Worst ever! Have never had to deal with such rude people and horrific customer service. They wait till months have gone by to accrue fees that could have been avoided. Deceptive and predatory practices have led to me accruing a year worth of fees that were unclear as to why and when fees were being issued.
After changing their address, rather than work with homeowners who do auto pay, they waited months before notifying fees were being accrued, now I am stuck with almost a years’ worth of fees that could have been avoided. Thanks to their lack of communication, refusal to resolve the issue and insistence on charging «Late Fees» when all payments were made on time is just shady.
I use to love living in my community, however knowing that a company as crooked as Lindsay is overseeing this community just makes me sad and want to sell my home that I’ve worked very hard for and on.

The WORST properly manager ever.
Bad attitude and horrible customer service. I am an owner at Campaña at Rancho Coronado and every time I call them or email them they treat me as if I’m a criminal. I will give them ZERO stars and will work with the HOA to have them fired.
They have the attitude of someone running a correctional facility.

Worst management services I have ever seen. Stay away from them if you could… They don’t answer emails or calls. All I wanted to ask if they have received my check for the pool keys and parking permits and they never responded.
I am the new resident of the community and the former owner did not leave us a key to the pool. So I requested a new key and parking permits from the HOA. They said the one copy of the key is $ 100 and two parking permits is $ 75. Fine. So I mailed in the check for the pool key and parking permits and they said they would let me know when they receive the check.
Couple days later we emailed them to ask if they have received the check or not, they didn’t respond. So we sent another email the 2^nd day. Again, no response. Another 2 days later, we sent another email. No reply. So we decided to call. We called the office and the operator answered the phone. She asked our name, phone number and why we called. And then she said Daniela (the assistant of the HOA manager) is out of office. So we asked to speak the HOA manager Jill, the operator said Jill doesn’t handle this kind of matter and Jill is also out of office. So we asked to speak the owner of the Lindsay management, the operator said Kristen is also out of office. So no one is in the office except the operator !!!
All we want to know is if they received our check or not. If they haven’t, that’s okay. We can send in another one. We just don’t understand why they don’t respond. It’s a simple question: Have you receive the check? They didn’t even bother to answer this question…

On the 16^th of this month I wrote a review that was not favorable. As my frustrations were valid I am happy to write that Shawna kept her word! The sprinklers are working again. When I let her know that one of the sprinkler heads was broke, she had someone out here the NEXT MORNING! Thank you very much for your prompt attention!

Again, the just simply suck. I have been asking for them to maintain the common areas, specifically to remove leave, dead plant and debris buildup that has not been maintained in over 10 months. They found my request harassing and sent my «threats» to review and response by their attorney. Said attorney then responded with several personal threats. Mind you, this is all for them to remove LEAVES, DEAD PLANTS AND DEBRIS that has built up for 10 months! See the following correspondence sent directly from Lindsay Managements «Attorneys»:

The Law Firm of Peters & Freedman, L.L.P., represents the Campana at Rancho Coronado Homeowners Association («Association»). Your information and demands have been noted. You will receive a substantive response when I have had an opportunity to review your communication and demands along with the Association’s governing documents and applicable California laws.
Demand is hereby made that you cease any further communication with management on this issue. California Code of Civil Procedure section 527.6 defines harassment as «a knowing and willful course of conduct directed at a specific person that seriously alarms, annoys or harasses that person and that serves as no legitimate purpose.» You have been advised that the matter has been turned over to legal counsel for the Association and yet you continue to make the same threats, allegations and demands set forth in prior communication. As such, your continued contact with management on this issue serves no legitimate purpose and meets the definition of harassment. If you continue after this point, legal action will be taken against you.
You have no legal right to hire anyone to access or to perform any work on the Common Area of the Association. Doing so is trespass for which you will be held responsible. If any additional damage results from your action, you will be held responsible for the costs associated therewith as well.
While it appears that you are passionate about this issue, you are heading down a path which will be very expensive for your personally if you do not desist immediately.
I will not engage in further email communications with you on this matter so do not expect a response if you reply to this email. You will receive a formal letter from our office that responds substantively to your demands and allegations. Until that time the choice of whether the Association takes immediate legal action against you is yours. If you desist immediately, no action will be necessary. If you continue, legal action will be taken immediately. Should such action be necessary, both California Law and the Association’s Governing Documents provide for an award of attorney’s fees to the prevailing party and such award will be sought directly from you.
Govern yourself accordingly.

Where to start? I began to write a review on Lindsay management on Unilocal,only to find a common theme for them, and then it all made sense! 1−½ star rating!!! Is this a coincidence? Would you do business with a 1−½ star rated company?
In the interest of saving money, my HOA, Ocean Hills Summit, went with low bids for property management and landscaping, a BIG recipe for disaster!
From my perspective and direct interaction, this property management company seems to struggle with identifying problems, providing follow ups to the homeowners, checking up on work orders ensuring work completion, and advising board members on adverse landscaping conditions, etc.
Please review the posted photos for this review. This is what they believe to be «acceptable» common area landscaping, as their multiple walkthroughs did not reveal any problems with this condition and were perfectly happy to allow this condition to continue without notifying or «advising» anyone to get this very large area planted with ground cover.
This common area previously had green ground cover thick and thriving. Notice the complete absence of ground cover on this very steep slope common area?
Lindsay management provides innovative ideas and solutions such as the following in written email responses when common areas don’t get enough water.
«If you’d like to use your water hose and water the common area it would help the plants»…Really???
Bottom line, if your association is looking for a property management company that follows up, ensures work orders are complete by «verifying completion», listens, rather than trying to provide excuses why things aren’t done, and knows and advises what good common area landscaping looks like, then I would suggest your HOA looks for a property management company OTHER THAN Lindsay management.
In addition, if the owner of this company has to spend time answering and responding to multiple negative reviews on Unilocal… just remember you have been advised!

Can the receptionist at least be courteous enough to say «good bye» or «your welcome» or SOMETHING other than just hanging up after I say «thank you for your help»!!! She is a reflection of your company, and right now it’s not looking very professional.

Kristen helped step it up and was able to help resolve the issue at hand. Everybody else followed suit. She was helpful and made sure any loose ends were tied. Again thank you!

If I could give this company a negative star I would. I will be going to the next board meeting of my HOA to get a petition to change management companies. I have called this company for over 2 months trying to get an answer on getting a leak fixed that was coming from our front yard. The leak started right after the landscapers came so we assumed it was something they did to cause it. After calling about 6 or 7 times over a more than a 2 month time frame, we finally were told it was not something they handle since it was not coming from the irrigation system (only this week). So we set up to have a plumber come tomorrow to fix. it. this morning I get a call saying they called someone to come fix it and we will be getting the bill (mind you when it was something they thought they had to take care of I couldn’t get anyone to call me back but as soon as they realized it was our responsibility, someone is out within a few days)… I told them we had someone coming out and not to send someone which she said was fine and if there were any other questions she would call me back. Not even an hour later a plumber is outside our house. I told him not to touch it and called the management company. Jill there proceeded to tell me there was no way it could have been 2 months that I have been calling them and that we have known for awhile that it was our responsibility to fix it. (this was after my husband called and she told him that I have known for weeks that we needed to fix it). I then told her I have a voice mail saved from her where she says that if it is not irrigation that we had to fix it. She then said see its been over a week. I reiterated that her voice mail said «IF» and that it was not looked at until this week. She continued to argue with me and said there is no way it would have been 2 months… So I just pulled my phone records for proof…3/11/14 was the first time I called them about this problem, so she is right… its not 2 months. its over 2 months!!! I eventually had to hang up on her because she kept cutting me off and arguing with me. THIS IS THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!! They do not call you back when they say they will, they are rude and do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

Well unjust dealt with these people for the first time and last time today. I am a renter in one of their complexes and was calling them about the people they have hired to maitain their grounds. The lawn mower guy cut up my solar lights and didn’t even say anything to us. So any way when I called in to inform them of this the lady who answered the phone is unreal. Don’t try to explain anything to her you get cut off or maybe I went to fast for her. So I ask for Jill, you want to talk about pissing a person off just ask for her and she will piss you off then hang up on you. When you call back she will wonder why your mad. Either way she refuses to do her job and I would say the bottom line is this do not use them for anything. Very rude but maybe I should have looked at their reviews on here first to see what I am about to deal with maybe I would have just chalked my lights off and I don’t even rent from them. Gee I wonder how their owners and tenants feel. I can’t believe I HAVE to give them a star!!!

I am writing as an owner at Coronado Ranch and have to deal with this awful mgmt co! Jill and Shawna are two people that need training in the customer service department! They are totally useless! Not once did I emailed them and had a good experience! Every time I need helped, THEY MADE me feel very low! I asked about the keys, I asked about Parking, I asked about the pool etc all related to this property complex that I paid monthly dues to ON TIME! Every time I would received an email requesting I look at my handbook, or they don’t bother to reply back! When I call and speak to Shawna, she would not give me the time nor the day! Hello ladies ! Look at the review for this co! Mgmt like this is a disgrace and an embarrassment to other HOAs that do provide GOOD customer

I can’t believe I dealing with two mean and rude people!

Useless HOA Management, and dumb as a door knob. Waiting for a straightforward reply for WEEKS now.
Can’t even answer a simple question like, «Do you cover the fees to replace the garage door?» Reply was, «What’s your address?» THAT WASN’T MY QUESTION! Come on, Lindsay Management. Look at all your poor reviews.

They are TERRIBLE! They handle the HOA at my condo and I couldn’t hate them more. Everytime I have to call them for something, I dread it. Their staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I had a choice of who handled my HOA, but sadly, I do not.

Once again this HOA mgmt shows their total lack of customer service AND their professionalism. First of all the «violation» she stated was deemed incorrect and not a violation by attorneys that became involved! Second we came in very professional UNTIL we were ATTACKED by their manager in the lobby who refused to see us or invite us to a conference room or his office. HE became extremely confrontational to us, which is how it became heated. we did NOT start nor begin the conversation ugly, and we asked to speak to the manager. WE ARE ALL college educated, self employed business owners who KNOW the board writes the letters. We were there to discuss it with the Manager as the Board meets every 3 months! And one of the complaints is the HOA mgmt office NOT informing home owners of those meetings that are Not monthly meetings. so we WERE there to discuss their poor performance. Their manager had sent THREATENING letters to us, the homeowners. we are NOT renters, we own our homes, and he had become very very personal and threatening in his letter to us, via the Boards complaint. As you can see from other negative reviews, this IS this company not stupid, people who dont’ «understand the rules» like we are uneducated! really? we own the homes, you manage them! This company is HORRIBLE do NOT USE THEM

The manager of Campana is awful and is not professional whatsoever. She needs to learn a thing or two about communicating and prioritizing. She knows little to nothing about advocating for the communities she so calls «serves». VERY disappointed in this management.

OMG! these people suck! They treat homeowners like second class citizens and won’t even let you speak. Do not use them! They hide and take no responsibility for any event even though we all know they advise the HOA etc… Msg me and I will be happy to share more. Wow, bad bad bad.

This was my property management company for about 6 years when I owned my condo. For the most part I had little interaction with them. However, when I did it was mind numbing. I sold my condo in December of 2010. At that time I called all utilities to cancel service. The only one that wouldn’t was water because they have to be notified by the management company of the ownership change. So I called the management company and provided them with the new owner information in advance of receipt of the official recording of sale. As of today I am still getting billed for water. When I contacted the water company they said I am still the owner of record — 3 months after close of escrow. So I contacted the management company and they have to look into it. In the interim I’m still being billed for water in a home I do not own and have not lived in for months…

Never work with this HOA company. They will not service your needs or have any compassion for you as a homeowner. Stay away
