Welcome to Cedar Park Gynecology and the Center for Minimally Invasive and Reconstructive Gynecology. Dr. Buten offers both a balanced and compassionate approach to gynecological care. Having been in private practice for 30 years, Dr. Buten now focuses exclusively on gynecology. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic reconstructive surgery, urinary incontinence, treatment of menopause and menstrual disorders, as well as routive gynecological care. He provides compassionate care with innovative treatment to provide superior patient satisfaction.

History

Established in 1981.

Having been in private practice for 30 years, Dr. Buten now focuses exclusively on gynecology. Without the distraction of laboring patients, he is able to spend more time in consultation, and his patients experience significantly shorter waiting times with more prompt appointments.

Dr. Buten is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Ob/​Gyn. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, Austin Ob/​Gyn Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Urogynecologic Society.

In 2008, 2009, and 2010, he was awarded the «Patient’s Choice Award» for outstanding patient care. He is also a National Speaker for Myriad Genetics on the subject of BRACA Testing for Ovarian and Breast Cancer.
