Lily’s Nails & Spa

I’ve been a customer of Lily’s since they opened their doors a little over a year ago. They offer many services including lip and eyebrow waxing. The place is clean and comfortable. Lily’s also has customer loyalty card. Visit 5 times and get a free lip/​eyebrow wax and $ 10 credit on your 6^th visit. They have always been friendly, professional, and helpful. Debbie and Fon are my girls. They always take care of me. For less wait be sure to visit early in the week. Complimentary beverages are also a nice touch to this salon.

I am currently sitting in the same chair for at least 30 minutes. I was greeted sponsored arrival, seated in a massaging pedicure chair within 10 min of my arrival, and 40 minutes later I’m still in here. With no technician or drink offer in site. The décor is gorgeous and the overall aesthetics of this place are stunning. Customer service not so much. I’m going to see what this tech do and get back to you. We’ll I am walking out of this place with my toes hurting. I made the tech stop on my right foot. She cut the my cuticles too deeply. Horrible Horrible!!! Three of my toes. If I could give this place a –1.

Came here because I had not made it out to this location just yet. When I got there it was not that packed. It was decorated very upscale and very clean. I came to just get a pedicare and I wanted to give them a try. Now I got seatedand I was not given the list of the different services. I only knew there was a list because I say another lady looking at one.
So after I asked the Tech for one to look over it I was then able to get a better look at he services and prices. The prices are a little on the higher end. However they do offer many types of pedicures that you can chose from.
I did like that they had plastic liners in each basin. Also they offered wine & water that I had to ask for. I noticed others enjoying a drink and I enated mines also.
All in all i would return to get more services sine and try getting my gel nails done to see how I like them.

*****WARNING**** This review is based on my experience in March 2016.
At the time I was 9 months pregnant and my bestie and I decided to go get our nails done together as she just had a baby in October 2015. We weren’t immediately greeted upon arriving, but someone did acknowledge us within a timely manner. I had been to the salon a couple of times previously and had a different experience each time. I once got a pedicure from a tech who COULDN’T STAY OFF HER PHONE. It was super annoying but I didn’t complain. Anyway… this day we picked our colors and sat where they requested. The person that did my nails was rushing. She didn’t allow me time to wash my hands before she started to paint. Now I’ve been getting my nails done since I was an early teen, NEVER have I not been able to wash my hands before painting regardless of the service. She used alcohol to spray down my nails and then painted.
I have absolutely no intentions of returning. I’ve tried to give them a couple of chances but they couldn’t get the correct shape on my nails from another visit. When paying for service, it’s extremely important to get what you request and it needs to be done well. The atmosphere of the salon is great. However, they could clean the nail stations more often as there was a bit of build up of nail dust. Overall, this place is mediocre at best.

Well, I didn’t get to experience their services but just wanted to mention why. It was Mother’s Day weekend so I figured it’s going to be super busy that’s why I called ahead to make an appointment, but I was told first come first serve. So I came and she pointed me to a big list, that I just need to go home and she’ll call me when to come. Why didn’t she put me on this list when I first called them??? I thought that was stupid and left the place… Thanks but no thanks!

The owner of this salon is racist! I was going there for 1 year, and I’ve seen a lot of techs leave, and I have heard from their mouths that she will only do white people’s nails. I experienced it for myself (no lie), and when my nail tech left, I was out! They are so busy that they don’t even acknowledge you until you get mad and say something! I don’t appreciate it, and I know that the owner is no good and sheisty as hell! I will never go back! I go to Desoto Nail Bar now! You guys should try them; ask for Helen. She’s awesome!

Great experience!
The service was great, the gel manicure took place at the same time as the awesome pedicure and they served wine. They also used liners on the basins and had matching gel polish to match regular polish! That’s a huge PLUS!
Only hiccup was that my wine glass smelled like margarita.
I will definitely be back again!

My mom and I love our pedis. We like to think we are professionally capable to decide if a place is worth it to get our nails done for the price. So when we arrived at Lily’s, we knew we hit the jackpot.
Every time we have gone (which has now been 5 or 6 times in the past few months) we have been impressed. Many choices when it comes to colors and always offering some sort of snack/​drink. Even when they are on a wait, they are sure to make you feel welcome. Not to mention, even though people are waiting for their turn they still take their time when doing your nails. My mom ask for Lee every time. He is super sweet and amazing! We never go anywhere but here now. If you’re up for a great experience, give this place a try!

I have never been disappointed in their service. They’re efficient, friendly to everyone, sanitary, and professional. I’ve always had someone different and always leave satisfied. I will continue to come back!

Since I’ve came across Lily’s Nails & Spa, this has been my absolute go-​to when getting my nails done, especially because I love Fong’s work. I’ve only been coming for a handful of times and have been very pleased each time. However, yesterday’s experience wasn’t as expected. I called the day before to set an appointment for Fong to do my powder-​dip nails @ 6:30 pm. I arrived at my appointment time and was briefly greeted since the front desk lady was currently with another client (which is understandable). When she checked me-​in, I told her I had a 6:30 appt w/​Fong and that I was also going to get a pedicure for myself and my mother, but we weren’t picky as to who did our pedicures. 6:30 turned into 6:45, which turned into close to 7 is when we were sat for our pedicures. I got through w/​my pedicure but still hadn’t been approached for my powder-​dip nails which I had made an appt for. Trying to make the long-​story short, my nails were started at about 7:40 pm so I left the salon at about 9:20 pm, making my visit to be about 3 hours long. I was informed that Fong wasn’t told I was there for an appt w/​her, so I was overlooked. VERY inconvenient for myself and for Fong. I made my appt with her at 6:30 because I knew they closed at 8pm, so of course I didn’t want to arrive at the nail salon too late, causing her to have to stay late also. I’m not «that person» who likes to make a scene of be rude to the staff, but you would think that I would get offered some sort of discount, or anything besides just an apology, for the huge inconvenience. I missed meeting up w/​my family afterwards because it had gotten so late in the evening. On top of that, I will be returning to the nail salon today because I noticed that about 3 of my nails have light chips in the polish that have to be re-​done.

This was my first time actually getting services from them and I wasn’t really disappointed. I was immediately greeted upon coming in although it was a weekday. The male tech did an awesome job on my nails (acrylic fill) ! He was quick and had a light hand that ended up staying for a pedicure as well. No complaints, except the water wasn’t as hot as I prefer and the chairs didn’t massage. (Maybe they do, I didn’t ask)
Good costumer service and most of the staff seemed friendly. I got two complimentary beverages during my stay. Décor is also pretty! I took two stars away because my fill was a couple dollars extra than I was quoted. And the fact that the tech was starring me down to see to I was going to leave a tip. (I did) (;

I love the quality of work that Henry provides. He is very friendly, does an EXCELLENT manicure and the facility is nice and clean. My only complaint is that their check-​in procedure is HORRIBLE! I walked in on a prior visit and NOBODY acknowledged me for several minutes. I walked back outside and called in my appointment from my car! Yesterday I called and scheduled an appointment for 10AM on 02÷14÷16. When I arrived I «signed in» which means I got the attention of whatever person approached the desk. I was told Henry would be right with me, pick out my color and have a seat. After 75 min and watching Henry see two other people, I inquired about when I would be serviced and found that Henry (and apparently no one else) had no idea I was there! They only informed him after I was about to leave.

I waited at the front counter for service for about 5 minutes. Two ladies came in after me. The lady walked up and spoke to the two non black ladies that walked in after me. I was not acknowledged

This is a Awesome place, went here to have they did my nails after another place had done them, just a week ago and they look like it’s been a month. Nancy worked on them and worked a miracle.

I don’t know if this speaks for everyone there BUT the lady that did my nails, Anna, had a terrible attitude because I would not give in to having gel nails. I asked for a simple American tip (on my birthday!) and by that same evening all nails on my left hand were coming apart on corners. Three days after I had my nails done the nail on my pointer finger came off completely. I did not wash dishes, clean, wash my hair or anything in those three days for the nails to come off so quick. So terribly disappointed. Ah — and I paid an extra $ 5 to have my cuticles cleaned since it was not included. Complete waste of $ 32 plus tip!
On the other hand, the place is nice, clean and they do offer free drinks just like most nail salon spas which earned it the one star. I’ve had my nails done in other spas in CH and they would normally last up to 2 months looking just fine. I will NOT be going back there.

I came in for a full set and left with a pedicure and eyebrows done. My experience was anazing. The ladies took extra special care of me and the pampering was out of this world. I finally found a place for me. I love this place

I’m glad I decided to come here based on the Unilocal reviews I read because this place was great! The staff were really nice and I very much enjoyed my mani/​pedi. The large selection of polish to choose from was intimidating at first but I was able to find a really nice red to go with an outfit I was going to be wearing the following day to a wedding. Well worth the drive and I’m glad I didn’t have to trek into Dallas to find a good nail salon.

Awesome awesome awesome!!! Customer service was almost! It was my first time trying Lily’s and I was kind of skeptical because so many nail shops just really don’t have the customer service aspect down. Mimi did my pedicure and she was amazing! She took her time, massaged well. She even took off the access polish off my finger nails when I was trying out the color for my toes. She went above and beyond!!! Beautiful setting as well, clean too… Thanks Mimi!!!

Yay! Cedar Hill finally has an «upscale» (read: you get free drinks) nail salon, negating the need to trek all the way to Dallas to get my digits pampered.
I’m a stickler for ambience and Lily delivers with a clean and simple décor using black and white pallet. They also use tons of protective equipment like gloves, plastic liners for pedicure basins, and single use nail files and buffers. Take that germs!
On my recent visit, there was a little girl’s birthday party on one the side of the salon but there was plenty of space for the girls to play without interrupting other patrons’ services.
As for the services, they offer all of the standards as well as a «dip» using acrylic powder which is promised to last for several weeks.
The only drawback was that they were a little short staffed so my shellac mani/​pedi took a little longer than usual. Still, I would recommend Lily to anyone looking for a place to feel pampered (and hydrated) in Cedar Hill.

I came here with a couple girlfriends over the weekend and was very impressed with it. Granted I don’t get my nails done often since I like to do them myself at home, I really liked this location. It’s very new, only about a month old. They had a million different polishes it was insane!
The service was great, although we did end up spending 3 hours there… One of my friends’ mani/​pedi took quite a bit of time. Not sure if it was because of the shellac or the fact that they took a while to get started on us since there were 4 of us. They have a menu of services available which I thought was a nice touch.
All in all if I were in the area again, I would not mind coming back but would probably tell them I had a certain time I had to be out of there by.
