This place always amazes me! The customer service is off the chain! Jimmy, frankie, michelle, Linda and a few new people all do a great job of hostessing and taking care of Michael J. And I! We are loyal customers and always will be!

First time was tonight. Frankie is awesome. So pleasant. He also made one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Bar none. Definitely going back

Apparently they kept on serving intoxicated drunk at the bar who was cursing at one other customer. The owner did nothing but keeps serving him drinks.

Been here about 4 or 5 times. I’m pretty much in line with everyone else, this place is a great neighborhood bar. The food is A+, service is A+, and Jimmy is too dope. Definitely stop in if you’re in the area.

I have been writing reviews for Unilocal for years. I very rarely give five star reviews. Bear in mind I base my reviews on value for money, quality, and service. They hit all three. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium. Onion scoops are awesome. Atmosphere and staff make you feel right at home and relaxed. Just a great experience. And during happy hour it was 4.50.

For real though, Jimmy the bartender is cool as shit. Food is good, drinks are reasonably priced. I was going to give this place six stars, but they tend to have a noisy DJ on Friday/​Saturday nights that make it IMPOSSIBLE to hold a conversation, so I knocked it down to 5 stars

Everything I’ve tried from the menu has been right on. Service is great and i I highly recommend!!! You want good food with laid back flavor… Frankies is it!!!

Ok so here is a 4month update. Frankie’s Bar and Kitchen is still the best place in the area to grab some food and some drinks pretty much any day. There are always specials and Frankie, Jimmy, and Rafa are great. The food is always fresh and taste great my fav are the tacos and the pretzel. It’s a place for everyone and they have a Dj on Friday nights that plays everything. Country and old hip hip etc etc.

Wasn’t sure what I would find when I walked into this little place, but I was immediately greeted by one of the owners (Jimmy), who made me feel right at home. Had a very good Bloody Mary and some eggrolls, which were awesome as well. This place has a friendly atmosphere, and TVs everywhere to watch sports events. I will definitely be back. Best neighborhood bar in the area.

The food, the drinks, the service, the vibe… all really good.
Came on fight night last week (Rousey vs. Carreia) and it was super packed (like no seats packed). The staff brought out extra bar stools and other folks were helping my friend and I get a seat at the bar by moving over (only one rude female complaining about the lack of space when we sat close to her).
Three folks working — Jimmy, the owner, and another bartender — and despite the crowd, they worked their tails off (especially Jimmy who was cooking) to get everyone what they asked for. Service was slow at the beginning (expected) but we were taken care of the rest of the night. We ordered the chips and queso to split and stuck to the tall drafts in frosty mugs all night. Chips were freshly fried and thin and crispy and the white queso was what that was (though a tad salty). I watched Jimmy cook the entire time and wanted to order everything and I wasn’t even hungry! He just made it look that good. Hoping to pay them another visit soon to try more things on the menu. Very nice local bar in the Carrollton/​north Dallas area.

My plans changed at the last minute and I needed a bar to watch the Pacquiao-​Mayweather fight. I called around and everyone was packed and you could tell from the phone calls that the place was chaotic. But then I saw Frankie’s online and decided to give it a whirl. Even from the short phone conversation, I could tell that the bar was going to be cool. The employee was friendly to the point where it sounded more like I called up a buddy to see if he had the fight on.
Typically, I hate going to a bar by myself but again, this was like going to a friend’s house. There were no old arcade games from the 80s, no random, gimmicky, knick knacks hanging on the walls; it was just a simple bar. Every single employee was incredibly attentive, friendly and wanted you to have a good time. The bar itself is small, clean, and the food (being prepared right behind the bar) kept on coming out hot and fresh with all the bar food staples. I will definitely come back here to watch future games. Oh yeah, and I remembered that the menu had chicken and rice and the description said something like, «The best chicken and rice made by a Mexican.» ha! Got to love it.
Also, it could have been the Jameson talking, but the cook was a straight up G with his spatula/​burger flipping skills.

Super chill place. I orderded the hamburger and onion scoops. The onion scoops were great but the burger was pretty mediocre. It needed more seasoning and a better bun. I’ll be back to try something else and have a drink. it’s a great place to chill, while I’m doing my laundry next door.

Frankie’s is a hole in the wall (next to Little Cesar’s) in a shopping center. A group of us (10 people) went there to watch a UFC fight, and they could not have been more inviting. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive and respectful. They make great cocktails and did I mention the food was delicious?
After introducing myself when I first arrived, the staff remembered and addressed me by name for the duration of the night, making me feel like I was important to their business.
These guys are the best and will do everything to make your evening great. I will say, this place has more of a bar feel and all high top tables, so it may not be appropriate for small children.

This review is not about the food (we didn’t eat, it was late) but the atmosphere and vibe and what goes on at Frankie’s during late hours for people who will show up at a random place really late at night. I gave it solid 4 stars just for the vibe of this place. It is something that you would want to comeback to every time in the midst of the night you decide to get a drink or 2. When we arrived there where only 5 – 6 people having their drinks and we were thinking ok we will only have a drink here. But #teamJimmy made the night better. We ended up staying until 2am. He is personable and told us a little bit about the place. We will definitely comeback to try their food. The open kitchen will make it even more interesting. I can’t wait to come back!

In from Minneapolis and looking for a place to chill, have a few drinks and a bite to eat. Found Frankie’s on Unilocal and it was a winner! The drink and food specials were great! But the best part was our server/​bartender Jimmy! Loved his attitude and super friendly personality! He made our time at Frankie’s a great one! Great place to hang out and drink a few after a long day’s work or play! Will definitely be back! Can’t beat the food and drink specials and the superb service!

Pleasantly surprised good food good people stiff drinks juke box plays anything and everything check this place out. The owners are awesome and welcoming i will be back soon.

Great food, great specials and the juke box plays whatever you want! You will see the owner who is super cool. But the food danggg so so good.
