We specialize in locally grown produce much of which we grow ourselves. We start each spring with pick your own strawberries and continue through the year with pick your own blueberries and grapes.

History

Established in 2009.

Jeffrey and Karen Frye started farming in 2009 with and acre of strawberries and have grown each year since. They now grow 2 acres of strawberries and 8 acres of rotated vegetables. A portion of their farm is being transitioned into organic to meet the growing needs of their customers.

Business Owner

Jeffrey grew up on his grandfather’s farm and that’s where the seed was planted for him to become a farmer. He attended NCSU where he earned a Master’s Degree in Plant Pathology. He handles all of the field work, practices crop rotation, planting cover crops, and beneficial plantings.
