Dr. Baker completed a combined specialty program in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry from UCLA School of Dentistry that allows her to offer a broad-​based treatment that addresses the needs of all age groups. Dr. Baker has been serving the Carson and surrounding Southbay communities for over 20 years.

Our team at CB Orthodontics is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home. We take pride in providing gentle treatment in a relaxed friendly office. We are an energetic team with a love for laughter.

Business Owner

Dr. Cappie Baker has lived in Southern California since 1984. She graduated dental school from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee at the top of her class. She completed a combined specialty program in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1987 and also received a Master’s of Science in Oral Biology. Dual certification helps Dr. Baker offer a broad-​based treatment that addresses the needs of all age groups.

Dr. Baker is passionate about health, fitness, and nutrition and is a competitive triathlete and marathoner. She enjoys social media networking, snowboarding and practices yoga to balance her training. She became a member of Train4Autisim to suport Autism Awareness, to inspire others outside of her profession, and to give greater meaning to her racing efforts. The relationships that she has formed while being a part of Train4Autism are priceless and Dr. Baker feels grateful to be able to train with an AMAZING group of athletes.
