So Cal Custom Pools and Spas

Doesn’t get better than this! This is my third custom pool, and I think that qualifies me as better experienced than most. These guys peak the integrity meter, are true craftsmen, detail oriented and the first construction company I’ve used that has been 100 per cent to cost and schedule.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the pool that Jimi constructed in our backyard and highly recommend him to anyone considering a pool. I found Jimi to be professional, attentive and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Thanks to Jimi and SoCal Custom Pools I have a beautiful pool that my family will enjoy for years to come.

Even before my pool was completed i knew that i would HAVE to write a review about Jimi and his business, SoCal Custom Pools and Spas.
The idea of building a pool in your backyard can be so daunting of a task, the cost itself, the construction nightmare that you are always told about… we all know those stories told from strangers, neighbors, and we have read those reviews.
Then, among the crowd of pool contractors comes Jimi… and with him a truck load of pure joy, enthusiasm, passion about his job, the creativity, the genuine desire to please his clients, us, how he listens to you and really mixes his own creativity commitment, and expertise with your ideas, plans, budget. Really, yes, i know, he listens to you, sincerely no matter how «precise» you and your ideas might be, and boy was i not easy, neither was the configuration of our yard for that matter.
Having no previous experience in pool building… Jimi walked us through the entire process, and then some…
He was always, always at our house checking on the progress of his crews, calling us to ensure we were satisfied with the overall work, emailing, texting… Jimi made himself available no matter what to us, and you knew he was doing it sincerely, not because he had to be there, but because he was as excited as you about each new step in the creation of your pool, and that is something you cannot fake. Jimi s commitment to us and our pool was his number one priority no matter how busy he was i never got anyone else but Jimi on the phone, in my house. SoCal Customs Pools and Spas really is Jimi 100% of the time.
What made our experience with Jimi, and SoCal Custom Pools and Spas so unforgettable was the fact that when we decided to hire Jimi we did not yet know that we were also hiring the BEST crews in the business, and i stand behind this statement with the utmost sincerity.
imi has forged over his experience and years in the business, relationships with some outstanding professionals. From the crew who came with their mini bobcat and excavator and were the friendliest and most genuine guys you could come across… to the steel worker man who explained to my five year old his job in properly and safely spacing steel rebars in the pool, to the crew who came to gunite the pool and made sure our entire yard was protected and clean as they left, to the plumbers and electricians who stayed late to ensure then were on schedule with Jimi, to the men at the stone yard who took the time to show me all the stones, colors, texture i needed to see, to make up my mind on coping… because i was a client of Jimi, and their long business relation with Jimi meant that i knew i was in trustworthy hands in making my choice. They all did their job yes of course, but they all were professionals who were working with the idea of a bigger picture in mind, an end result that was our dream pool, and you could see that.
There was a level of commitment behind those men i found quite commendable, and in a world of cynicism and when we so easily criticize one s job, i really wanted to commend them for what they did, and how high they unconsciously raised the bar for anyone we would ever hire in the future!
Building a pool is a decision that is not made easily for most of us, and it is a commitment and an investment that forces you to seriously look into the idea of who would be «your» best pool contractor, and if you are reading this review, let me tell you, that from the bottom of my heart Jimi will not only build «your» best pool, but you will actually enjoy the process of it all, the coming together of your dream pool blending together between your ideas and his plans and creativity… and when it will be all done, when you will be enjoying your new peaceful oasis, you will reminisce of the day Jimi came into your home with that huge smile, that enthusiasm, that sincerity in him when he told you he would help you build your «dream pool», all on time, all within your budget… you will reminisce and think of how lucky you were, and how you ought to write a review somewhere, sometime and talk about SoCal Custom Pools and Spas…

Jimi did a fantastic job designing our pool! Jimi and his crew of contractors were a pleasure to work with. Jimi was able to design our beautiful custom pool into a small backyard and it turned out perfect! I highly recommend SoCal Custom Pools and Spas. You won’t be disappointed.

Socal Custom Pools and Spas did a great job with my parent’s swimming pool. I met this company through a referall and we were not dispointed at all. They designed the pool in 3D according to the description and plans we provided and executed the job perfectly.
