handle was no longer connected. I spent a few minutes fiddling with it before realizing it needed 5 minutes and a pair of pliers, so I decided to go back and let the guy that broke it take care of it.
The serviceman had the audacity to argue with me, telling me it was broken when I brought it in. A) no it wasn’t — I popped my hood the day before with no problem, and also how would he have opened my hood if it was already broken? and B) even if it had somehow been already broken, it seems like the type of thing a good technician would just quietly fix. Then, they could have gotten brownie points by telling me at the end of the oil change that they fixed an issue with the latch that I didn’t even know was an issue.
But no, instead, he argued, and then reluctantly conceded and fixed it.
Oh, and if you give them your real email address, you’ll get lots of emails for surveys, even after you take the survey. Yay for spam!

I took my car here since I had a coupon for a free oil change. The work was done quickly and with no extra costs. The only thing that it cost me was being yelled at about Obama Care by the surly lady working at the front desk. Twenty-​three years of customer service has taught me that you don’t initiate certain topics with your customers. And at the very least, act like you are happy to see them… Whether they are using a free coupon or not.

Went in for their $ 29.99 oil change «special» and tire rotation. My final bill was $ 42. How did this happen? … $ 4.24 for ½ quart of oil + $ 3 hazardous waste + $$ 2.97 ship supplies = $ 10.21 in EXTRA CHARGES. Really a bad experince … Will never go back.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
Your car will get stolen when they leave the keys in it and then they will refuse to take responsibility!

For some reason my previous review does not show up when searching for this business. Following is my edited summary.
I had a very poor experience with Steve’s Automotive Services which resulted in multiple trips to this «Volvo Specialist» for supposedly completed work. We payed for work to be done to our Volvo, and when it became apparent that work to a faulty door latch had not been completed (or possibly even done), the owner blew us off. When we asked for a refund for the incomplete work (a mere $ 50 out of a $ 500 bill), the owner refused, calling it «diagnostic work». Additionally, when he could not figure out the electrical issues we were having with our vehicle, he billed us for his work and referred us to the dealer to solve. We ended up paying him AND the dealer for the same work. We gave him multiple opportunities to do the right thing, but his rude, whiny, and dishonest attitude has now assured that we will no longer use this shop for service on any of our autos.
