I’ve been in ”plumbing hell” since Thanksgiving. Joe was the 4^th plumber to assess the damages on my house and the 2^nd to do the work. The ins adjuster moves at a snails pace, the first plumber did an ok job on parts of the job (btw Joe was honest about the job the other plumber did and said it ok he didn’t need to go behind him to fix), and the two plumbers who just assessed the damage, one through home warranty (WASTE OF $) and the other was someone I know with a plumbing co. Warranty plumbing co had a 1.5 star rating… no way. The other I was on the verge of using but the estimate was pretty big. Anywho… Joe is the best damn plumber… PERIOD! He’s been the only sparkle in this process! Very thankful to have found him.

Joe is AMAZING. He showed up when he said he would, quickly found the problem, and knew exactly what he was doing when it came to fixing it. My sister and I are two new homeowners and single women. I’m also a mother… so I have a desperate need to have things running around here! He made sure I knew what was needed, he gave suggestions but was not pushy in regards to them. I can’t recommend them highly enough. He’ll be our family plumber, and I’m recommending Rent-​A-​Plumber to anyone who asks me! Thanks guys!

New Years was two days away and unfortunate things happen like losing hot water. Luckily, Elena was able to schedule me the same day after hours. Joe arrived and rescued the day! Joe is very knowledgeable and a down to earth person, could easily be anyone’s best friend. Before starting Joe walked me through the routine and what to expect. He is very straight forward and gets the work done. He’s not a salesman and does not up sell you anything, very straight forward and to the point. He offers free advice and even helps you how to prevent the problem from happening again. I will definitely come back to Joe for all my future plumbing needs and will recommend him to all friends and family.

Been using Joe exclusively for a few months now. It’s so nice to have a knowledgeable plumber you can count on. When my clients hire plumbers that may not be able to figure something out, or they quote high, or do it wrong, Joe has come to the rescue and impressed them everytime. I like that he’s not a quitter and welcomes a challenge. He doesn’t put anything in the too hard box. He’s busy, but he’ll make the time and get the job done. And if he’s that busy, he’s worth the wait, I promise.

Called Rent-​A-​Plunmer after researching on Unilocal,that was a decision I am glad I made. Joe came out and took care of the situation, even returned the next day to make sure all was good. and it was ! Joe knows his stuff and dose good job of keeping the cost under control.

I was skeptical having to call someone not from a personal reference, especially since I’ve been burned in the past by a contractor. After reading reviews I decided to call Joe. From the beginning, he was very professional. He returned my call immediately and scheduled to come out that day to take a look at the my leak that was coming through the garage ceiling.
Can I just say… all of the excellent reviews were right! It really was like having a friend come by to take a look at the issue. He was friendly, honest, extremely helpful, professional, and he did not take advantage of a woman who is clueless about plumbing, as I believe most other plumbers would! Joe at Rent-​A-​Plumber is like having your friend fix your plumbing, he is honest, friendly, helpful and calm. Joe has cleared my tenants drain pipes two times and adjusted the pressure valve at my house.

2 «plumbers» had come out previously, quoting from $ 300 to $ 750 to do the job. It was a clogged washing machine drain, and the next thing you know, they are talking about opening walls and replacing pipes to prevent problems in the future (the first time in 20 years in a 1967 double-​wide that this has happened).
A phone call in mid-​morning, and Joe was out after lunch. He got the snake going, and within an hour, it was all cleared, and for only $ 90.00! That was all it needed, and not a bit of upsell. He was awesome! I am going to recommend him to our park management (192 spaces!). Very pleasant, very honest, just a really nice guy. Thank you for the good work!

I can’t begin to explain how completely estatic I am that I found Joe the plumber!
My problems started on a Thursday morning. I went to take a shower & there was no hot water. I called the gas company & made an appointment for someone to come that day. I stayed home from work & the gas company finally arrived. He diagnosed my water heater & told me my safety switch component needed replacing he told me to call a plumber & see if they could get the part because if I called the manufacturer it could take as long as 2 weeks to get the part. This would mean no hot water in the mean time. I called half a dozen plumbers, all of them telling me that they were unable to replace the part & to buy a new water heater. Then I came across Joe. Over the phone, he told me to call the manufacturer. Have them send me the part the next day & that he would install/​replace it. He was the only plumber that offered to do this. I called Whirlpool they basically told me to go to Lowe’s where I had bought the water heater from to purchase the part. The part cost me $ 30. Joe arrived at my house on time & was very professional. Joe replaced the part within 20 minutes & my water heater has worked perfect ever since.
While he was at my house, he snaked & blew out my main vent that goes through the house to my dryer. Prior to the vent cleaning it took an average of 3 hours to dry 1 pair of pants. I’m now drying full loads in 30 minutes. He also replaced my kitchen faucet, unclogged my bathroom sink, & fixed my ice maker. He is very reasonably priced. I fully recommend Rent-​A-​Plumber. I love this guy & will never consider hiring anyone else.

Joe was recommended to us by a family friend and we’re thankful they did. He installed our new water heater during his vacation. Who even does that??? Long story short. Reliable, honest, and gets the job done. Thanks to Joe, my family will ring in the new year with hot water. Highly recommended!!!

On the scale of 1 – 5, Joe deserves a 10! He outright handled the problem with my kitchen sink; cleaned out the area when he was done, very knowledgeable «knows his stuff», respectful, came in on time– as they have promised, prompt & efficient, reasonably priced, down-​to earth, man of God. I could go on and on about his quality of work, but overall, this man is just… phenomenal!
I will definitely recommend this company! But… Joe is the man!!! I thank you Joe, from the bottom of my heart.

Very unreliable plumber. Used this company when run by previous owner for many years which was always great. Now it’s gone downhill with no attention to set appointments. Set time yesterday and I had to call to find out his truck broke down and then rescheduled for today at 8am and never showed up. Don’t rely on this plumber if you have any problems. Too bad as we really enjoyed working with Ron the previous owner,

Joe didn’t actually fix anything in my house, but I’m sure if he did, he’d do a great job!
My plumbing was backed up in my kitchen, and when I ran the washing machine, a whole mess of water came gushing out of the wall. This happened a few times and my floor completely flooded. I called Joe and he came over to inspect the issue. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the problem seemed to clear itself up.
Within the next week, it happened again. Joe came out the next day and we decided that I was using my garbage disposal incorrectly and that my pipes might have a lot of plaque on them. He inspected the pipes underneath my house, alerted me to a leak in my bathroom, and explained how everything is set up down there.
I haven’t yet replaced my pipes, but when I do, I’m calling Joe.

I have only called this place so far and he (Joe) was awesome. He troubleshooted and diagnosed right over the phone. He had flexible and quick appts. So I got an appt. tomorrow for a time that works for me. I have never had such great service over the phone. Good sign already… I will review again after the work — but I don’t doubt it will be another 5 stars.

I cant begin to tell you how courteous professional and friendly Joe was. When I called a lady answered the phone and she was just so extremely nice. Joe diagonised my problem fixed the situation and charged a very reasonable fee. I will always use this company for my plumbing problems.

Joe helped me out with some plumbing issues in my newly purchased home. I had a broken pipe in the kitchen which he fixed in 10 minutes and then he fixed issued we had in our bathroom where he had to crawl under the house (not fun) and swapped by our old ipes for new copper ones. This pricing was more than fair and I absolutely recommend Joe to anyone.

OMG Joe is a life saver, he came less than half an hour after I call. Our shower was barely at a drizzle when you turn it on, no water pressure or hot water at all. He fixed it perfectly and the price was great especially for the amount of time to fix our old shower.
