Come and Take It Moving

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I priced about 15 movers in both Corpus Christi and Austin, and Come and Take It came in with the lowest quote. Rustin and the office were communicative and organized. Eddie, who managed my move, was a doll. Very personable, worked hard, very upfront on timing (they charge by the hour), and gave me a break when my time went a little over. Everything was carefully wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped and arrived in great shape. I’ve moved myself several times before-​never again. Hire Come and Take It!

Lost and damaged items, showed up late. Unprofessional refuse to return calls or emails, and when they do when you complain they get very hostile and argumentative, yell and hang up on you. Took no care of very personal items that they lost and damaged. Claim they are a «Christian based company» that is why I chose them, but avoid them at all costs. They did a poor job and turn it around on you if you can get them on the phone, and then they try to blame you for it like you did something wrong and literally stated we believe you just need money and are lying for wanting compensation for your lost and damaged personal possessions?!. I am a professional and certainly don’t need money just want to be compensated for loss and damage. Packing was a joke who packs food jammed in with pressed dress suits and clothes and bedding to let it leak on them label no boxes at all? Their unprofessional service is paramount and they get hostile when you try to be reasonable after the move went wrong on their part which is uncalled for. But they were very polite when called for an estimate. I have moved many times all over the world and this is the worst moving company I have dealt with. I will meet them in court if I have to. This was the most stressful moving experience I have ever had and Rustin’s and their mover’s attitude are horrible literally accuse you of lying when they did wrong. When THEY are the ones that lost and damaged my life possessions. Incredible to say the least when they make you feel like you did something wrong when they will not do the right thing or own up to anything at all. I am Christian forgiving and reasonable but if they want to meet me in court will do it if they continue with this and get more compensation that the little I agreed to. Which I have yet to received to this date.

Arrived 5 minutes early, finished job early. Honest, I told them I thought it would take 2 or 2 ½ hrs, they didn’t dilly dally around, got it knocked out in an about an 1 ½, was glad to pay 2 hr minimum, it gave me some extra time, they could have drug it out for 2 ½ but didn’t. Cheaper than competition and work out of Bull Dog Storage which was the best deal in Cedar Park for storage. Combine these guys with Bull Dog Storage and you will have the best deal in Cedar Park TX for moving help.
