I’m not a fan of these tacos. primarily, my family and I don’t find the flavors of their meats to be appealing when compared to other local shops or trailers. the restaurant facility is clean and nice, but we don’t eat here any more

I love to give a good review as much as I hate to have to give a bad one. Fuzzy’s didn’t get a 5 Star because it is just not a 5-Star cuisine. It is, however, great for what it is. Tasty, fresh ingredients usually well prepared(a little inconsistency on portions and prep). Many of the offerings are unique to Fuzzy’s. They get one point off because they took their crawfish salad off the menu(my favorite item). I can get by on the shrimp salad, or many other choices, including their fish tacos. Their salsa has a good flavor, and is my salad dressing choice. My kids love their breakfast tacos and nachos. I eat here at least a couple times a month. Great food bargain.

Went here this past sunday evening. I’m not sure what changed and when — but queso was watery, menu has changed — not impressed. It was kind of our go to spot. It felt like they remodeled inside and cheaped out the food all the sudden. Disappointed.

We used them again for our company Christmas party. This was the second time they catered it for us. Aside from working out the price quoted error and them sending us one wrong item(which they made right for both). The food was delicious and hot and everyone had plenty. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Good tacos that are decently priced. Have always had good service as well.

Beer was cold and the tacos were very good. Fast service today at 1pm on a Tuesday but there are 12 people in here so I hope they keep it together. Service was good so I gave it a 4. One concern I have is they run the register with gloves on and use the same gloves to prepare food. Don’t think they have been trained well in food service and that needs attention for sure.

I am a fan! I love Fuzzy’s!!! I not only like this place for the food they serve, but now that I discover they have a great Happy Hour menu-I am coming here more often. This place may not be the ideal Tex-Mex restaurant you are looking for. But its gets the job done if you are craving taco’s, nachos and more! Their fish and shrimp tacos are probably my favorite item on the menu. With the rice and beans on the side, its honestly a filling dish. But the Happy Hour item was something I didn’t know about. Basically they have $ 2 beer and $ 5 beerita’s which is their specialty. You get free chips and queso with your order and that’s just magical!!! Would I say this is the best Tex-Mex food I have ever had in my life-no. But its cheap, tasty and has a cool vibe to it which makes me a fan!

I got the fish tacos. The were like congealed fish pieces. Very gross. I suggest Torchy’s over this any day and it’s just down the road.

We have been to fuzzy’s numerous times in Oklahoma City and really like it. We were happy to find this one until we ate there. They didn’t have the same margaritas as the one in Oklahoma and the location was horrible. Table was dirty, food was bland and décor looked like a cheap fast food place. Not all Fuzzy’s are created equally!

I have been to this location three times over past two years and have never had a good experience or meal(food with no flavor and very rude staff). I used to LOVE the Fuzzys in Beaumont where I moved from. So I keep giving them a second chance thinking it was just an off day for them. But today I went for a late lunch at 2 and stood in line for nearly 30 minutes just to order. Despite several staff members standing around there was only one person taking orders and he kept stopping to answer the phone and take phone orders. Finally when I got to front to order two fajita salads for me and my spouse, I was told they were out of lettuce and salad today. Dumbfounded that I waited half an hour to find out that the only thing I was interested in ordering wasn’t available, I left and will never be back. In the future, if you are out of an ingredient that goes in almost everything on your menu and can’t make a salad which is 20 percent of your menu, put up a sign and send someone to the grocery store.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s really good, especially their beef fajita tacos & crawfish tacos. It’s not traditional Mexican food & I love the garlic sauce on the tacos! We definitely prefer it to Torchy’s. My complaints though, are that their chips and queso are super bland & their Tuesday special of ‘any 2 tacos & a fuzzy’s cup’ for $ 5 doesn’t include fajita tacos.(And, this exception is not stated anywhere.)

Had spicy pork taco and shredded beef tacos. Pretty good. Cilantro rice was delicious, as well as the chips and queso. Will come back again.

I love this place. The staff and food are great! They serve big beers and margs! I always get the fish and shrimp tacos! I also came in one day and had breakfast tacos!(So good and fresh!) Can’t get enough of this place! They also have a nice outdoor seating area and large TV’s for games!

This place was great. The portions were large. The place was clean. It tasted amazing! I had the two taco plate(ground beef /fried fish), with refried beans and potatoes. I had chips and queso for appatizer, and since it was free-desert Sunday(not every Sunday) I also had Sopapilla Chips. Everything was prepared well and served fast. No complaints at all, other than the portions were bigger than I expected.

When Fuzzy’s first came to DFW I really liked them. The tacos were flavorful, the queso was great, and the prices were(and still are) extremely reasonable. We came here for dinner last night though before hitting the road for the weekend and our meal left much to be desired. Our first clue should have been the fact that they were dead on a Friday night. My husband got the taco plate and I got a cheese quesadilla with a side of cilantro lime rice and black beans. The cashier asked us if we wanted chips and queso because at the time it was free for happy hour. We said sure, grabbed a table, and shortly afterwards picked up our queso from the window. Hands down it was the worst queso I’ve ever had. You know the blue box of macaroni and cheese with the neon orange cheese powder? It tasted like that mixed with warm water. Had I paid for that, I would have not been happy. My husband’s tacos were bland and my quesadilla had clumps of unmelted cheese which I loathe. It said I had a side of rice and beans on the ticket but they forgot them so I sent my husband back to the window. He showed the ticket which clearly read beans and cilantro lime rice, and they gave him Spanish rice. I was about to send him back again but at that point no longer cared. We picked at our food and left wishing we had gone to Torchy’s instead.

First off, I’m not some snooty foodie from kali, so my rating isn’t because the dining room had a distinct lack of hipsters. So, this used to be one of our favorite places, because we could get a decent yummy meal for under $ 10 a person, but under the recent new management everything is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. I’m glad I’m not the only one that seems to have noticed. I was so surprised at how small my shrimp burrito was compared to the last one I had(½ — 2⁄3), I took a picture of it next to a $ 20 bill just in case it was a fluke. If I hear they’ve gone back to the way it was, we’ll give Fuzzy’s another shot. I guess Torchy’s will be getting even more business now.

The portions are getting much much smaller. The prices remain the same. I’m not happy about that. I felt like I was getting something off the Michelle Obama elementary school lunch program.

I was on the way home one day and spotted Fuzzy’s Taco Shop after missing the pull off for Chipotle(sadly — which isn’t very good anyway). I swung in, took a look at the menu and chose the vegetarian burrito in a bowl. What came to me was a not-too-bad-looking pile of shredded zucchini, carrots, lettuce, some beans, etc. Hmm.creative. Most vegetarian burrito bowls are an amalgam of roasted veggies, delicious beans/rice and crowning of salsa. I took a few bites, realized its mediocrity and thought these exact thoughts: Fuzzy’s should change it’s name to «Shitty’s». People… the food was so bad. I know its hard to get vegetarian perfect, but it’s also impressive how bad this meal was fucked up. It was mushy. Asking for something vegetarian does not mean«serve me mush». Try a little harder to please the folks that don’t eat meat. Though, I prolly won’t notice it because I won’t be back.

My wife worked in downtown Fort Worth for years where she found the original Fuzzy’s. We were pumped when they opened a store in Austin. The honest truth, there are a lot of places to get this kind of food in Austin that is local. However, Fuzzy’s is nostalgic and we really enjoy the food. I LOVE the spicy pork taco plate with latin potatoes. AMAZING every time! Chips are fine and so is the queso. But I can feed my family of four and afford a beer for less that I’d pay at most places around town. It’s also pretty close to the house! So, it’s affordable. They have some great plates. Oh, and I think they have a kids eat free on Wednesday night deal.
