Sullivan’s Telephone & Data Installation

We use Vonage for our phone service, Comcast for our internet service and Directv as our satellite service provider. The Vonage box stopped working and I replaced it but it didn’t fix the problem because now I didn’t have dial tone at any of the phone jacks. Our cordless phones worked because the base was connected to the back of the Vonage box. But the jacks were dead!
Directv has a great function that we like a lot. When someone calls the caller id appears on the television screen. I use it to screen my calls. If I don’t recognize the name or number, then I don’t answer the call. This wasn’t working because there was no dial tone. I called Vonage to resolve the issue, but they said they thought it was Directv or inside wiring. I called Directv and they said they thought it was Vonage or inside wiring. So I called Bill.
The problem was rather complex and you could tell it started to cause Bill a little frustration. At times it seemed as if he would get one thing figured out and something would become problematic somewhere else. But Bill hung in there and figured out the cause of the problem and got everything working properly.
Thanks Bill! I think a lesser skilled telephone and data installer would have quit hours before.

Found Bill’s ad on the internet and decided to call him. Our schedules matched up for a same day appointment/​work so he came in the afternoon. Right from the conversation we had on the phone, I knew he was good as he asked me the right questions about what I needed to get done. The work involved in my new house was not that extensive as it was getting the Ethernet and phone lines matched properly and Bill figured it out efficiently.
Fees were upfront and honest. And since I stayed the whole time he was working, he explained what he was doing.

Okay, Bill knows he needs to change his photo but honestly, he did a fantastic job setting up a new internet connection for us so that our «gamer son» will come visit more often! He was prompt, courteous, didn’t mind getting really dirty (didn’t hesitate when he had to go in the crawl space under our house) and did the job quickly. He gets my five star recommendation!!! We switched to DSL & I found Bill’s service on Angie’s List. He was very accommodating with my crazy schedule. He was prompt, courteous & very reasonably priced. After dealing with some seriously terrible customer service from «the phone company» it was a welcome relief to get a real person on the phone instead of 10 minutes of automated frustration. After Bill ran the necessary wiring he checked to make sure the DSL service was functioning properly. He seemed very knowledgeable about what I needed & I’m happy to say it works perfectly. After Bill left, I went to clean up (I admit I’m a bit of a neatnik) & to my pleasant surprise there was nothing to clean up! I will definitely call Bill Sullivan for all any future phone or data installations.
