Very clean and professional. Usually go to Burke Williams but needed a relaxing massage while in Carlsbad (badly). My therapist was Garrie. Easy going, very professional. Got a 60 minute deep tissue massage. Went in super stressed and came out a new woman. Reasonable prices. Water and dried fruit available for snacks. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Definitely will be back. They offer some very interesting Spa packages. Will explore more next time.
While you’re in that area eat at Naked Café in same complex they have great food.

This place was both clean and friendly, which is definitely something I look for when going to anywhere dealing with my skin and nails. I have been having some issues with my skin. I had Ashley help me select the best Treatment for my skin type. She also recommended a few products that would be help my skin have a little more of a glow and soft feel to it. I will be coming back to this establishment to pick up a few of these products she has recommended.

I love this spa. I was gifted with a Hot Stone massage and found it to be perhaps the best massage I’ve ever had. Seriously. Gary you are so good at what you do. Also: the place is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and really comfortable to lounge in before and after the session. The bathroom had everything I needed to get ready afterwards. I have already booked my next apt. and cant wait.

If you want your skin to glow, see Megan! Seriously-don’t question it. My skin has never looked better. She is such a sweetie and really knows her way around extractions;) I love this place, the staff is friendly and the spa is comfy. As a bonus, you have the option of getting a complimentary mimosa to end your service. The massages are amazing here too-​I have not been disappointed with my visits here.

I received a gift certificate for this spa, I find their services over priced and had tried them out years ago but just could not justify their prices verses the service received. So this year when I received the gift certificate I decided to take advantage of my generous gift. My gift certificate was for $ 125. I booked a facial, the receptionist said I could discuss what service I wanted when I arrived based on the needs of my skin. I arrived for my appointment but the center was experiencing a power outage and they said they would be out of commission for several hours but would call me to reschedule, they did call hours later and I re-​scheduled for 2 days later. They offered me a free lip and eye treatment to compensate for the inconvenience, I was told to come in 15 minutes earlier to fill out paper work. I arrived 15 minutes early, the owner was behind the desk, she was very nice but confessed she was filling in for someone who called out sick. I was led back, showed around, waited in the lounge for 20 minutes, no paperwork was provided. The esthetician came out, explained I should have been provided paperwork but we could fill it out in the room and she was late meeting me thinking I was filling out paperwork. I went into the treatment room, we talked about my skin, she said she would recommend 2 types of facials, I asked what would best suit me (they have 8 – 10 varieties)… she said an oxygen treatment would be best. I was cleansed, educated got the oxygen treatment which was cool blasts of cold air to the face, asked if I wanted to upgrade my service for $ 50 for a micro derm, I declined. Apparently Madonna utilizes the oxygen treatment and that was told to me 3 times. I think I had a eye treatment, nothing was explained, no lip treatment, I was given a 8 – 10 minute shoulder massage and was told I was done… I have been to several spas and it was pretty mediocre. When I left I asked the receptionist to let me know the total so I could tip appropriately. I was told I owe a balance of $ 20 additional dollars… I was in a rush to get somewhere but when i thought about it after leaving I was thinking $ 145 for a 45 minute facial plus tip??? I did not upgrade and the most expensive I saw on the site was $ 125. I decided to call the day after, I left a voicemail saying I think I was over charged, I was thinking maybe I was charged for the eye treatment I «thought» I got? I received a call back that I missed, so I returned the call and spoke to Cassandra. She basically said yeah you weren’t over charged the oxygen was more. I said well she didnt say that and it is misleading, since she expressed the microderm was more and I opted out. She brushed me off and said well she was supposed to tell you, sorry. Nothing was resolved, I didnt even get into the fact I was promised a eye and lip treatment for free due to the inconvenience of them not fulfilling my original appointment. I said again I would not have ordered an upgrade, she seemed bored and said sorry she should have told you.
Had I been blown away for the service provided, I would have more than likely not have even called but the service was just ok, had it cost 50% if the cost I would have felt satisfied but for that fee I was underwhelmed and even more so with the customer service after. Will not return.

I’m in love with this spa, this is one of the best spa I’ve ever went to, and it ranks on first place.

A couple weekes ago I made a last minute appointment for a manicure. I was lucky enough to have Darla take care of me. She was very pleasant. I will totally go to her again. Price wasn’t that bad. It was worth paying a little extra. Thanks Darla

The staff is great very welcoming people. I got a prenatal massage as a gift while I was pregnant. It was so relaxing and did not feel uncomfortable at all. She did a amazing job and I was very happy with it.

Wonderful experience, from start to finish. It’s completely worth the price. So comfortable, and everyone is helpful and easy-​going. I had a facial with Amanda, and I immediately scheduled my next one before I left. She made sure that we picked the treatment that was just right for my skin type, and she was very sensitive when it came to my price range, goals, etc. All the girls at the front desk were quick to help, and were so cheerful! And to top it all off, my skin feels brand new and is clearer than it had ever been! I’ll definitely be going back, and I can’t wait!

Been going to see Erica for a year and a half for facials. Rather than picking my own facial treatment, Erica decides after looking at my skin what products she will hand select for the treatment. My skin is very temperamental, thus I’ve never liked facials before, but as she applies this or that she explains the scientific process behind it which I very much appreciate. I haven’t tried any of their other services but am sure they’d be up to the very high standards Erica has set in my mind for this place.

Mixed feelings about this pricey place.
First of all– it’s expensive. $ 50 for a pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure sucked at shaping nails although her massage was pretty good and relaxing.
Relaxing lol… The massage was, but the seating is trendy and uncomfortable. There is no reclining or pillows to make it comfortable enough.
The tea however is yummy in the lounge, but seriously trail bars are not a spa thing– maybe upgrade to a loose nut/​fruit mix.
The front desk gal was nice and so was meeting Gary. But when I went back in later– they were both not in front and the gal behind the desk was a little aloof. I asked for the lavender pedicure and assured with her that it was $ 45. I know it was steep but I just wanted to relax.
When done, she said it will be $ 60. I said no. She said yea our lavender pedicure is $ 60– I asked to speak with the manager and out came a lady totally unprofessional looking and gave me attitude about the price difference. Funny thing is– no where on their menu was any pedicure listed for $ 60… I mentioned that to her so she rolled her eyes and told the girl at the front to charge me $ 45. She turned around and walked away.
Seriously, I’m not coming back. You are so rude. And the lady did a awful job on my toes.
Save your money girls! Not worth it.

What a wonderful experience! I brought my three adult daughters to the spa, to treat our oldest daughter, who is expecting, to mom-​to-​be spa day. The aesthetician (Emma) was very professional and very, very good. She was so polite and so knowledgeable, a real pro. My daughter who was expecting also had a massage, which was fantastic, and my nail technician was very good as well. The director was so lovely, professional, cheerful, and you could tell everyone enjoyed working there. Just an overall wonderful experience, beautiful atmosphere; we cannot wait to go back!

This is THE BEST SPA in NORTH COUNTY. My parents purchased the Island odyssey package for me for my 25^th birthday and goodness did this place deliver! Truly, one of a kind experience– my first real «spa day» if you will, and wow, are my standards now set high!
I started off by being greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk; seriously, so sweet. Made me feel relaxed, comfortable and showed me where the locker rooms were for robes, explained the process and got me some water. It was a fabulous start.
For my first treatment of the package, we scheduled a massage. Alice was my masseuse and in telling you people, not exaggerating, this was the most amazing full body massage. I sincerely felt like every area was totally worked and that she did an absolutely wonderful job. When I come back, she’s the only girl I’ll ask for now. She was GREAT. After the massage she brought in a robe for me to change into and a basket to put my things so I could take it to a locker and put it away. She was waiting outside the door once I robbed up with water and offered me a mimosa which I declined but I thought was just such an elegant touch to the whole spa experience!
Next, I waited for my facial. Amanda came out to get me from the meditation room where you wait prior to your treatments and after your treatments if you’re doing a few in a day. She was bubbly, but calming and offered factual information during my facial. We did the fire and ice facial/​peel which was awesome! First peel-​type facial I’ve ever done and only my second facial ever! You definitely get tingling but I feel so much cleaner like I was rid of toxins instantly. And while I’m on it– that bed you lay on for the facial — AMAZING. I want one for home!
Last, I finished off my fabulous day with Sheryl who did my manicure and pedicure. She was so great because she could tell how tired and relaxed I was. She talked and kept me awake (in a good way at times) and the pulled out all the stops on the pedicure too – sugar scrub – hot pack for behind my head/​neck and pillows so I could snooze during the pedicure. LOVE THE RED and the attention to detail.
Amazing experience. Truly left me with something to remember and I will be back! You might pay a little more for services here but if you’re truly wanting a «spa» experience and not a cheap service, this is the place for you. Treat yo’ self!
Side note: Bathroom was very clean and there are lockers to store your things – comes with a numbered key so you won’t have to worry about it or remember what locker you put it in after your treatments (we can all get a little foggy after a massage lol). Just wanted to mention that because sometimes those things go unnoticed!

Fabulous! Got a facial, back facial, mani and pedi. Facial was simple and involved a lot of massage. Back facial was like a massage with creams and scrubs and cleansing thrown in. Awesome. Mani and pedi were both well done. My only problem with the mani/​pedi was the silence, but I’m just awkward anyway. The chair for the pedicure is super cool. I took a shower at the end of the day. There was no place to change except the toilet unless I wanted to get my stuff soaked in the shower. I managed and am just being picky. I’m sure many people have no problem.
I really recommend and wish I lived here so I could visit again.

I have had many visits at this spa and I give it 5 stars without having a doubt in my mind. Every member of the staff shows the greatest professionalism and are very good at what they do.
I have had a couple massages, pedicures, and facials here and I’ve gotten them from different professionals every time. And every time I have came here I have never been displeased. I can definitely say I’m a regular here and will continue to come here because of how great they treat me. They also have the best advice on what products to use too!
I hope I’m not forgetting anything, because this place is a must go for any kind of face and body treatment!

The spa is gorgeous and full of special amenities. They have thought about all the little things which is what is really important to me.
I had an organic scrub and massage. All the products used smelled amazing and made my skin incredibly soft. My masseuse, Gary, was professional and very talented. He found knots and sore spots I didn’t even know we’re there. He checked in on the pressure, but not too often that I couldn’t enjoy the experience. He had a perfect system down with hot towels, pillow placement and just the right amount of oil. Speaking of the oil, I should have asked what it was. Normally I have to shower after a massage bc I feel greasy. I left that oil on all day because it was hydrating and smelled so good.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience there.

Got a shellac manicure done here today and it was amazing! The girl (i am totally blanking on her name) was super sweet and answered all of my questions no matter how ridiculous they seemed. Their pedicure was also amazing. Great service and beautiful facility! Would definitely come back! Love this place. If you want a nail place that you can definitely count on receiving a quality mani pedi this is it!

This is the cutest oasis! I didn’t know it existed, but now that I have found it it will be my go to place for a spa! The staff is super friendly in person and on the phone which is rare. Janet was my manicurist, and she did a beautiful job! Very professional, friendly, and sanitary as well. And the pricing was not expensive by any means especially for the Beautiful job they did on my nails. I will definitely come back to Janet. I am so pleased with the friendliness, ambience, and professionalism of this mom that I booked my daughter and her friend manicures and pedicures for their birthdays. I am so thrilled to have found this little gem in Carlsbad.

I got the island package as a gift and was very excited to use it. Sadly I left disappointed.
Everyone who worked there was very nice.
The massage was average… The room was too hot.
My real disappointment was with the manicure. I was offered a glass of champagne to have during my manicure only to then be told they had none. Not a huge deal. But still …
My nails looks terrible and I will be getting another manicure this week. She did not cut any of the dead skin :/​I said «I wish you had shellac here» and she said «oh we do but I don’t have time to do that». No one ever mentioned that to me and there was not one other person in the salon with me…
