Comfort Inn & Suites

The rooms are fairly nice, except for the room curtains which are sheer. There is a pool/​hot tub available for guest use, free wifi, and breakfast. Do not expect much from the staff in regards to things to do in the local area or basic politeness during any interaction. Someone forgot to tell them that it is ok to talk to strangers…

DO NOT STAY HERE! There are bed bugs in the rooms and the management does nothing to address it. We booked two rooms because we had 6 adults in our party. We found a bed bug in one of the rooms, the manager did comp the room and moved part of our party to a different room. But then next morning, the one person effected by the bed bug bites, woke up to find new bites! The manager refused to show up and address the situation, he refused to cover any of the laundry costs now that everything needs to be washed, or take care of any medical costs. The manger is a coward and even his front desk staff couldn’t believe his reaction to the situation. Save yourself the trouble and heartache and stay somewhere else!

BED BUGS! Woke up with bites all over my neck and face. Even found a bed bug crawling on the night stand. Told management and they switched us to a different room where I got more bites on my legs. Management did nothing to compensate us for the laundry, medication, or replacements for the belongings we had in the room. Horrible experience. Save yourself from dealing with this infestation and stay somewhere else!

There are bed bugs here! The manager Maulik Vyas said that «you are always running the risk of bed bugs, in any hotel.» He also said that we should «put your items in the sun and that will kill the bugs» I’m not a entomologist, but I don’t think sun kills bugs.

Pros: The room was clean, hotel was overall nice and very easy location to the freeway.
Cons: Despite what their website says, the pool is NOT heated… That was very dissapointing as that was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel opposed to others, was to enjoy the heated pool. Bit of false advertising there.
The woman who checked us in was rude. We grabbed a pamphlet from the lobby, and asked her where this aquarium was and her response, «Oh well I don’t know. I think its like 3 hours away or something» I think a more appropriate answer would be something along the lines of, «Oh, I’m not sure, let me try and find out for you»
The TV in the room, while it looks nice and fancy. it is in no way HD. All the channels were fuzzy.
The walls were also paper thin. We could hear everyone above us and around us… Now we were right near the elevator so that probably contributed to the noise, but we had to keep the fan on just to drown out all the noise.
Overall I don’t think I would stay here again. There’s a lot of hotels in this cute little city that would as a standard have HDTV, heated pool, and friendly staff… I don’t think that’s asking too much.

This hotel was rated a 2 star but I would say it was a 3. We enjoyed a clean updated room that was a suite. The hotel was pet friendly with a 25.00 dollar charge and requires you stay on the first floor which was fine with us. The bed was comfortable. They have a buffet breakfast that could have used some bananas and yogurt but all in all I would stay again.

I like this place, it is a good value. But I HATE that they have beautiful, new flatscreen TVs and do not provide HD programming! How cheap can you be? How stupid do you think your guests are? Come on, you can do better than that! The local holiday inn and Marriott both have HD and that’s where I’m staying next time. I was hoping to watch a game on ESPN but I’m stuck.

Great place to stay! The staff is super friendly and the place is very clean. The noise level is low and all the amenities are perfect. The complimentary breakfast is extensive, I just wished they had real scrambled eggs and not the mix. Also they need lids for the coffee /​tea cups. Rooms are very comfortable and they are pet friendly. I would stay again!

We stayed here for two nights on ¹⁄₇ and ¹⁄₈. The room was clean for the most part. I get that getting all the dust out of a hotel room is hard. It was very quiet, no banging on door as someone else mentioned. We were on the first floor in 106 which overlooks a bare lot. The employees were somewhat friendly. I know for sure that none of the workers in the breakfast area never acknowledged us, no smile, nod, hello or anything but that was fine… Just keep the food stocked and we’re all good. The coffee offered was def watered down but it’s free so I guess it cancels out the complaint. We spent about 100/​night here with taxes and fees and such through Priceline. My biggest fear in any hotel/​motel I stay in is getting bit by a bed bug and taking a critter home to infest my house. One of the first things I do when I check in is look at the bed, box spring, headboard and look under the bed for any signs of bed begs. I didn’t find any… The beds and mattress are actually wrapped in a mattress cover to prevent bugs from getting in. So that was nice. We had a good stay. One star off for the heater that would never turn off. We’d set the temp to 68 automatic and it would blow air until we got up to turn it off… It would never recognize when the room got to the set temp. So in the middle of the night I’d wake up cold and turn on the heater and get back up to turn it off when it got too hot.

This is a great place to get some R&R without breaking your bank. The staff was gracious, the room was very clean, the price was reasonable, the accommodations were appreciated and I will most definitely stay here again.
I mentioned that it was my birthday when I booked the room — and I arrived to find a nice little birthday gift waiting for me!

Nice clean place and very friendly front desk staff. Pet friendly is a bonus! The only complaints are that the beds are hard and uncomfortable and tv’s outdated.

Nice clean place to stay. I stayed here for 3 nights and did not have any complaints. Comfortable place to say while skiing at Brianhead. Reasonable priced with very good hot breakfast. Will stay again, I recommend this place if your passing through or spending few days in Cider City.

The hallways and rooms constantly smelled of either pot or cigarette smoke.
Banging doors… Come on. Spend the money to upgrade to gentle close doors; so your entire hotel isn’t startled awake every 5 minutes starting at 5AM.
Watered down coffee. Zzzzzz
Only staff that ever said hello/​good morning was a janitor. Nice guy.
Curtains didn’t shut all the way so the blaring parking lot lights flooded the bed.
I mean, for the price, and you’re okay with the mentioned above… Go ahead! At least it was clean!

My family and I stayed here for my graduation weekend this past May. It was wonderful! The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were pristine, and it was super inexpensive. They could charge so much more and still be worth it!
My one complaint is that the dumpster was visible from my parent’s room, but it wasn’t any fault of the company and when we mentioned it to the front desk staff they made sure to pass it on to their superiors. We received an email response to the concern within a week stating that they were working on a my attractive location for it.

I slept so well last night! Everything was clean and streamlined and the bed was extremely comfortable. The AC was quiet and fast and I was out cold until morning.

We have stayed at this place for the past several years since they have opened. The rooms are clean and The place feels comfortable. There was a newer front desk person late/​early this morning when we arrived. He was very courteous and polite a notch above the previous ones.
The hot spa jets did not work. They have a timer on the wall, bet did not work. The fitness equipment not of better quality.
Over all the value to what’s available was better in the beginning, maybe it is the season that the sir price was higher? But we feel that their prices have gone up and they haven’t kept up with the place as much.
It would be 4 or 5 stars if those were working or of better quality fitness equipment.

The smoke detector in one of the rooms in our king suite started to chirp around 6 am. I called the front desk several times (no answer & voicemail full). Finally someone picks up (Ryan, I believe). I explain our smoke detector is chirping and he says «I don’t really know how those things work». I tell him the battery needs to be replaced. He says maintenance doesn’t come in until 7am. He then tells me that I can take out the battery if I want. I say «it’s on the ceiling… How am I going to do that?». He says «well I’m already short-​staffed, what am I going to do about it?». I am already irritated at this point and his tone of voice with me is not helping. I say «your attitude is great — you obviously know your customer service» and he hung up on me. I tried calling again — no answer. I paid for a hotel suite to sleep in and did not get what I paid for. With this economy & job market, you’d think they would be able to hire someone who actually understands guest service. I’ll NEVER stay here again! Stick with BW T&C on Main Street — they’ve always treated me like a guest and not a nuisance.
Update: I left 2 messages for the Manager (Maulik) since my stay; however I have not heard back. I guess I’ll be calling the corporate office next. They should be concerned with Ryan’s advice because if I had tried to get the batteries out and fell, that would be an enormous liability or even worse, if there had been a fire, my family of 6 could have been killed. NFPA requires a working smoke detector in all sleeping quarters.

Upon checking in and registering our dogs, they gave us a free upgrade since there wasn’t any regular rooms available. At no cost gave us a suite for two nights. Hotel is clean and has great amenities as well.

Wow! I was very impressed with this Comfort Inn location. The staff members were always very welcoming and quick to check us into our room. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable, and clean — not what I was expecting at all for a $ 50 room! I have paid much more to stay in far worse places. This motel experience was so nice I’d have to believe this place was recently renovated.
Comfort Inn is now on my radar for whenever I travel across the country.

The staff members are always friendly and helpful.
We checked into room 101 but asked to change because that room was next to a noisy mechanical room. It also had stains on the couch, a funky smell, and a hole in the bathroom door. They were very accommodating.
They offer a nice free breakfast and have a good exercise room, washers and dryers, pool and hot tub. Also have complimentary USA Today newspapers.
They are close to a freeway exit.
Usually $ 50 less than the Marriott across the street.
Their lobby is comfortable and well designed.
They had five of six great pillows on our bed, but I didn’t like the crowned mattress as I felt I was going to fall off the side.
Plenty of good parking.
