This is a review that needs WAY more than five stars. The talented team of Danielle and Rebecca meant that when I was overwhelmed after getting my house back from a short term renter who trashed it, they waved their magic wands and took care of EVERYTHING. They walked though the house I wanted to sell with me and made a punch list room by room. They weighed in with what they thought was a need and solicited quotes from their contractors and had the work underway in a matter of days. The work was top notch, my house was on the market and they got the price I wanted. Danielle was working with me to buy another house and while there were questions that went unanswered by the seller’s realtor she did not waver in her repersentation of me and my husband and kept our best interest first an foremost. I have bought a couple other houses but never have I had such first rate service and I would only use this team going forward for any house selling or future purchases. This was truly a boutique buying/​selling experience without the inflated price.

She went above and beyond the ‘call of duty’ several times to make sure that we were pricing our non-​standard home (2 additional parcels attached) in the correct range.
Every piece of advice she gave us about what improvements to make and staging were spot on.
I liked how she would give us all of the information, then leave the ball completely in our court to decide what to do when it was decision time.
She’s a great communicator, very professional, punctual and even held my fussy baby when we were trying to get through paperwork.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home and we really enjoyed working with Danielle. She was always very organized and patient with all of the home requests we had. She was also very good at explaining everything in detail, from the home buying process in general to different loan info, things to watch out for, etc. Even though we started to get a little discouraged after not being able to get into anything for awhile, she was positive and encouraged us to continue looking. And I’m glad we did!
After our offer on our current home was accepted we hit a snag with our lender and were extremely stressed. Fortunately, Danielle found us a different lender (JVM Lending) who were able to get everything accepted in what seemed like record time. We are now happily unpacking in our new house and couldn’t be more excited to start this new chapter in our lives. Thank you Danielle! :)

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Danielle Keil and Rebecca Glenn on numerous Escrows and let me tell you, they live up to their reputation. Selling and buying a home is never easy and at times things pop up that we’re not prepared for. The Keil team is one of the best at preparing their clients for whatever comes along in the transaction.
They keep their clients up to date on what’s happening in the transaction and educate them on what they should expect to come next. Danielle is the most amazing realtor I have had over the past 25 years of buying and selling properties. She was quick to respond to all my overbearing emails and she knew her stuff. We were able to close on time on our last property and all the kinks with all the docs were ironed out smoothly by Danielle. On a side note, she has a great personality. She is always positive even when you get into the trenches of the Real Estate market. She can also be a slugger when you need a negotiator that is tough. She has my business from now until I finally jump out of the market.

If I could give a lesser rating I would. I don’t post much at all on help but I thought I should do the public a favor and warn them about these agents. My soon to be husband were looking to purchase a home in the Castro Valley area. I was referred by a friend to Rebecca and Danielle who knew them personally and wanted to help there business. I contacted via phone to set up an in person meeting and home showings. I HAVE never met agents that are so rude and pushy to get my money on homes that I viewed and unhappy with. I was repeatedly told I was being difficult in my requests. I even caught them talking once about me in not the most silent voices and even when I looked at one of them they rolled there eyes.Wow. There is so much I can say about these people but it would take to much time so please don’t waste your time by contacting these people to help you purchase a home. Worst experience ever.

After years of saving, dreaming and negotiating, I finally convinced my husband that it was time to buy our first house. So I looked around, read some reviews and narrowed it down to a couple of different realtors. I called one that was recommended by a coworker, but he felt «slimy» — something was definitely off there. Then I called Danielle and the rest is history.
Of course, our decision to buy a house was in the middle of the housing rebound. All of the houses we bid on we lost, but not because of Danielle. Apparently all cash, no contingency offers will win out over first time homebuyers who have financing and contingencies. Then my mom passed away, so we took a break. Then my husband had heart surgery, so we took a break.
Wouldn’t you know it? The 13^th house we bid on in the 13^th month was the one we got… Just before we flew across the country to run a half marathon.
Danielle kept us calm and grounded. She kept our spirits up and helped us write offer after offer. Then, once our offer was accepted, she kept in great contact — even across the country — and answered my questions promptly.
I’d totally recommend her to anyone. And if we ever decide to sell this house I’ll be calling Danielle first thing!

Danielle is one of the best agents and if you want to buy or sell in Castro Valley, you would be hard-​pressed to find anyone better than Danielle. I first knew Danielle through Castro Valley Mother’s Club and immediately I can tell this lady is not only smart but, through the years I know her, also a good person. When my husband and I needed to sell our house, she was the one I called because she is a top agent who knows just about everyone in Castro Valley, completely knowledgable about local market, and is above board ethical. As virgins to selling a house, we really appreciated Danielle’s guidance and how she made herself available to us. Her advice are completely on the mark and should be followed without hesitation. Danielle is a consummate professional who stays on top of her game through stressful times and without question one of the best agents to work with in Castro valley area. We love that she is also comfortable with technology, which is an asset in an agent when communication is key! She is worth more than the commission for all that she delivers!

SHE’S EVERYTHING YOU THOUGHT A REALTOR SHOULD BE BUT NEVER ACTUALLY IS. Seriously, Danielle is amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and is actually willing to share that knowledge with you. She is willing to provide advise and expertise, but is never pushy. She truly is an advocate for her clients rather than a salesperson disguised as an advocate, which every other realtor I’ve ever encountered seems to be. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Not only is she an amazing realtor, she is a great person and she makes you enjoy your real estate transaction — something I never thought was possible. I’ve never looked forward to a call from a realtor before, nor have I ever looked at the commission on the title statement and thought, «That’s not enough.» Needless to say, with someone this great, we were worried she would be too busy to work with me, but she always made me feel like I was her top priority. If you get a chance to work with Danielle, consider yourself extremely lucky!

There is no end to the wonderful things that I can say about our experience with Danielle as our agent with the recent sale of our home. She is a consummate professional, attentive and detail oriented. She always had our best interests in mind, and went out of her way to keep us informed and help make a very stressful sale (due to our newborn son, some shady dealings from other agents, and relocation out of state) a very positive experience. If you are lucky enough to work with Danielle, know that she will be your advocate through the difficult experiences, and will be honest in dealing with the tough decisions that everyone has in the real estate process. I cannot be overly effusive about what a fantastic agent she is, and given that we were working with another agent out of state in buying a home, we were able to compare the experiences rather directly. If we ever decide to move back to CA, Danielle will be the first person that we call.

We just moved into our new house in Castro Valley today! Danielle made the entire process so wonderfully easy. We are so grateful to her for all of the support and guidance she provided throughout the sale of our old home, and the purchase of our new one! Danielle was fabulous in every way. She is reputable, well connected, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. She knows Castro Valley well, as she has lived there for years. She is also very flexible as both my husband and I work, so many evenings and weekends were carved out for us. We were very pleased with our choice, and highly recommend her.

We chose Danielle as our agent for purchasing a home in the San Leandro to Hayward area. We could not have been happier! The first outstanding trait we saw in her was her responsiveness. I contacted 4 – 5 agents at about the same time and Danielle responded first. This continued through the entire six months (yeah, it wasn’t the smoothest home search) we worked with her.
I interviewed three agents and Danielle was our best match for enthusiasm, assertiveness, and knowledge. Her enthusiasm kept us encouraged even though we had FHA financing, and two of our contracts fell through. We are not assertive people so we needed a person who could take charge. This also was great when we were discussing properties and I’d ask my husband «I don’t know. What’s the school district? We need to know that before I can go any further,» and Danielle would have already picked up the phone and dialed the Hayward Unified School District to tell us definitively the district before we even looked at her. We relied on her knowledge of neighborhoods, the real estate market and home maintenance. Though my husband and I were very active in searching listings, the home we bought we initially viewed at Danielle’s suggestion.
We are so grateful to Danielle for being everything we needed on our home search!

My prior experience with real estate agents was that they were a necessary evil to navigate the myriad of processes and paperwork required to buy/​sell a home.
My wife and I bought our home and learned of Danielle from the most powerful organization in Castro Valley — the Castro Valley Mother’s Club. Danielle showed us several homes during our first outing to get a sample of the types of homes in Castro Valley. She was very knowledgeable about the all of the neighborhoods in our town.
When we found the home that we wanted — Danielle sprang into action to make sure that everything went quickly, smoothly and without an issue. She helped us find the right inspectors and get things fixed prior to closing. Everything happened on time and without issue.

Danielle was absolutely hands down AWESOME when it came to selling my home in Castro valley. She was so patient and helpful with the entire process!
Because of the economy, it was longer than most sales, but thankfully, we became close friends and I also became friends with the new owner as well!

Expository section: Ok, I freak out and obsess about most every purchase, be it a car, a blender or even new shoes. Thanks to Danielle, I did almost no freaking out during probably the BIGGEST purchase of my life.
I was completely overwhelmed at the prospect of buying a house and after attempting to research it on my own for a few weeks I was referred to Danielle and almost instantly was able to RELAX.
She explained the whole process to us, gave us lots of reference material and took care of EVERYTHING. We went out looking at houses with her only twice before finding a house we LOVED!
I guess every sale has its complications but this seemed a particularly difficult one because, in brief, the seller’s realtor sucked. Danielle had to pretty much badger the guy to get him to reply to things and move the process along and badger him she did (I’m sure in a very professional way).
Danielle set up all the inspections and coordinated with the loan broker and everyone else to make it all happen. She was available ²⁴⁄₇ and was eager to meet friday nights or early saturday mornings if that would make things happen faster.
We closed almost a month ago and Danielle and I are still in touch. She emailed me a coupon for Lowe’s recently and when she saw me comment about a problem with the gas line to our dryer on facebook let me know that it might be covered by the home warranty.
Ok, I could go on and on here but let me just sum up by saying even though our price range was probably much lower than most of the clients she gets (meaning smaller commission for her) I felt like that was absolutely irrelevant to her and I think she worked even harder to find us something in our budget that we would love. And we do =)
I would give Danielle 6 stars — no, 300 stars — if Unilocal!would let me.
