Try this… a YEAR after Bill installed my «Killer» roof… he realizes I had Solar 360 (another winner) install my solar. He want to double check, and just drops by with an assistant.
One goes on the roof, finds a tile the painted cracked, Bill climbs up into my attic and double check all installation.
That is the best customer service ever!!!

Had our roof done this week and it came out beautiful. Bill was amazing to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable about roof and materials.
He had impeccable communicatiin during the whole project. Francisco and all the other workers are the hardest working men I have ever seen. They worked from am to pm. They cleaned up everyday they were here and no mess left behind. I highly recommend the company.

Bill is great. He is prompt, available, honest, and upfront. They tore off two layers of roofing and installed a new one, adding vents and such to meet code (which other companies did not mention in their estimates). He walks you carefully through the process. The service was done quickly. They even came back on Sunday night to check and make sure the house was covered fully in case of rain. We highly recommend Bill and BP Custom Roofing.

We found BP Custom Roofing on Unilocal and they were one of three companies we contacted to obtain a quote for repairing a minor roof leak. Bill was very busy at the time and it took a few days before he was able to come out but it was well worth the wait. He is extremely professional and did a thorough examination not only of the immediate area of concern but the entire roofing surface. We received a fair quote and are very satisfied by the work performed.

We just purchased a 40 year old house with original clay tiles that needs complete re-​roofing. This roof will not survive El Nino. I did plenty of research, including cross-​referencing both Unilocal and Angie’s List, collecting top roofers, and reading every review. I narrowed the list of roofers based on those with a solid track record for larger scale jobs and complete re-​roofing, and asked for estimates from 5 top roofers.
Early on, Bill at BP Custom Roofing set himself apart by taking ample time to speak with my wife during the estimate, and generally being more thorough, knowledgeable and communicative than any other company. He returned my call later that evening and spent another 2 hours talking with me. We discussed ventilation, permits, roof penetrations, materials, solar panel installation, how to protect my pool, and many other thoughtful details. His estimate was very competitive, and a great value based on the quality of work, materials, and warranty. A solid relationship with a roofing company is almost as important as the roof itself. My conversations with Bill and his track record convinced me that my roof would be in the best hands for many years to come.
The old clay tiles are coming off as I type this review, and I will post an update after the re-​roofing project is completed.

Having previously worked as a contractor, Bill’s professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. Bill responded quickly to our request for a bid and was thorough in his proposal.
We requested custom ordered shingles that are not stock items. Bill’s quote included a bid with standard shingles and with our requested shingles. It was easy to determine the exact cost of the shingles. He was able to work around our schedule and gave us the exact date for the start time that we requested. It is noteworthy that not only did he give us a prompt bid and accommodated our schedule, but his crew actually showed up on the agreed upon date.
The job ran smoothly in all phases of the project. Bill took care of contacting the City of Long Beach for the permit and inspections and the coordination paid off with minimal down time on the job. The finished job is everything that was promised.

Very impressed with amount of detail that was offered at quote, and very reasonably priced. BP hit a Quality home-​run by sending a crew out to tarp over the bare-​wood roof after tear-​off of the old shingles because of a very slight chance of rain. Impressed with the good coordination between the crews (tear-​off, tarp-​angels, installers) and very little down-​time was realized. Would do it all over again.

Bill Priebe of BP Custom Roofing was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done to our roof regarding industry standards and necessary venting. Based on the items in his quote of what he would include in his price made his quote extremely competitive. Tear-​off and installation of our new roof proceeded exactly in accordance with the schedule Bill promised. Bill’s crew of roofing staff was exceedingly polite and professional and did a high quality installation. Most important however, was how impressive Bill’s commitment to stay in frequent contact with us throughout the entire project. He returned each and every call we made to him and explained every step throughout the process. Our new roof looks fantastic and we have received compliments from our neighbors on how nice our new roof looks and adds to the neighborhood.

Bill at BP Custom Roofing is extremely professional and provided excellent service for re-​doing our roof. After receiving 3 quotes, BP Custom Roofing came in lower than all other quotes and provided better customer service and transparency through the quote process than either of the competitors. Throughout the process, Bill did an excellent job of keeping us involved and making sure we understood any challenges incurred. We had some unforeseen damage that was going to be an additional charge, and Bill made sure to have our approval prior to moving forward with any changes to our agreed upon contract.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill at BP Custom Roofing on a project recently and could not have been happier with the experience. The company I work for, Xero Solar, had been hired to install a large solar electric system at the same time the entire house was being re-​roofed by BP Custom Roofing. The job required a substantial amount of coordination and communication, and Bill got an A++ in both. Because of the delicate tiles the customer chose, we had to work step by step together and he and his guys were super to work with. The final product is stunning. Of all the roofing contractors I’ve worked with over the years, I have to say Bill Priebe is in the top 1% on quality and professionalism. I highly recommend him!

I found Bill on Unilocal.I did all my homework and had 3 quotes done. Bill was the only one who took the time to meet with my husband and myself and patiently explain the process and options. He was so genuine and real. He gave us options for a few of our challenges and was the utmost professional. Before choosing him, we checked references and went to see some of his work. All 5 star as well.
After a lengthy HOA approval process, we contacted Bill and he was helpful and prompt as usual. He quickly scheduled our service for the following week. He thoroughly «hand held» us through the entire process (as this is our first reroof). He did everything he said he was going to do, when he said it would be done and all with an honest smile. Really what more could you ask for on such a high ticket and important item. The work was nicely done and well cleaned up, on time.
We are very happy campers. He is a very safe and affordable choice. Highly recommend.

We found Bill’s company thru Unilocal and had him come out to give a quote. Out of all of our quotes, he was right on target. He had his guys out there in less than a week and they did a fantastic job. We could not be happier! After they removed what we thought was the only 25 year roof, it ended up having the original red rock on it from 1963. They removed everything from our 1“x6″ slats, replaced a minor number of boards and gave us a perfect roof, even better than we had expected.
I recommend Bill’s company without any reservations!

Bill is the best home contractor I’ve ever dealt with. He is honest, professional and very knowledgeable. His roofing estimation process is very thorough and he discloses 100% of the contracted activities.
He’s a master at his business and what he controls — but he doesn’t control rain or other acts that could potentially delay a job. However, with that said, he knows how to work around rain and will keep you informed about schedules.
Bill is the highest rated business I’ve ever done business with that I’ve reviewed on Unilocal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone (personal or professional).
Bill’s business methods are so refreshing, he could easily teach a business class at any university (ethics and customer attention).

I have to say that Bill was very upfront with how he bills for the roofing services he provided on the repair of my house. He also was very responsive and had his guys at my house Monday morning after first contacting him Saturday. Very pleased with his work. One other note, part of my rain gutter on the back of my house ended up coming down on Monday afternoon after main repairs were done. This was a result of the roof repair vibration/​hammering of nails that was completed at front of my house. Bill was very reasonable on the service charge to repair the gutter. All in all, a 5 out of 5 rating!

After the recent rains, we discovered a roof leak. Our house is 24 years old, so I was really worried that we might be in need a completely new roof.
Bill’s workers came to my house within 2 days and fixed the leak within a couple of hours. They were very professional and courteous. Thankfully, I did not need a completely new roof.

About a year ago I hired Bill to do an inspection on a brand new Boral roof we installed by a local roofing company. I felt something was just not right with the roof and needed a second opinion. Bill’s inspection was beyond what I expected. Extremely detailed with pictures and descriptions of the faulty work citing code and what should be done to correct the poor workmanship. Make a long story short I was able to use Bill’s report to go after the bad contractor and with the help of the State Contractors board I was able to recoup nearly all the money I had spent.
With check in hand I called Bill again, time for a new roof. Didn’t need to call anyone else because I’d just be wasting my time. We decided to scrap the entire roof and start from scratch. Boral split shake, synthetic underlainment, Boral ridge venting, and ohagan low profile fresh air intake to help the home breath properly. From start to finish Bill and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Along the way we replaced a ton of wood work primarily siding and fascia board. I appreciated the education I got from Bill he explained scheduling of the install, the materials we were installing and the reasoning behind things like fresh air intake and using a synthetic underlainment.
Roofs done Im happy and so are my neighbors from the sounds of it. We’ve gotten so many compliments on the home I think I need to discuss sales commission with Bill because I’ve passed his number out so much. But if anyone reads this I really suggest speaking with Bill during your bid process theres a reason behind the 5 stars.
