Eddy and his team are great. They worked very hard to make my vision for our new master bath a reality. They went above and beyond to make it fantastic. Eddie had very helpful design ideas and his team made sure every detail was the way we wanted it. I too never give reviews but these guys are the best. I will go back to them anytime I need a kitchen and bath contractor in the future. Thanks Eddy and team!

To echo a previous reviewer; if I could give North Star 6 stars, I would! North Star recently remodeled our guest bathroom, and it was by far, the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. We have flipped and remodeled numerous homes over the years, and dealt with dozens of contractors; however, Eddy and his team at North Star were the absolute best! We received a quote within 24 hours of our initial meeting, and Eddy and his crew started just a few days later.
Their designer, Lori Ramsay, was in constant communication with the various contractors, ensuring the project progressed smoothly and in a timely manner, in addition to providing us with daily updates. It was a pleasure to be able to take advantage of her incredible design expertise, as she helped us with style and color choices.
Every contractor arrived on time each day and were extremely respectful of our home. They tarped everything and cleaned up at the end of the day, as if they had never been here. Truly quality work and the best floor tiling we have ever seen. AND — they finished AHEAD of schedule! Amazing!
We are planning a major kitchen project and are looking forward to working with Eddy, Lori and the North Star team again. A remodel can be overwhelming and stressful; but not if you hire North Star. They are the best.

I want to preface this review by saying that I haven’t written a review in years. I only typically write a review if the service is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. That being said, North Star would get 6 stars if Unilocal would allow it.
We met with 3 different contractors and got pricing from all 3 on a complete gut and re-​do of our master bathroom. North Star pricing was competitive and Eddy came highly recommended by my in-​laws because of work he did for them. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes suggestions that are spot on.
I manage construction projects for a living, so I’ve got very high expectations and no patience for delays, and I have to say that Eddy exceeded my expectations. His guys are very nice and the quality of work is EXCEPTIONAL! Unbelievably, his price stayed the same even after I requested a few extra things like an additional outlet, tile repairs in my guest bathroom, carpet patch in my closet, etc.
This company isn’t just good, they are exceptional. I would recommend them to everyone!

I never thought that we would be able to install a giant towel warmer on a fully tiled wall, but they did it! We also needed to replace some tile around a very large window replaced. Our home is about 30 years old, and we had some tile we saved from the demolition of another bathroom in the house. They were able to reuse the old tile for the gap around the window replacement. You’d never know work was done, it was perfect. And not easy to clean and cut all of the (2X2) tiles. North Star was amazing. Eddie came to give the estimate and had so much more confidence than anyone else that bid. The gentlemen that came to do the work were extremely polite and professional. Very neat, cleaned up well after themselves. We will definitely use them again, and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Eddy and the crew finished up a bathroom remodel for us in time and within the budget. Eddy was able to negotiate the fee to meet our budget and still deliver what was being asked.
We are very happy with their workmanship and level of detail. The crew were fine with spending time after hours to finish the job within the expected time. We are happy with North Star and would recommend them.

Eddy and his crew where amazing! They remodeled 3 baths, our kitchen re-​painted the entire interior of our house and replaced a lot of our flooring. Our house has under gone an amazing transformation and my family and I truly love everything that was done. Eddy was great helping us create the designs we wanted. My wife and I both had ideas in our head but weren’t sure how to put it all together. Eddy worked with us in picking out materials and helped make sure that we chose fixtures that help keep us on budget. At the end of each day his crew did a great job cleaning up and made it very bearable to live through the remodel process. The crew, Eduardo and Fino, became part of our family and to this day my children still ask when are the workers coming back as they had a lot of fun watching them and getting to know them.

We contracted North Star to renovate our dated 1980’s kitchen in April of 2014.
Eddy’s proposal included a beautiful design including cabinets and lighting using high quality materials. His assistance and suggestions in choosing flooring and wall tiles was invaluable, and his existing relationship with local suppliers made the procurement of materials seamless.
While his was not the cheapest bid, it was the best articulation of what we wanted and it was clear Eddy knew how to deliver this project.
Eddy and his team handled every detail, and during the life of the project Eddy had the team re-​open and make a 3 inch adjustment to a wall, because it did not meet the standard set. This change cost Eddy a full man-​day of work — but he delivered to promise.
North Star started and ended the project on-​schedule, on-​quality, and on-​budget.
I would recommend North Star and will use them again if the opportunity arises.

North Star Kitchen and Bath remodeled my kitchen cabinets and counter tops, as well as reconfiguring the layout of the kitchen. The owner, Eddy, initially met with my husband and I in person, and discussed our budget and our wish list. He was honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. We had the written bid within 24 hours, and work on the kitchen began within a few days. The crew that arrived at my home each day was personable, honest and respectful. Either Eddy, or his daughter Amanda came by every day to check on the progress of the job, and our satisfaction. The whole process took 7 working days, which I feel was amazing ! I love our new kitchen, and would whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for a job well done, at a very fair price, with wonderful results ! We hope to use North Star again in the future, to remodel our master bath (:

We used North Star Kitchen & Bath to remodel our guest bathroom. Eddy, the owner was very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He and his crew, Fino and Eduardo were always prompt in arriving for the day. On several occasions they stayed later into the evening to finish that day’s work and to talk to us about the progress. They kept the dust to a minimum and always cleaned up at the end of each day. We put a recessed medicine cabinet over the sink which required moving the water pipes, something they didn’t expect. They handled the extra work with care and never made us feel as if we were asking too much. The cost was very reasonable and the job was finished on time and on budget. We highly recommend Eddy and his company.

North Star Kitchen and Bath recently remodeled our downstairs guest bathroom. The job was a complete remodel transferring a standard no frills bathroom with a tub shower into a beautiful work of art. Everything was replaced, flooring, lighting, toilet, vanity, sink, paint, crown molding and an amazing walk in shower of stone, glass granite and tile. The result was amazing, and everything came out beautiful.

Eddie, the owner, was exceptional to work with in every aspect from the bid process to design assistance and even trouble shooting when I purchased some incorrect material, Eddy saved the day. Eddy made it point to be on site to make sure the job was getting done to our satisfaction. His crew was stellar! They showed up everyday on time, cleaned up each day after their work and completed the job as outlined in their bid proposal.
I would definitely hire Eddy again and I would highly recommend Eddy and his crew to any of my friends.

North Star Kitchen and Bath recently remodeled both of our bathrooms. We replaced a shower, installed sinks, toilets, vanities and flooring. Most of the work was done by his capable crew, but Eddy, the owner, checked each step of the project. They were very good about doing the little extras that weren’t expressly stated in the contract. Eddy dealt with some complications and issues that our house presented in a professional and courteous manner. He made it very clear that he wanted us to be happy with the results. His crew shows up in his large self-​contained truck with all the tools, materials and cleaning supplies needed. They arrived as scheduled each day and cleaned up nicely. His price for the project was very competitive and we are happy with the results. Having had numerous contractors working at our home over the last few months, Eddy stands out as the one that I would hire again and would recommend to my friends.
