G. Borders is an insured, family owned business that has developed a reputation of being a reliable, quality home repair and home improvement contractor by providing our customers with a high level of service and job performance that has become uncommon in today’s market.

We offer a wide range of services from home improvement and remodeling to repairs and handyman services. We have recently added a new and exciting service that provides a way to actually show homeowners interested in do it yourself projects how it is done. For those that know what they are doing, but could use some help and needs tools they may not have, this is a great option for them too.

Business Owner

My name is Skip Borders, I founded and operate G. Borders.

Our goal is to be the first contact for our customers any time that a home repair or improvement need arises.

Having worked in the residential home improvement and commercial construction business while I was in college, I moved into manufacturing where I was responsible for operations of a small 200 employee manufacturing facility. There I developed skills needed for processes, planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

More recently I spent six years as a residential real estate agent. Here I learned the importance of a well maintained and updated home as it relates to both the day to day enjoyment of the home owner.

What is perhaps most important is I truly love the work we do. I know the importance of a home to people and I feel that anything that is done to repair or improve a home really helps to improve the day to day quality of life for the inhabitants.
