Standard Cleaning Services

Huge disappointment! Was scheduled for cleaning service today and Standard never showed up. I even called and left several voicemail messages throughout the day, and my call wasn’t returned for several hours. When a woman did call, she told me that we weren’t on the schedule and that her partner must not have written it down. We’re now scrambling to find a cleaning service for our vacation rental, which is required per our contract. Waste of a day and this company offered no reasonable solution, even though it was admittedly their disorganization that caused the debacle. Very unprofessional! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I have a vacation rental in Carlsbad. Sue helped us set up our rental from the start. She gave wanted advice on how to make it better, what we were missing, what the guest would like. As we prefer to maintain the rental ourselves, on occasion, we are out of town. We have been able to leave the cleaning up to Sue and she was very helpful in checking in guests and answering their questions, taking care of minor details for them while we were gone. Sue is our «plan B» in running our vacation rental!

Sue has been cleaning our home for 3 or 4 years now every other Friday. She does that jobs that we dont get time to do like the «Details». She always brings help and everyone on her staff is always really nice and friendly, and they always take my wife’s direction with no complaints and all smiles, and my wife is pretty finicky. Usually if someone does a bad job or messes something up she chews my ear off about it like I’m the one who made the mistake or told them to do it wrong in the first place. Not with Sue or her peeps, I get a nice smiling face and a clean smelling house for about 20 mins then my kids mess it all up again.
Would strongly recommend Sue but her schedule is filling up fast so act soon! And tell her Jonathan from Unilocal sent ya maybe I’ll get a discount or something, lol

I have used Standard Cleaning for a few years now and I couldn’t be happier. Sue is very friendly, professional and always does a fantastic job. I live in a small apartment and my schedule is very busy so sometimes our scheduled days won’t work last minute. But Sue has been flexible to switch days without hassle. She also was able to accept electronic payment which makes my life a lot easier because I often forget to leave a check out. Just a few taps on my phone and it’s done. Also every apartment I’ve lived in during the past 10 years have had the carpet destroyed from daily use and wear (I use a wheelchair). But Sue has gone the extra mile and regularly makes an effort to maintain the carpet in my apartment. I’ve never had carpet last this long while still looking great. I’m very pleased with Sue and her team and would definitely recommend.

The Free Consultation is all over the phone, no free estimates done onsite which is reason we opted for another service, at $ 65 an hour I’d rather gamble with another company. Lady was nice and friendly though and had her reasoning (s).

The past two years we have had Sue, Standard Cleaning taking care of our home. My house is immaculate when they leave, and any particular request I have is always done. They are kind, considerate, thorough, and accommodating. Sue’s rates are very reasonable, and worth every penny. Through the years I have used many individuals, and cleaning services, never have I been this pleased. She has also taken care of my daughter and son-in-law’s home before and after the birth of their son, my grandson. The cleaning products that they use are all gentle, no harsh chemicals, which is what you want with babies, and or young children. Sue, Standard Cleaning is truly five star!

worst cleaning service i ever hired. asked double than anybody does in industry, agreed on hour rate and total, then they decided to stop cleaning in minute i left the house and didn’t even want to do dishes claiming they take hours. how can you run this kind of business by leaving the house early and not finish cleaning and still get paid. never hiring these 3 ladies ever again. be aware!

I had Standard Cleaning Services come in and do a move-​out cleaning for my little house in Vista. The ladies did a stellar job, were done in the estimated time and for a price so low I spent the rest of the day damning myself for not having hired them to clean the house regularly while I lived there. I highly recommend.

Don’t bother! I went with this company because of favorable Unilocal reviews.
I gave one star because they responded quickly.
Three cleaners, for two hours, in a home with new carpet, paint and counter tops.
Focus on floors (non carpet), bathrooms (three) and wipe down cabinets.
I was so wanting to find the perfect service company for weekly services. This one didn’t make the cut.

My husband and I recently moved and were looking for a company to do a deep clean on our apartment. Sue and Lily did a wonderful, thorough, yet QUICK job. The fridge and oven looked brand new. Took off one star for some time discrepancies, but other than that, they did a stellar job. And they loved my dog and my dog loved them (always a plus!). If I ever need another move out clean, I will definitely use SCS.

I’ve used cleaning services for years and NEVER have I been so thoroughly impressed. Sue and her team did such a fantastic job and went above and beyond for me and my family. Our house required mold remediation and we needed a deep cleaning when we moved back in. The amount of dust was crazy-​after Sue’s team came, not a speck remained. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sue was a life saver! I’m sick with pneumonia and with the cold weather and where I live in Encinitas right next to an open field, mice have been having fun in my new place. I took all the steps to get rid of them however its been quite the task cleaning up after them. Finally I had complained to my son and he was able to find Standard Cleaning online and Sue picked up late on a Sunday. She was very nice and listened to me complain about all of my problems I was having. She was very polite and said she could make me the first appointment for Monday morning the very next day! I was shocked.
When she came in she brought all of her own supplies. Explained to me how to properly take care of mice droppings and gave me some helpful tips on how to keep mice out of my house. Did you that you can use peppermint oil on a cotton ball and place them in areas the mice are coming in and it repels them? I sure didn’t. Apparently the mice are allergic to it. Just another fun fact that Sue shared with me.
She used all organic cleaning supplies to safeguard my airways as well knowing I had pneumonia. I mean, who does that?! I was beyond impressed and to top it all off, she cost less than another cleaning service I’ve ever received. Kudos to my son for finding her but what else can I say about Sue. She saved the day and left the house spotless. I will definitely be calling her again.

I can’t say enough good things about Standard Cleaning. I live in Vista and have lived in three places over the past couple years. I’m a single guys so money is sometimes tight, Sue has always taken good care of me though. There was one time in particular that we had a huge party and, needless to say, I never knew how it was ever going to get cleaned. Sue came in with flying colors like a superhero with her team and it was better than before we had the party! If you’re going to pick one person in North County to help you clean, make it Standard Cleaning. Sue’s awesome!

I am so happy with this company’s work. I have used many cleaning services in the past and I have never, ever had such a great experience. This was the first time, someone brought all cleaning materials, stuck to their price and cleaned extremely thoroughly. She gave a ballpark and met that. She noted a time and met that time. I will only recommend them for cleaning going forward. I know I can rely on them to get the job done. They didn’t miss a spot and it smelled clean and fresh. Thanks, Sue!
