The bread is fabulous. The cheese and salami are great as well.

Granted I’m not Russian or even Eastern European, so maybe I lack the acquired taste. They have the most incredible freshly baked bread, I used to buy two loaves at a time and gobble them up with friends. I highly recommend the sesame whole wheat one, and the sourdough’s not too shabby either. They’re inexpensive and tasty. Otherwise, I’m less than impressed with their selection and flavors. There are definitely exotic foods and candies here, but they aren’t displayed in any sort of appetizing manner. Once I bought a sampler of their bulk candy with a friend. The first we tried was sorta like a Reese’s cup, except it was all dehydrated and chalky. kinda weird. But everything after that was some sort of misconceived combination of marzipan, grape jelly, and the same chalky, powdery chocolate. Don’t try Russian candy. Just take my word for it. Stick to bread.
