Took my car in because of a check engine light and they were so helpful and nice. They did a diagnostic check free of charge and let me know that there wasn’t anything wrong, but to keep an eye out. They didn’t gouge me on unneeded repairs. Will definitely go back!

I give two stars based on a previous visit. I would give zero based on the one I almost had today. I waited to be assisted only to be looked at and ignored. Good news is that we aren’t at any loss for oil change stations in our area. Being busy is understandable; ignoring a potential customer is not.

A shout out that Kwik car will ALWAYS be my go-​to for automotive repair and service. They stand by their service and I appreciate their management.

My wife and I have had issues in the past but lately they have been doing great work. The Manager is great and I will keep coming back as long as the good service continues.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and have always been pleased with the local atmosphere. No matter who’s working the front desk the personal attention and friendliness is the same. Plus you get a coupon for a free car wash across the street at every visit.

really friendly folks but i have had a bit of trouble visiting when they actually have an inspection guy available. I tried last month and the inspection machine was broken, then last week they were booked so I stopped by on Black Friday and the inspection guy wasn’t available. I ended up leaving the vehicle overnight. The counter folks were friendly — but I in the future, I will call before i stop in to make sure that I am not spinning my wheels.

Beware, beware, beware. They try to fool me as I didn’t know anything, I went for the inspection of my car for the registration purpose, and you know what they told me, «ohh your car has major safety issues, the power steering fluid is low it must be leaking and they failed my car and told me to go back the next day so they can check it properly, when I went there the next day they told me that my power steering pump is not working it needs replacement and the told me that it will cost 600 $ just for the replacement of pump and labor, for the parts they asked me for $ 230which is in auto zone for 107 $ and if you change the pump and take the old pump to Auto zone the will refund you $ 40so hardly the pump cost 60 & which the try to Bill me for $ 230 plus flushing the whole oil which the bill for $ 146 and extra labor for $ 180 and then what, they told me ohh your coolant pump is not working need to replace it and the estimated it for $ 230, altogether they gave me an estimation for the $ 825.
I went to different auto shop and they told me that everything is working properly only the coolant was leaking which the fixed it for free and passed my car for inspection, so be careful with these people and before going for the major repair with these guys cross check with a different auto shop to avoid Being fooled by these guys

Thank you so so so much to these guys (and gals)! It was Thanksgiving weekend, so of course car troubles find the perfect time to happen. I brought in my BMW when the coolant light came on, and they told me they would inspect it and run a pressure test (all for free) to check for a leak. I was very worried it could take hours or hundreds of dollars to fix, but at each step Ryan sat down with me and explained my options.
Thankfully, no leaks, and they replaced my coolant within 45 minutes. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, especially when they could see how worried I was about the time and money.
As a young woman who is sometimes suspicious of car places that try to talk me into work I don’t need, I felt very welcomed by everyone here at Kwik Kar and I appreciated their honesty and helpfulness.
***Also, there are numerous coffee shops and restaurants in the same shopping center within walking distance so it was a great place to wait if it had turned out to take longer.

Do yourself a favor and the next time you need to take your vehicle in take to Ryan and the team over at Kwik Kar. These guys really went above and beyond to make sure my truck was taken care of with no further issues.

Needed a quick oil change. Done. But, a week later, I saw oil under my car and opened the hood and found the dipstick tube broke. I dreaded going back because I figured they would deny any responsibility. I was VERY relieved when they completely took care of the issue with no charge! Turned out the new filter was defective and that is where the leak was from (not really their fault.) Also, they showed me how brittle the plastic my VW’s dipstick is made of (when it gets to this age.) Regardless, they took responsibility and fixed it for me (again, at no charge.) Good people.

I highly recommend coming here for service. They carry great products, do fantastic work, and have great customer service that go above and beyond.

This was my FIRST and last time here!!! so so frustrating!
I asked for a conventional oil change and they were trying to up sell me to synthetic as well as an engine flush. For a brand new car that only has had one oil change by the dealership with conventional oil.
I thought I heard the guy working the desk told the mechanic to put in synthetic while the other guy was trying to sell me an engine flush. Meanwhile… while waiting the front desk guy comes back and said they are doing the synthetic oil at no additional charge because that’s what is best for my engine. Only this time we’ll do it for the price of conventional. Sounds great and nice. However, now I’ll have to pay top dollar for a synthetic oil change.
However, while waiting I called the dealership and they said conventional oil is perfectly safe for my car and that what they said about my engine burning through it… Etc. Is not true. I again told them I wanted conventional and confirmed with my husband and He said he had to drain the synthetic oil out and appeared not happy.
I asked if there was going to be a problem now with my car because of the switch and he said no. I will raise hell if there is!!! You will not touch my car again. I didn’t even get offered the free car wash everyone says they get. If your going to get your car oil changed I had better luck with my old car at the 1431/​Palmer location. No up sell there! Just because I’m a woman does not give you the right to try and take advantage of me. Thanks! I’ll stick with the dealership!
UPDATE: I received a phone call the next day regarding my review and the service they provided. The guy who took care of me apologized and offered to make it right and stated that this is not how they do business. I’ll update my star rating when they are true to their word at the next scheduled service.

Beware of this place! My husband and I have taken our cars here a few times without any trouble, but my most recent visit was a BIG disappointment! All my car needed was brake work. In addition, (2) Kwik Kar staff members told me that my car needed a long list of repairs: new tires, an alignment, hoses replaced, etc. They insisted I make the repairs, but I only approved the brake work. Upon follow-​up with two other car repair shops — I’ve found that the list of repairs were unnecessary. I won’t be going back!

I brought my car in for some transmission work because of the good reviews, & it was convenient to where I’m located. They price matched other shops quotes, and we’re very efficient. Great service!

Taking my car anywhere for maintenance is usually a painfully stressful situation. I found that this location is staffed with a shop full of compitent and friendly professionals. I was going there for JUST am oil change and couldn’t afford to be up sold on anything else. The tech was strait forward with me about things that he noticed that will need to address soon and what could wait. I will be returning for all of my maintenance needs and recommend you do the same!

I’ve got to hand it to Kwik Kar, they fix what they say they’re going to fix, and they do it with integrity and completion.
I brought my 2005 Scion Xa in to have the brakes looked at. There was a definite grinding noise going on, and I’ve gotta keep this car rolling until we pay off the new car we had to buy when we had kids. So in we go, as Kwik Kar is walking distance from my place of employment. They got the car opened up, and found that the front brakes were fine, but the drum brakes on the rear were going to need some work. I authorized the work, and waited for a callback.
Toward the end of the day I got an apologetic call that my car was not ready, for the reason that the 3^rd party parts that arrived for my car did not fit precisley. So I was without a car for an evening, but the manager had OEM parts purchased and waived the additional cost. That was what I felt was integrity move 1.
Move two came the next day, when they got my car all buttoned up and ready to get back on the road– only to find that the cylinders were evidencing leaks. The manager once again called me «hat in hand» to apologize that the car needed to be further worked on– but this time waived the parts AND the labor of pulling the rear end back apart on what he said he should have caught earlier. Integrity move 2.
You hear a lot about mechanics that will find things to push up the price of a repair. These mechanics ate into their own bottom line to make sure the repair was done right, and make up for an item they did not catch on the first estimate. That, to me, is a reason to keep patronizing an establishment. If they’re going to be on the level even when it means eating some of the cost, that’s the kind of people I want to do business with. I visited this place a few months ago and wasn’t too impressed. But I went back this weekend with the spouse for his vehicle so I could give them a second chance. To my pleasant surprise, they’re now under new management/​ownership, and things are better! They used to have a bunch of confusing offers like «15 minutes or it’s free» which was advertised all over the property but not explained – recipe for frustrated customers. That’s all gone now. The guys working there were very polite, got the job done reasonably quick, explained everything, and got us on our way. The garage and lobby were clean, and the price was less than I expected.
So if you haven’t been here lately, give them a shot! And let’s hope the new management continues to do a good job… or you’ll hear about it from me!

Love this place! This place has new management as of 2 weeks, and Josh was extremely professional and seriously helped me in a pinch. Can’t believe how helpful and willing to work with me they were. Thank you!!!

I’ve been going to various Kwik Kar’s for years now, but this one is by far the shadiest. Here are the three strikes that lead me to never go back and leave this review.
1. Watch out for the upsell.
It’s ridiculous how hard they try to upsell you. Every single time I go in there, I get the exact same pitch, from the exact same guy. «Mind if I show you something. Some food for thought, mind you.» One time when trying to tell me I needed a new air filter, the guy literally put a leaf on top of it to really drive home the point that I needed to change my filter.
I get it, though. They make money on the upsell’s, so of course they are going to push it on me. While annoying, I can deal with this.
2. Recommend unnecessary repairs.
I went to get my inspection done. They told me it failed due to a leak in one of the hoses. They gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix, and I told them I would think about it. Went to my mechanic neighbor and he said there was no leak, or anything he could «visually see» that would cause it to fail inspection. So, I took it to another place and it passed inspection with no issues.
This really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like they were trying to scam me into services I didn’t necessarily need.
3. They screwed my oil pan nut in too tight and de-​threaded the pan.
This was the final straw for me. And it nearly cost me my car. Went to take my wife’s car for oil change. In the days immediately following, I see oil stains on my driveway. Asked my same mechanic neighbor to take a look at it and he said that the oil pan but was screwed in too tight, and that it dethreaded the pan. I would likely have to replace the whole oil pan.
Was driving it to his shop for repairs the next day, and the nut fell out while I was driving and oil started pouring out of my car while I was on the highway. Pulled over quickly, turned off the engine and watched the oil drain out. (Photo attached) had to then get it towed to the shop.
If I continued to drive the car for another couple of minutes, it would’ve locked up my engine due to lack of oil.
The Good Things
This place ain’t all bad, however. They do offer free Wi-​Fi in the lobby and sometimes water bottles in their beverage fridge. I’ve been there probably seven or eight times, and had two major instances where I felt burned. Other times, the service was fine. I always got a free car wash coupon.
If you do go there. Be careful for the things listed above.

Some of the reviews have helped me see that there is a Quality Control issue and that my tire being put on improperly, causing air stem to be covered, was not a one off issue, will only take my junker car here, won’t take the nicer family sedan.
To the owner, you are a neighborhood shop, word gets around fast, need to focus on quality control and taking responsibility when something does go wrong.
