Lauren Devine, the instructor for Business Basics for Multimedia at Ohlone College, is amazing. I am so fortunate to have taken this class with her as instructor. Before staring the class, a few Ohlone students had recommended that I take this class. I found Lauren Devine to be an excellent, stimulating instructor. She has a contagious enthusiasm with engaging energy. I look forward to attending her class on Saturday. I felt as if I had her undivided attention and was given a wealth of very relevant information.

Lauren is an amazing talent and she really cares about all the details of our website and print work. She has been working on my retail website and we get tons of compliments. the quality of our website makes vendors, partners and customers see our level of commitment to our business. It has afforded us a lot of opportunities. I will say also, that he prices cannot be beat. For her speed and her knowledge, I did not find anyone in that same range. Since she has become so important to my business, I decided to come and make it official on Unilocal.Thank you, Lauren!

Wow, where do I start? Lauren is truly a creative genius with the web /​logos, etc… Having her develop and create both of my sites, She delivered far more than i imagined.
What I really liked was that the two sites were fairly different genres, and each took on their own unique and powerful persona.
I appreciated her patience through the building process, especially in the creation phase — we worked together quite a bit. Her ideas are now effecting a very impactful and memorable image to my clients. I feel engaging Lauren, we captured the essence of who I am and the services me and my organization provide to the public.
I tried MANY other developers over a 5 year period, and spent a good deal of money to get a site that was «ok» but not truly reflecting what the mission was.
If you engage Lauren to design for you, I can say, from my experience, she draws from a very broad palette of ideas, thoughts and resources, and is willing to go pretty much anywhere your imagination takes you… then she organizes it in some special way that it comes across clearly — where people can receive it.

Our journey with Lauren began when my boss asked me to check Unilocal*for a well-​rated logo designer. Despite the fact that we have committees and approvals take time on our end, Lauren worked with those constraints and was readily available when further input from her was needed. She’s really creative and figured out what might appeal from the rather vague needs that we communicated in the first visit — didn’t phase Lauren! Drive past First Pres on Grove Way (near Trader Joe’s in Castro Valley) in about a week to see the new sign with our new logo on the sign in front of the church! Thank you for your patience and your creativity, Lauren. You’ll be the first person I will go to when similar needs arise in the future!

Frankly, she’s the shit. Sorry, just being honest. I met Lauren 6 – 7 years ago at a bank. Ironically, I was looking for a Graphic Arts designer. Lauren has the rare ability to make your ideas, thoughts into reality. She is incredibly talented and gifted. There’s never been a time while she was working on my project that she wasn’t available.

Lauren is an amazing artist and she is very quick, responsive and resourceful. Every time that she has quoted me a price it has always been accurate or even cheaper in the end. I rate her a 5 stars. I found her on Unilocal and to be honest this is my first Unilocal review EVER! But I love Unilocal and I use it all the time.
I was in need of a quick graphic design with a small turn around time. She took the job and beat our 1.5 week deadline for a very important breakfast brochure. Since then she became our go to girl for the district.

I first met Lauren about 6 months ago when she gave a presentation about branding, website design, and SEO to my business class. Two things struck me initially: the first was her enthusiasm to teach. I learned so much in that hour class about logo design, do’s and don’t of web marketing, and what to look for in a website designer.
The second was her honesty. For example, some designers charge per page to design your website which sounds ok but in fact has no correlation to how much work the project requires. It is very easy for a designer to add extra pages of simply text that literally takes seconds to generate and are not work that additional charge. Lauren keeps it simple and has a base hourly rate as well as various packages for a flat rate.
Which brings me to the BEST reason to hire Lauren is that she is BOTH an awesome graphic designer AND a kick-​butt website designer. I honestly don’t know of any other people who can wear both hats so excellently as Lauren. It saved me the
time, trouble, and money from finding two separate professionals to do what Lauren does.
For example, I purchased a package deal from her (Logo Biz Pack) and for a flat rate she designed my logo from scratch, designed an awesome custom website with all kinds of crazy features, and also designed my business cards which look simply AMAZING! I am currently in business and get all kinds of compliments and referrals simply due to the quality of my website and logo.
I highly recommend her if you are just launching your business or have an existing business that needs a graphic and website face-​lift. You will not regret it!

Lauren is a talented, creative and smart designer. She does beautiful work and is both extremely knowledgeable and as helpful as she can be. I was so lucky to find Lauren about 5 years ago!
