History

Established in 1991.

We opened for business in November of 1991 in Sacramento on Howe Avenue. We operated at that location for 16 years. In 2007, we moved our shop to Carmichael in a strip center near a Bel Air grocery store. Our current address is at 4005 Manzanita Avenue, Suite 49.

Business Owner

After Charles retired from the US Air Force he attend a five week intensive training program from The Great Frame Up in Chicago, Ill. Upon completion of the training in all aspects of Custom Framing and operating a small business he opend the first Great Frame Up Custom Picture Framing store in the metropolitan Sacramento area. He was joined by his wife Helga and they have been helping folks frame thier cherished memories and artwork now for over 18 years. In that time, Charles has served as president and treasurer for the local chapter of the Profession Picture Framers Association.
