I came to this baseball park for a tournament. There are 10 baseball fields, but only three tiny parking lots. There were also no parking signs all along the roadways. So, people were parking in the grass. It was such a mess of cars all on the grassy areas. They really need to add more parking if they are going to host tournaments. The fields are nicely maintained with working scoreboards. The spectator seating is covered which would make it nice for summer games. Although the bleachers were covered they did not have seat backs. You might want to bring a lawn chair if you have several games. The worst part of this park was the bathrooms. They were disgusting. Toilet paper everywhere, they reeked of feces, and there wasn’t even any soap. So, bring hand sanitizer. Again they should have prepared for a tournament.

Good space with lots of parking and plenty of fields for activities. I play in a soccer league there, and while the ground is not in the best of shape, but considering the beating it gets on a regular basis(i’m talking just from our group around 4 hours of intense running per week, and i’m sure other leagues go there) it’s pretty well maintained. Plenty of parking spots available, and overall a nice spot for some outdoor sports and activities.

it’s been some nice weather in Dallas lately, and before it went back to the upper 90’s my mom and I decided to have a nice picnic at this park, along with some relaxing time! We drove down a bit before we saw some picnic tables, but there is a lot of open space here. On weekends when I drive by it there are plenty of kid soccer games going on. They also have a nice trails. Where we were sitting they had a few big baseball cages too! I need to come back to check out the trails.

Our Little League had a tournament game here last night and this place is great! More baseball fields than I’ve ever seen in one place with nice amenities including helmet and bat hooks in all the dugouts, a nice snack stand, and covered/shaded bleacher seating at all fields. There’s also a nice lake area. I’m currently in a running program and had to get a run in while the team was playing, and there were plenty of options here to get that done. Would love to play more here in the future!

I participated in the Trinity River Challenge here in the park last weekend. Plenty of parking, good access to the river, a nice section of river to paddle. I don’t know anything about the side of the park with the ball fields but if you are looking for a launch point for your kayak, canoe or fishing boat… here’s a nice little spot!

Only two reviews? I really love this place, not for any of the fields… My dad took me here for driving lessons and to learn how to parallel park. I also love the walking trails here for a nice scenic run(weather permitting). I also love the lake that I pass by. I’ve visited recently and thought to review. A little piece of nature to escape the suburbs.

GREAT place to jog. I carpool with my wife; if I get off early I come here to jog and excercise. I have taken my camera onto the nature preserve and taken some nature pictures also. There are baseball fields, nature preserve, small playground, I’ve seen people with fishing gear headed to the river that’s nearby. Very well maintained.

Good park for little league, fences are short but they make up for it with their height… Nice playground for the kids not playing as well

This park features soccer fields, baseball fields, and trails. I’ve used this park for a few different reasons. 1)I used to play soccer here as a kid. Great fields. Really well kept up. If you want to get a little practice in, a lot of fields remain open. 2)I’ve rented a baseball field here through the City of Carrollton. Gather up your coordinated friends and throw a baseball party. The bad news is, no booze in the park guys. Go old school and pack a cooler full of Capri Suns and Juice Its. 3)There is a preserve behind the baseball fields called Elm Fork Nature Preserve. I ran on this trail yesterday. There are all kinds of nature-y things to look at and there are poisonous snake signs everywhere. Dogs arent allowed on this trail and probably for good reason. 4) There is another very short running running trail across the parking lot from the Preserve. Its short but it might be fun to walk through if you are going on an active date. This is a really nice park. There were some dudes playing frisbee with their dogs in the baseball areas and I thought that was a good idea. There is lots of room and its pretty far back from the road. If you aren’t coming here to do sports or run, I definitely suggest checking out the nature preserve. It was pretty cool. Nature trail open from dawn to dusk. Other part of park open until about 10 then they gate it shut.
