History

Established in 2006.

Austin Custom Woodworks is an owner operated establishment, located in the Texas Hill Country right outside of Austin. The owner, Stephen Andrews has over a decade of experience in high end woodwork, cabinetry, and design. We are a full service company, fully insured, and ready to take on any challenge.

Inventively fusing artistic concepts and functional designs is the heart of our business. We work with our customers every step of the way to ensure the final product exceeds expectations.

Business Owner

One of my youngest childhood pictures is of a four year old version of myself, wooden mallet in hand, making a few final adjustments to wedged mortise and tenon joint on a table my dad had built. From that point on there was always something being constructed in my relative vicinity; sailboats, cabinets, furniture, and of course the log cabin that i grew up in. My interest was sparked.

I was 17 when I got my first full time job as a finish carpenter. I stuck with it, learned as much as i could from anyone around me, and progressively improved. Eventually I found myself in Austin. I’ve been able to work in some amazing houses, all of which were unique and had various custom features.
