Excelencia – Creative Bilingual Preschool

After a year in this school, our son is reading and writing on a 1^st grade level according to the testing he just completed at the private school he will attend next year after graduating from Excelencia. They are going to allow him to skip Kindergarten and go right into 1^st grade. The teachers at this school are kind and the children flourish under their care. Adrianna, the owner and director is there working every day. She is very hands on and truly loves all the kids. The playground is all new. There are new computers for all the kids. This place is really a jewel right in the middle of Cedar Park!

My son has been going to Excelencia for 2 years now, he is 4 years old and he is learning how to read and write in Spanish and English. He is completely bilingual and switches languages effortlessly. We are very pleased with the education he is getting and so happy we found Excelencia. The owners, Adriana and Bill, have poured their hearts into the preschool, you can tell from the minute you walk in. They are always there ready to answer questions and concerns parents may have. The teachers are native spanish speakers, caring and wonderful with the kids. My son loves his teacher and on weekends asks if he can go to «Escuelita», as he calls it. I am a teacher myself and I can tell the care and love for the little ones is genuine plus, because the school is small, it feels like a family.
I recommend Excelencia to all the parents that are looking for a caring, quality creative Spanish immersion education, without the big price tag that Spanish immersion education seems to have here in Texas.

My five year old girl is a recent graduate. We had been sending her here for almost two years. I am definitely a fan.
If you are looking for a snooty kindergarten prep school, then this place is not for you. If your priority is that your child learn Spanish, in a fun albeit raucous environment, then you should definitely give this place a look. The tuition rates are very reasonable, and this school is probably the best value for a preschool in the area.
My daughter absolutely loved her time here. All of the teachers seem to really care about the kids. My daughter has made friends for life here, and will definitely miss her teachers and friends now that she is moving on.
My daughter started here not knowing a lick of Spanish. After she had been going here for about 8 months we were starting to get frustrated by her lack of progress. Then one day it was like a light suddenly went on, and she started yammering in Spanish. I have been speaking Spanish since high school, and my daughter can now speak it better than I can. This place definitely delivers when it comes to learning Spanish.
As a former child abuse investigator, it was important to me that we find a preschool where I would not have to worry about my kid’s safety. This place is run by the wife of an Austin Police Dept Commander, so I knew my child was in good hands.
Anyway, I have no qualms about sending my kid here. When my youngest daughter is a little older, I have no doubt we will send her here as well.

My kids love it here, and so do I. Their Spanish has improved so quickly, and I know the teachers/​director really care about them.
